This seems to comfort her. We talk a bit more about Kody and then I ask her an important question.

“Kylah, do you know how long I’ve been here?”

You need to go along with things for now, please just trust that”.

“Still unconscious, Sadie is with him. She tells him you’re fighting for him and that you love him”.

“He got hurt because I failed him, I didn’t connect the dots and now he’s in a coma”.

“Wait... hold on a second. You remember everything and you know about Kody?” he looks between us, brows furrowed in confusion.

Marcus informs me that he brought me something and hands me a special scent blocking duffel I recognize from some of Kenji’s cool gadgets and things. I open it and immediately can smell my little wolf. Kylah whimpers and fights for control.
