Chapter 81 Looking Forward to Your Answer
"Low EQ?" Caleb looked at Eva, the distance between the two was narrowing little by little.
Eva felt his anger from these words. The hero didn't suffer the loss in front of him: she hurriedly begged for mercy, "No, no, you heard it wrong, I'm complimenting you."
"Huh." Caleb chuckled.
His voice was as if the late night radio DJ was telling sweet love words close to your ear.
The atmosphere was just right.
Caleb looked at her full and seductive red lips and slowly leaned forward.
Eva closed her eyes gently and waited for him to kiss her.
Caleb looked at her slightly trembling eyelashes, hugged her in his arms, lowered his head, and kissed her.
His arms tightened, holding the person firmly in his arms.
At the end of the kiss, her lips were a little swollen with a glimmer of water. She looked up at him and suddenly felt shy, then she pushed him away, ran into the car, and said to him, "It's cold. gGo back quickly!" Seeing her reaction, Caleb laughed.
Then he stepped into the driver's seat to be her driver.
Until they arrived, Eva didn't say a word to him again, and when she was in the car, she deliberately looked sideways out of the window, not giving him a single glance, while the blush on her face never faded. "Good night." Caleb said when Eva opened her door, "I look forward to your answer."
"Good night," Eva said in a low voice, and quickly closed the door.
The corner of his mouth raised slightly behind the door, and his smile has not disappeared since they came out from the Westin Hotel.
Eva, who had entered the room, put her palm on her chest. Her heart was beating wildly.
She had been telling herself to calm down, but the effect seemed not great....
Then she had a good sleep finally.
When William woke up the next day, he found that Eva and Caleb were sitting on different sides of the table, as if there was a ravine between them.
"Liam, sit here, let's have breakfast together." Eva couldn't help but being so doting when she saw Liam.
She was very careful to break things up so that Luth could swallow them.
"He's a boy. Don't spoil him." Caleb said in a deep voice.
He has always had objections to her method of educating William, but because his condition was not so good before, he did not mention this matter. Things are different now.
"What about that? He is still a child." Eva didn't like his words and deliberately did that against him.
"Eva, put down the chopsticks and let him eat by himself." Caleb stared at him with a stern face.
Eva said, "Why should I listen to yours? I'm glad to feed him. Why do you care?"
Eva made up her mind to turn against Caleb. He was being so irritable early in the morning as if he had forgotten what happened last night. Eva was shy and a little panicked, so she took the chance to let out her anger to hide her emotions.
"I'm his father and he's a boy!" Caleb said angrily.
William was frightened by his fierceness and he was about to cry.
"Liam, it's ok, it's ok. I am here." Eva hurriedly comforted him and said harshly to Caleb, "Can you do whatever you want if you are his father? It's great that you're not my father, right? Stay out of my way!" The identity of a father stung her deeply and she spoke that without thinking.
"Eva!" Caleb's face darkened.
"What! Who the hell are you to tell me what to do? It seems like you're so glad to be someone's father." Eva said all those angrily.
"Calm down and then sit down to eat." Caleb closed his eyes refusing to quarrel with her.
They received different education and grew up in different environments. Sooner or later, there will be differences when they live together. They had been at peace with each other because of her cleverness before. But now Eva is still angry because of Morgan, plus that Caleb was being so aggressive, they started fighting like this inevitably.
In fact, it was her unilateral fight. Caleb was just looking at her with his arms crossed and watched her accuse him with agitation.
Eva got so exasperated that she took out such trivial matters as drinking coffee, "I made you coffee so many times and you never said say thank you but said that I cooked that bad. I'm not your servant. Just find someone else to make it for you. I like it without sugar."
"You..." Caleb said.
"What! Stop thinking that because you're a CEO and you're amazing. You frighten kids with a stinky face every day. I just like to step on the floor with bare feet. I like drinking. And you even gave me a ban on alcohol!" Eva said before Caleb could speak.
The accusation of Caleb was simply too much to list.
"Eva, just think about it before you speak," Caleb said until she finished speaking, then he went out with the driver.
Eva and William were left there.
Not long after Caleb left, Eva regretted it. What she just said was a bit too harsh. If two people lived together, there would be many problems for sure. Caleb did these things for her sake.
But thinking about his angry look, she couldn't control her temper and quarreled with him.
"Liam, did I go too far just now?" Eva muttered to William.
William patted her on the shoulder lightly and shook his head at her.
Girls are meant to be doted.
"Do you think I am right?"
William still shook his head.
"Okay, I was wrong. I'll apologize to your father when I get a chance. I made some ammunition and put all my anger towards Morgan on him. It's my fault..." Eva said with a deep self-examination. At this time, Caleb had already arrived at the company. He pressed his stomach lightly. He didn't have breakfast and even got angry with Eva. And now, his stomach was about to make trouble again. While Eva was called away by her agent before she could wait for Caleb to come home.
"Bonnie, now? Are you in such a hurry?" Eva was very surprised when she received a call from Bonnie Hammond. "Forensic" would start filming in two days, but Bonnie suddenly asked her to fly to Pearlton.
