Chapter 166 Returning to the Villa
The elevator slowly descended, and Danny curled his lips, hoping it was Henry.
However, Kasen was so nervous that he couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Uncle... I want to pee..." Kasen pulled the security guard's hand.
The security guard looked at him and said, "Your father's company has a bathroom, and the elevator will bring you there soon."
"No, I'm going to leak..." Kasen couldn't stand it any longer, and his legs were clamped.
"Alright, I will take you to the bathroom." Seeing this, the security guard immediately took him to the washroom inside.
Danny frowned and said, "You are so troublesome..."
As he spoke, he followed them inside.
Danny couldn't hold it in any longer and started running.
At this moment, the elevator opened with a ding.
After getting out of the elevator, Rosa walked out.
"Slow down, or you'll slip!" A childish voice came from behind.
Rosa stopped in her tracks and turned around curiously.
A figure quickly disappeared in the corner ahead.
Rosa couldn't help but smile. She was probably hallucinating. How could there be children here?
After leaving the building, Rosa immediately took a taxi and went straight to the airport.
On the other side, it was an uproar because of Danny and Kasen.
Henry found out they were in Douver Tower. He scolded them and sent them back in person.
The Lewis Mansion was already in a mess. Mrs. Lewis was anxiously crying, wanting to call the police.
Henry took the two dejected children home and grounded them for a month.
Mrs. Lewis usually pampered them very much, but at this moment, she shut up.
She was almost scared to death from their disappearance.
At five o'clock in the afternoon, Rosa picked up Andy and brought him to the hospital.
He was running a fever, and he didn't look too good.
"I don't need to go to the hospital..." Andy's voice was a little hoarse. "I am fine. I've been busy with a big deal these two days and didn't get enough rest, so I am a little tired." Rosa looked at him and frowned. "Why would you think of flying when you're like this? You could have come over when you're well-rested."
Andy smiled helplessly and said in a depressed voice, "I was afraid that you would be taken away if I came back late."
Rosa was stunned. She looked out of the window and avoided the topic.
Seeing this, Andy felt helpless. It had been five years. Every time he talked about this topic, she would avoid him.
"By the way, is Hanna all right? I miss her so much!"
Rosa lowered her eyes and looked at her phone. She smiled and said, "Hanna is fine. She's having fun at school."
"Did you see him?" Andy asked.
Rosa was stunned for a moment. She looked sideways at the man's handsome face and then nodded. "Yes, I saw it the day after I came back. Coincidentally, we are still working in a building." Her tone was light and emotionless as if she was talking about something unimportant.
Andy frowned and became alert. "You're working in the same building?"
"Yeah, I didn't expect that he had developed well in the past five years. His company has ten floors of the building."
There was a flash of darkness in Andy's eyes. He laughed and said, "He is very powerful. Rosa... will you make peace with him?"
Upon hearing this, her eyes dimmed, but her expression was calm. She tilted her head to look at him and said with a smile, "Andy, you've asked me this question for five years..."
Andy was a little embarrassed. He chuckled, "I'm not afraid. I am just worried something might happen if you meet."
"Andy..." She whispered, "I don't want to be in relationships now, nor have I thought about what will happen in the future. You should be clear about my purpose for coming back. Other things don't matter to me now."
There was a trace of hurt in Andy's eyes, but then he thought he had hope since she wasn't interested in relationships.
"Rosa, I came back to help you!"
"Don't bother." She looked at him and said, "Don't get involved. I want to solve this matter myself..."
If she needed his help, she could have gotten Andy to kill Grace five years ago.
However, what did that mean?
Grace killed Cecil.
So Rosa wanted to be the one to kill Grace.
Only then would it be fair enough!
Seeing her stubborn eyes, Andy couldn't say anything. "Okay. If you need something, come to me. I will be here for some time." Rosa didn't say anything, but she couldn't help frowning slightly.
She understood all of Andy's thoughts.
However, she couldn't accept his feelings.
They arrived at the hospital. The doctor checked on him, gave him an IV drip, and said it wasn't a big problem.
Then, the doctor prescribed some cold medicine and asked Andy to rest.
It was already seven o'clock when they came out of the hospital.
Andy was a little dizzy at the moment. Obviously, he still needed more rest. She sent him to the Silver Beach Villa, which was regularly cleaned by a maid. Hearing that he was coming back, the maid stocked up food in the refrigerator. Rosa asked him to rest and personally poured him a bowl of chicken soup.
Then, she did not stay for dinner. She missed Hanna, and her phone had already rang twice. Her daughter must be anxiously waiting for her.
She didn't stay. She told the maid to feed him medicine and reminded him to drink.
After that, she went back immediately.
She took her bag and left Andy's villa in a hurry.
She walked a little fast, wanting to call a taxi as soon as possible.
She was a little regretful that she had not learned to drive while abroad.
"Madam... Is it Madam?" Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded.
Rosa stopped, and a figure ran over.
NOW PLAY YOUR
FAVOURITE GAMES ON
In an instant, the trash can in her hand fell to the ground, and she stared at Rosa in disbelief.
Her lips trembled slightly. The next second, she grabbed Rosa's hand, and her eyes turned red. "It's really you, Madam. You're back!" Looking at the familiar person in front of her, Rosa couldn't help but be moved. She grabbed Aunt Abbie's hand and said, "Aunt Abbie!" Aunt Abbie burst into tears. "Madam... you're back," she sobbed.
"Don't cry, Aunt Abbie!" Rosa's heart immediately softened as she patted Aunt Abbie's back.
"Madam, come in. I have something to tell you." As she said this, she grabbed Rosa's hand and was about to drag Rosa inside.
Rosa frowned and looked at the familiar villa, feeling a little reluctant.
"Madam, come on!" Aunt Abbie was so strong that she dragged Rosa into the villa.
As soon as they entered the living room, Rosa was a little stunned.
"Rosa, it's dinner time!"
"Rosa, I'm back. Do you miss me?"
The familiar scenes and figures seemed to reappear in the whole living room.
"Madam, have a seat." Aunt Abbie pressed Rosa down and then shouted to the kitchen, "Luke, Madam is back. Hurry up and make something to eat!"
Luke poked his head out and ran over excitedly. "Madam? Madam! It's so great to see you!"
Luke smiled and rubbed his hands. "I'll make whatever you like!"
Rosa waved her hand and said, "Luke, thank you, but I am going back for dinner."
"It's fine. Let me make you something quick. Sit down! I'll be back in no time." Luke ran into the kitchen.
Aunt Abbie immediately began to make fruit juice for her. Taking advantage of the gap, she said to Luke, "Call Sir and tell him Madam is back!"
Luke nodded and said, "Okay. You try your best to keep her. I will call Mr. Henry immediately."
Rosa sat in the living room and looked around. Everything seemed to be the same as before. She had mixed feelings in her heart.
At this moment, Aunt Abbie walked over with freshly squeezed fruit juice. "Madam, drink some."
Rosa nodded, took it, and said, "Aunt Abbie, don't call me Madam. I'm going to divorce him soon."
Aunt Abbie frowned and said, "Are you blaming me, Madam? I wasn't by your side that day, so I don't know what happened. Mrs. Lewis called me over and asked me to buy something for you from the countryside. I didn't know..."
"Don't cry, Aunt Abbie. I'm not blaming you."
"Madam, why did you leave with someone else? Did you know how painful Mr. Henry was?" Aunt Abbie's heart ached when she recalled Henry.
Rosa didn't say anything. She didn't know how to explain.
"Madam, Mr. Henry treats you well. You see, I told him to let Luke go since you were gone, but he asked Luke to stay, saying you would have no cook if you came back."
Rosa's eyes moved slightly, and she couldn't help clenching her hands.
"Madam, come here." Aunt Abbie took her hand and led her to Cecil's room.
The door opened.
"Madam, go in and take a look!" Aunt Abbie pushed her in.
Then, she closed the door.
Rosa frowned slightly but did not say anything.
She was reminded of Cecil here; there were too many memories of him.
The bed was the same as before, the seats were unchanged but were clean.
Rosa walked around the bedroom and went to the study.
Henry specifically opened up the study and Cecil's room.
As soon as she walked in, Rosa was shocked on the spot.
There were all books of the same colour on the bookshelves.
She couldn't be more familiar with this book. It was the book Cecil published.
Why was the study full of Cecil's books?
At this moment, she was extremely shocked.
There were a few photos on the familiar computer table.
What shocked her most was that there was a script contract there.
"Still believe in love."
The screenwriter was Cecil.
The director was William Roberts.
And the sponsor was Henry.
The male and female leads were the most popular entertainers right then.
They would start filming on October 17th.
Rosa supported herself against the table, and her heart was pounding.
The adaptation of Cecil's book was put on hold after Cecil's passing.
Later, she asked Marlene to ask about the situation.
The other party replied that the novel was not suitable for adaptation as there was no selling point.
After that, she thought she could bring Cecil's movie to the big screen after she finished settling Grace's affairs.
But she didn't expect...
"What is your dream, Cecil? Publish a few more books?" The man's voice sounded attractive and pleasant.
"Henry, I want my books to be made into movies, but... my book's genre might not be suitable for it. It's quite an unpopular subject and would end up with not many views."
"How could it be? Cecil, you write the best stories." The handsome man smiled and raised his thumb to encourage Cecil.
At this moment, Rosa was wavering.
October 17th!
That was Cecil's birthday!
