START OF HOLOGRAM RECORDED TRANSCRIPT...
Uhhh, hey. I’m calling this my crypto hash, hologram recording (holo-rec) number one on this old machine. Interesting, there appears to be a date stamp here that says September 17, 2096. But we don’t keep track of time, so I am unsure if that is accurate.
I come from Tech City, but I ran away because I wanted to find my mom. Her name is Ki-Yo, and Mayor Sye exiled her. I was helpless when Tiger (he’s the city’s Skypoe Chief) barged into our home, taking her away. She didn’t deserve to be exiled. I tried chasing after them, screaming that there was a mistake when they took her. But I got lost in the city’s foggy streets, my mother disappearing in a Skypoe cruiser and out of my sight.
Without her, I felt no reason to be in the city; all my love had gone. I wanted to get exiled myself, so I found a can of black spray paint and sprayed a black “X” on the city’s central statue of Mayor Sye. A Skypoe cruiser siren immediately screamed while Skypoe cruiser lights swirled around me. So, I made a mad dash and ran as fast as possible, right towards the enormous, massive main gates embedded in the city’s wall. Tiger was the one that chased me down; he snatched me up in his Skypoe cruiser right before the gate guards could laser tag me into unconsciousness.
I was kicking everywhere and yelling and screaming as loud as I could in the back of Tiger’s cruiser. But he pressed some button, and I was immediately tied up and held in restraints, my mouth covered to stop me from screaming. I didn’t care; I still tried to scream.
When I entered a small white square office inside the station, I saw Tiger sitting at a small grey desk. He asked me, “Do you know why you are here, little girl?” I said no. “You are here because you were defacing city property, which is against Tech City’s law, as ordered by Mayor Sye.”
I stood in front of his desk and stared silently at the ground. The floor rumbled with an earthquake. But Tiger ignored it and said, “Since your mother has been exiled with no relatives to look after you, I know a place where you can stay, and it’s not even a bad one.”
I yelled at him, “I want to be exiled too, with my mother. I don’t want to be here, you Skypuke!”
Tiger waved a hand to the guard to come and get me, “You’ll remember this one day.” But before I could say anything more, the giant guard shoved me back into my holding cell.
