"Mommy!" As soon as Seth caught sight of Helga, he joyfully sprinted towards her, his bright golden eyes brimming with excitement.

"Your Highness, please don't run. Gelo panted as he hurried to catch up with Seth, causing Helga to giggle as she watched her son's determination. She then bent down as Seth finally reached her and embraced him in a warm hug. "Did you miss me?" She asked as she gently ran her fingers through his soft red hair. After breaking the hug, she straightened her posture, mindful of her second pregnancy and not wanting to strain her back.

"Yes! Daddy was no fun, he kept working!" Seth let out a low grumble as he folded his small arms over his chest and sulked, earning a light laugh from her.

"Did he refuse to play with you?" Helga asked before looking at Celo who had finally caught up with them. She guessed it must be difficult for him to keep pace with Seth, as his son possessed extraordinary abilities at such a young age due to his alpha lineage. "Yes, mommy! He kept telling me to play with Uncle Gelo instead. But uncle's no fun," "W-what?" Gelo's eyes widened in disbelief as he turned to look at Seth, his face showing as though he had been betrayed. Helga chuckled and reached for her son's hand before gently patting Gelo's back to console him while walking. Ever since her parents decided to reside at the royal palace of Verdentia, Gelo had been included in the move. Of course, Siegren and the rest of the royal family welcomed them with open arms. However, her mother's hidden identity as a grand witch would remain deuto undisclosed until their last breath.

"Welcome back, Your Majesty." The servants greeted her as Helga walked past them. She smiled and nodded, glad that every royal pack member seemed to be at ease now. When Siegren's curse had been lifted, everyone celebrated, many even shed tears of relief knowing that their Alpha King would no longer suffer under the curse, and peace had been restored to the palace, especially during every full moon.

The fear that once lingered within them, preventing them from leaving their rooms or exploring the palace, was now gone.

"Gelo, can you take Seth to his room? I'm just going to have a talk with my husband." Helga said when they reached the hallway.

"Can't I go see Auntie Sierra instead, Mommy? I want to see my cute cousin and Uncle Lucian." Seth's pleading eyes met Helga's as he looked at her. She smiled and nodded, knowing it would be better than sending him to his room with nothing to do.

"Very well, j just make sure to play with her gently, okay? Your cousin's still a baby." Helga reminded Seth as she crouched down to meet his gaze properly. She then smiled, happy that he took after his father in most ways. The only thing Seth seemed to have inherited from her was the color of his hair; otherwise, he was a spitting image of his father.

"Yes, Mommy." He nodded and kissed her on the cheek before walking away, waving as he went. Helga waved back with a smile until he was out of sight. She was about to straighten up when she caught a whiff of Siegren's familiar scent, causing her to turn her head towards the other end of the hallway, where he was walking towards her in a panic.

"What's wrong? Why are you crouching down?" he asked, reaching out to help her get to her feet.

"Seth was here seconds ago, I hunched down in order to make eye contact with him more easily," she responded while

Siegren wrapped an arm around her waist, drawing her in. He let out a sigh of relief and rested his head on her shoulder, inhaling her scent that eased his exhaustion. "Is he upset with me? Her smile grew even wider when she spotted David and Portia with their son inside the study. "Huh? When did you guys you guys come back?" she asked because they were away from the palace for one year. Portia jumped up from her seat and embraced her dear friend tightly, feeling a rush of joy at being reunited after so long. Their mates just looked on with fond smiles, knowing how thrilled they both were to see each other again.

"We returned earlier, Your Majesty, Portia replied before letting go of the hug and looking at Helga's belly which was already big. "How far are you coming along?"

"Six months," She smiled as she responded, and then her attention turned to the beta's son. She remembered when he was still a baby, but now he seemed old enough to play with Seth. The four adults started chatting, catching up on their lives and everything that had happened while they were apart. Eventually, the head maid announced the lunch was ready. As they entered the dining hall, Lucian and Sierra were already seated with Gelo, Helga's parents, and Seth who quickly ran towards the beta and gave him a hug. However, he froze when he noticed the small child standing behind David. "Uncle, who is he?" Seth titled his head.

Helga's cheeks flushed with color as she caught them giggling, feeling like they were being teased for acting like lovesick teenagers. "We're not flirting, you silly boy." Siegren scooped up Seth and settled him onto his lap, then began tickling him to the point of laughter echoing throughout the dining hall. The other members couldn't help but join in with their own chuckles and smiles at the adorable sight. Helga watched on, a gentle hand resting on her growing belly as she basked in the joy and satisfaction of her current life. She may have endured many traumatic events before experiencing this, but her life was perfect now. Her heart was healed, and she loved every second of it; the children she birthed and will be birthed soon, her family she grew to love dearly, and the bond she developed with the royal pack. Deciding to participate in the Luna Selection and becoming the Luna of the cursed Alpha King was undoubtedly the greatest choice Helga had ever made.
