Chapter 30 This marriage must be divorced sooner or later
Yanis listened to Mrs. Lawrence's words and let out a deep breath, her tone was calm as never before, "There are only a few people who know about my marriage with Zane, not to mention that there is nothing between me and others, even if there is, you can't control it, because I signed the divorce papers yesterday, it is your son who is dragging me while hooking up with Miss Bennett. I can't blame him for not going through with the formalities."
"You ......"
"And, Mrs. Lawrence, what you just said is too serious. I am not capable enough to disgrace the Lawrence family, much less Zane." Yanis's attitude was calm and strong, and her words were so convincing that Mrs. Lawrence couldn't find a word to refute them.
"You guys signed the papers?" Edison, who was sitting in the main seat, opened his mouth and asked.
Yanis' tone calmed down a bit when she told Edison, "Signed, Albi and Miss Bennett came to me to sign the papers."
When Yanis said that, Catherine turned her face to Zane, "You had Neve get Yanis to sign it?"
When he was at the hotel, Zane wanted to ask Yanis about it, but he didn't have time to do so because Yanis suddenly cried.
Now that Yanis mentioned it again, Zane turned his face to her, "Didn't Albi ask you to sign it?"
Yanis turned his face to Zane after hearing his words, "Didn't you tell Albi to bring Miss Bennett to me?"
Zane raised a hand to pinch his brow and explained in a light voice, "It's not me."
Yanis was stunned, "Not you?"
"I did ask Albi to go to you to sign, but I didn't ask Neve to go to you."
Listening to Zane's words, Yanis frowned when she could so simply sign without even looking at it.
But to her surprise, Neve came to her for a signature that Zane didn't even know about.
Catherine also sank her face, looked at Zane and said in a deep voice, "Zane, you and Yanis want to divorce, we can't stop it, but the divorce is a matter between you and Yanis, an unrelated outsider involved in the matter is what?"
Catherine's words just fell, Mrs. Lawrence first answered, "Mom, you do not blame Zane, the marriage will have to be divorced sooner or later, but also fortunately Neve let Yanis sign the letter, if tonight's incident was exposed, then we the Lawrence family's face still want?"
Catherine looks to Mrs. Lawrence, "You think Neve is the right person for Zane? Back in the day......"
"Grandma."
Yanis suddenly interrupted Catherine with a calm tone, "Mrs. Lawrence is right, the marriage has to be divorced sooner or later, it does not matter who comes to me to sign the papers. The name will only fall on me alone."
Catherine looked at Yanis, and then looked at Zane and asked him seriously, "Are you really going to divorce Yanis?"
"Mom, emotional matters can not be forced, Zane does not love Yanis, even if ......"
"You shut up!" Catherine sneered, "You know you can't force your way through a relationship, Zane left Yanis, you think you can't force your way through Neve?"
Mrs. Lawrence was momentarily struck by Catherine's dislike.
Catherine looked at Zane again, "Do you think you're really going to divorce Yanis?"
Edison also looked at Zane at this point, "You have to think clearly, once the marriage is divorced, there is no turning back."
"All this and you still don't leave? What do you take my brother for? Do you think he's an ingrate?"
As soon as Edison's words left her mouth, Phoebe's voice came from the doorway.
Phoebe changed her shoes in the foyer and walked into the living room, giving Yanis a contemptuous look, "You actually have the nerve to go into the Lawrence's Manson?"
Yanis looked up at Phoebe with a cold voice, "I'm a decent person, why can't I be in the Lawrence's Manson?"
If Phoebe hadn't posted the photo in the group, there wouldn't have been this incident tonight.
She didn't have to be interrogated like a prisoner by Mrs. Lawrence.
Phoebe didn't expect Yanis to have such an attitude and laughed coldly, "Yo, this is the first time I've seen a woman as shameless as you, you've been in a room with another man and you're still pretending to be pathetic? Who are you showing it to?"
"Yanis, you are shameless, my brother still wants it, so does the Lawrence family!"
Zane looked at Phoebe with a raised eyebrow, "Phoebe! She's still your sister-in-law!"
"Brother, are you out of your mind? You didn't see what happened tonight?" Phoebe looked at Zane incredulously.
"This is between Yanis and me, and we'll work it out ourselves."
Zane got up and stood up, pulling Yanis, who was sitting on the side, up, "Yanis, there's nothing going on with the guy tonight, there's nothing going on and we'll go back first."
"Zane, she has gone to a hotel room with a man, and you still don't want to get married?" Mrs. Lawrence looked at Zane and questioned.
"What kind of a mother wants her son to get a divorce?" Catherine said in a deep voice, "Not like that!"
"Mom, what curse has Yanis put on you that you are so biased towards Yanis?" Mrs. Lawrence couldn't think of anything else at this point.
After all, as soon as Zane divorces Yanis, Neve will be able to marry into the Lawrence family, and then the things that the Lawrence family is facing now will be solved.
Instead of divorcing the incomprehensible Mrs. Lawrence, Catherine looked at Zane and said, "Zane, if you divorce this marriage, you'll be the one who regrets it later!" Catherine got up and stood up, looked at Zane and said, "No matter what, Grandma only recognizes Yanis as her granddaughter-in-law, don't expect me to give her a good look!" "Grandma." Yanis shouted softly.
Catherine stepped forward and pulled Yanis' hand from Zane's, "If you want to go, you go yourself, Yanis stay here tonight, I'll see who dares to say anything!"
Said Catherine looked at Yanis, and said softly, "Come on, Grandma will accompany you to your room to rest!"
Yanis was going to say something, and Catherine shook her head at her without a trace.
Yanis swallowed the words that were on his lips.
After Yanis followed Catherine upstairs, Edison got up and went to his room in the living room.
There were only Mrs. Lawrence and Miller left, and Zane and Phoebe standing.
Phoebe glanced at Yanis, who was following Catherine upstairs, and said, adding to her frustration, "Auntie Lucia, look at her, she's so emboldened by her grandmother's love for her! She doesn't even put you in her eyes."
"Phoebe!" Zane shouted in a deep voice.
Phoebe is still more or less afraid of Zane, so after Zane's words, Phoebe just skimmed her lips and muttered, "If you like Yanis cheating, then you'll watch."
"Phoebe, how do you talk?" Mrs. Lawrence scolded softly.
Phoebe bristled, not daring to speak again.
