Chapter 95: I Don'T Believe That Mr. Lawrence Has No Feelings For Yanis
Chapter 95: I Don't Believe That Mr. Lawrence Has No Feelings For Yanis
After Yanis' words, Bonnie's face became more serious. "Are you saying that guy hit you with his car was on purpose?"
Yanis nodded. "Eighty percent."
When Yanis said this, Bonnie started to lose her temper. "I'll go to that scumbag," she whispered. "His running dog called the cops. The results might be..." "Bonnie." Yanis interrupted Bonnie as she looked at the man coming through the door.
"What's the matter? Yanis, wait for me, I'll ask that scumbag..."
"Ask me what?"
Bonnie was stunned when she heard Zane's words, then slowly turned to look behind her and coughed, "Well, Mr. Lawrence, what were you doing?"
Zane ignored Bonnie and looked directly up at Yanis on the bed. "How do you feel?"
Yanis was about to say something when she notices the wound on his arm. She frowned a little. "Let the doctor take care of your wound."
Hearing Yanis' words, Bonnie took a look at Zane and noticed that his right arm was covered in a large scrape, but the blood was dried so it didn't look that scary. Zane just gave a faint glance. "It's nothing."
"I'll call the doctor." Even though Bonnie hated Zane so much, she probably wouldn't see Yanis anymore if it wasn't for Zane, so she tried to be nice.
After Bonnie left, Zane looked over at Yanis. "The police did some research. The guy who hit you was a drug addict. He lost it."
Finally, Zane did not tell Yanis the specific cause of this accident, because he was afraid that Yanis would go to Neve, and afraid that Neve would take other actions. So Zane didn't plan to let Yanis know until things were completely settled.
Yanis frowned when Zane said this. "But the second time..."
"In his condition, he's hallucinating."
Only one sentence, it stopped Yanis' guess.
Yanis didn't say anything more. "Where's him?"
"Arrested, probably going to rehab." Zane responded.
Yanis didn't expect to across such a thing just to buy medicine. She was so unlucky.
Later, neither of them spoke a word.
Yanis wanted to move her body because she laid in one position for a long time. But the pain in her tailbone made her snort.
When he heard Yanis snort, Zane looked at Yanis at the first time, "What's wrong?"
Yanis frowned slightly. "I want to move."
Zane didn't say anything. He leaned over and put his arm around Yanis, helped her to move a bit.
"Mr. Lawrence."
Yanis suddenly said.
"What's wrong?"
Yanis pressed her lower lip, looked at him and whispered, "We didn't take any precautions this morning. Can you buy me the morning-after pill?" After hearing Yanis' words, Zane twisted his beautiful brow and stared at Yanis for a long time. Then he asked, "Did you came out just to buy medicine?" Yanis didn't deny, "Well, there's a 24-hour pharmacy across the street."
Zane just stood by the bed and looked at Yanis. He didn't speak for a long time.
The atmosphere in the room gradually became a little depressing.
Yanis could tell that Zane wasn't happy right now.
But Yanis didn't ask more, just lying quietly on the bed.
Luckily, Bonnie pushes the door open and got in with the doctor.
"Mr. Lawrence, let the doctor take care of your wound."
Zane didn't say a word. He went to sit down on the other bed.
The doctor took care of Zane's wound. "Try not to get any water on it for the next two days," he said. "Be careful in the shower."
Zane murmured a yes.
After the doctor left, Bonnie looked over to Zane and asked, "Mr. Lawrence, any news from the police? Has the driver been found?" Zane responded casually, "Found, arrested."
Bonnie barely managed to hold her temper. "There's no apology or anything? Just let him go?"
"Bonnie, he was an addict. He was out of control."
Yanis whispered.
After hearing Yanis' words, Bonnie turned to her and said, "This is a bad day for you to go out. If I would know, I would have gone with you." "I wasn't paying attention to the road."
"You can only accept it now. We don't know whether the driver has a conscience when he was sober and apologize to you."
As they spoke, Zane's phone rang.
Yanis and Bonnie looked at him at the same time.
Zane picked up his phone, glanced at the caller ID, and frowned. "You guys talk. I'll take this."
Zane turned and walked out of the room with his phone in hand.
It was Albi on the phone.
"How's it going?"
Albi replied, "That man is indeed a fan of Miss Bennett. But it was not him but another fan who found Yanis. He said that the man posted Yanis' photo in their fan group. He just wanted to fight the rights for Miss Bennett. He never expected to be addicted at that time."
After hearing Albi's words, Zane frowned slightly. "Did you ask him if he knew the fan who posted Yanis' photo?"
"I don't think they know each other. The fans come from all over the country. The names on the Internet are not necessarily real, so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Zane was silent for a moment. "Don't tell anyone about this, especially not in front of Yanis."
Albi answered, "Yes."
"Why don't you go back to the office and pick me up at the hospital later?"
"OK."
Gotrend Entertainment.
Nancy's office.
Nancy leaned over the table, looking down at the tablet. "You fans did a great job, they found her so quickly."
Neve, sitting on a couch, looked up at Nancy and asked, "They got it?"
Nancy said, "Someone posted Yanis' photo and current address to the fan group."
At this point, Nancy paused, running her fingers quickly on the screen, "Yanis was hit by a car."
When Neve heard Nancy's voice, she got up from the couch and walked a few steps to Nancy. She took a closer look at the tablet. When he saw Yanis fell to the ground, she raised her eyebrows and said, "That's smart."
Then she rolled over and frowned at a familiar figure. "Mr. Lawrence?" she asked.
Neve saw it, too, and frowned as she saw the car hit Yanis again.
Neve's face went cold, especially when she saw Zane holding Yanis to avoid a second impact.
Nancy turned to Neve, "I don't believe Mr. Lawrence has no feelings for Yanis."
