After deep contemplation, Mackenzie’s eyes glinted like frost as she finally

broke the silence. Her voice was low and measured, each word carrying the

weight of their shared pain and determination.

“Emmanuel,” she began, her gaze locked with his. “Now that we’re back, we

can’t rush into revenge. We must lie low, stabilize our position, and carefully

watch William’s next move. We can only catch the snake in one fell swoop by

drawing the snake out of its hole.” Her lips curled into a cold smile as she

added, “Every single person involved in our downfall will pay the price. Not

one will be spared.”

Emmanuel pulled Mackenzie into a gentle embrace, his body tense with

barely contained fury. His voice was thick with emotion as he vowed, “Okay,

Mackenzie. As the last man of the Lowe family and the son–in–law of the

Quillen family, I swear on everything I hold dear that I will avenge both our

families!”

Mackenzie’s eyes softened for a moment. “I believe in you,” she whispered,

burying her sorrow deep within her heart. She knew her role now was to be

Emmanuel’s pillar of strength, to fuel the fire of his determination.

With renewed purpose, the couple made their way to Eastern Star Mountain.

Months ago, Emmanuel had promised to defend North Star Village on its

slopes. Over the past half–year, a new base camp had been built within the

vast mountain range.

The Wolf Warrior Society had flourished under his leadership, bolstered by

newfound wealth, manpower, and territory. The recent addition of nearly

2,000 hardened recruits from the Dark Night Islands had transformed the

society into a formidable force.

As Emmanuel and Mackenzie crested the final ridge, a thunderous cheer

erupted from the mountainside.

“The commander is here!”

“The commander and his wife have returned!”

The cries of devotion echoed across the valley. Emmanuel was more than a

leader to the men and women of the Wolf Warrior Society and the Dark Night

Islands forces–he was their war god, the living embodiment of their

unwavering faith.

As the couple walked through the ranks, nodding to their comrades,

Emmanuel’s chest swelled with pride at the sight of the disciplined troops

standing at attention. Sage and Eve had exceeded his expectations. They

must have rigorously trained the troops during his absence.

Mackenzie felt a flicker of hope ignite within her. Their enemies were powerful

beyond measure, and mere wealth would never be enough to avenge the Quillen family. They needed their own loyal and lethal army. The trials at Dark Night Islands and Airspace Group had driven home a harsh truth. She must have immense strength to protect herself and those she loved.

In this world, the rules were set by those at the top of the pyramid, and she

was determined to help Emmanuel climb to the very pinnacle of that

pyramid.

The next moment, Sage and Eve, dressed in crisp military uniforms, walked

out of the war camp, standing before Emmanuel and Mackenzie with a

respectful salute,

“Commander!” they called out in unison, their voices ringing with respect and

anticipation.

Emmanuel’s eyebrows rose slightly, a bemused smile playing at his lips. “Why

are you two addressing me like that?”

The pair remained rigidly at attention, their expressions serious. Eve’s voice

carried a note of pride as she explained, “Because you are the commander of

the new Wolf Warrior Unit, sir!”

“The new Wolf Warrior Unit?” Emmanuel’s expression suddenly turned serious.

Eve nodded sharply. “That’s correct. Commander Adkins left explicit orders to

contact him the moment you returned.”

Emmanuel’s mind raced. When he had last returned to the Northern Region,

Chapter 1894 The Wolf Warrior Rises Again

Santiago had proposed rebuilding the Wolf Warrior Unit. At the time, he had

refused, but now, his mindset had completely changed. The iron will and

fierce determination of his past had reawakened, tempered by loss and

hardened by resolve.

“Very well,” Emmanuel said, his voice carrying the weight of command. “Get

me a secure line to Commander Adkins immediately.”

“Yes, Commander!” Eve responded with a salute, her eyes gleaming with

barely contained excitement,

Sage felt the same surge of anticipation. The fire that had lain dormant within

them for four long years now roared to life. The day of reckoning they had all

been waiting for was finally at hand.

Minutes later, Emmanuel found himself in a modernized war camp room,

marveling at the setup. Even here, in the heart of a war zone, Eve had proven herself to be his most capable logistics general.

The next moment, the large screen in the center of the room flickered to life,

revealing Santiago’s imposing image. Today, the Supreme Commander of

the Northern Region looked different from usual. His pristine military uniform

seemed to radiate authority, especially the seven gleaming golden stars on

his shoulder, which commanded the utmost respect.

“Hello, Commander Adkins!” Emmanuel immediately stood at attention and

greeted him.

Santiago’s face remained impassive. “Where’s my salute, soldier?” he barked.

“Too casual by half. Do it again!”

Emmanuel blinked in surprise but quickly recovered. He executed a perfect

about–face, then snapped a textbook salute. “Commander Adkins, sir!”

A ghost of a smile crossed Santiago’s face as he nodded approvingly. “Better. Now, Emmanuel, listen carefully to my orders.”

“Yes, sir!” Emmanuel’s body thrummed with anticipation, a deadly aura

beginning to emanate from him–the return of the wolf, ready to hunt once

more.

Santiago’s voice filled the room with the weight of an official proclamation. “I

hereby appoint you, Emmanuel Lowe, as Commander of the new Wolf

Warrior Unit in the Northern Region. You are granted the rank of 5–Star

Honored Battle General, assigned to Independent Division 092520.”

Behind Emmanuel, Sage and Eve exchanged glances, their eyes shining with

pride and excitement.
