Chapter 300: Stella looked at RK for a while, slowly pulling herself out of her memories.

His features were even more handsome than they had been six years ago.

Those who didnt know him could easily fall in love with him at first glance.

Feeling uneasy, he reached over to touch her forehead, but at that moment, Stella opened her eyes.

Youre awake.

Lets have breakfast, RK said softly, pulling out the porridge he had brought and feeding her small bites.

Stella obediently opened her mouth, letting him feed her until the bowl was empty.

Afterward, RK tried to entertain her with lame jokes and even attempted to massage her arms, though his technique was less than ideal.

Stella let him, unable to refuse him, though part of her wanted to ask, Mr.

Kingston, dont you have to work? When Adrian came to visit in the afternoon, Stella was still sleeping.

She had become more tired recently, her body dulled by the pain, her sense of time blurred.

Darling? Darling? Adrians voice broke through Stellas sleep, and she struggled to open her eyes, smiling faintly at the sight of her son.

Darling, youre awake! You were sleeping so soundly, you didnt even hear me calling you! Adrian laughed as he leaned over her.

Stella returned his smile, though it took all her effort.
