I Refuse to Divorce!

Chapter 147

Mason flew to Hucksburgh, and by the time the car arrived at Hucksburgh Hotel, it was nine in the evening.

Neon lights were shining brightly.

The night was gentle and charming.

Mason stepped out of the black RV. At first glance. He saw a couple strolling side by side.

His wife was with another man.

In the early winter night, she wore a deep camel cashmere coat. Her long black hair cascaded over her shoulders with a slight curl, adding a touch of romance to the night. Her face was serene, and there was even a hint of joy in her expression, especially when she talked to Cecil. Her gaze was focused.

It was nothing like when he looked at her, cold and indifferent.

Mason, in his distinguished attire, stood in the hotel atrium. He raised his hand to check the time.

When he saw the photo in the late afternoon, it was exactly six o'clock. Now it was already nine, meaning for these three hours, Zoe had been with Cecil, spending time together like lovers.

Mason walked toward them.

Zoe turned her head, inadvertently catching sight of him. The smile on her face faded.

Mason reached her side, but his words were directed at Cecil, "Cecil, what a coincidence. Meeting unexpectedly is better than a planned encounter." After a moment, Cecil extended his hand for a handshake. He smiled slightly. "Whether this is a chance encounter or a planned meeting is up in the air."

Mason looked at Zoe. His voice was soft. "I haven't eaten yet. Would you join me for a meal?"

Without waiting for Zoe's response, he grabbed her wrist and said to Cecil, "Let's catch up another time, Cecil. It's getting quite late."

Cecil had his assumptions but remained noncommittal.

As Mason led Zoe away, he suddenly stopped Mason. Beneath the neon lights, he looked at Mason earnestly. "If you really like her, don't make her cry."

Mason glanced at Zoe.

Her small face had a hint of red due to the cold, making her exceptionally fair and delicate, appealing to any man.

Mason didn't say anything, just pulled her closer.

Deep in his heart, there was always a discomfort, a sense of jealousy. He held her tightly.

Zoe couldn't help but mock him.

As the door to the suite opened, Mason pressed her against the door panel.

He removed her outer coat, revealing a stunningly beautiful black dress that clung softly to her fair and delicate skin.

Tired from the day, Zoe didn't want

to deal with his peculiarities. She leaned against the door and

softened her voice, "Aren't you hungry? I'll order dinner for you."

Mason still restrained her.

Under the crystal chandelier, his handsome face didn't look too pleasant. He approached her and asked softly, "Zoe, do you have even a tiny bit of affection for him?"

The atmosphere became subtle.

A jealous husband questioning his wife indicated his concern. His wife's silence signified her indifference.

He tasted the flavor of red wine.

Zoe took his phone from his pocket, unlocked it with his fingerprint, and casually opened it. She flipped through until she found a photo. It was her encounter with CeciDin the restaurant.

She lightly slapped him.

As Zoe moved, he silently pressed her back. Neither knew who had lost their heart in those deep and shallow invading kisses.
