Anna’s POV~

Walking into the dining hall for breakfast, I smiled at Lindsey. She looked happy…relaxed. I could feel her happiness. She laid her hand on top of mine and whispered “You are that little girl, aren’t you? The one who bit that boy’s fingers off?” I nodded…and she smiled “I am so sorry that happened to you…but too bad it wasn’t his dick” I choked on my eggs. I looked up to see Falcon laughing! He leaned and kissed me saying “I love you, bunny” I laughed.. “Bunny?” He nods and whispers “you keep going and going…..” then he laughs. I love this man!

I look across the table to see the demon sisters and asked them if they had been served lemons for breakfast…and Allison snaps “you just can’t help being a bitch, can you? You destroy my family and make jokes about it!” I laughed “First off…I didn’t destroy your family. You have dear old dad to thank for that! And it’s not destroyed at all. Your mom is happier than I have ever seen her. As for being a bitch…Nope…don’t wake up and think ‘Today…I will be a bitch’ ..you just bring it out in me” and I smile.

I ask Falcon “what did you decide to do about Robert?” He shrugs “Haven’t decided. Right now he’s in the cells…not sure what I’m going to do. He was in alliance with us…and made the conscious choice to betray that alliance.. I could just kill him. So see? Undecided” I look over at my aunt and ask how she’s doing with Marcus away and she smiles…”He calls me twice a day to make sure I’m okay. I’m good.” I nod…looking at Axel and ask him if he got ahold of Robert’s phone and he asks why? I tell him “We can hack it and get a tracker on Emmett’s phone number. He jumps up and runs out of the room.

I look at Falcon and say “I didn’t mean this second!” We laugh and he says he’s eager. Pete asks “Alpha, will you take a meeting with Lindsey and myself this morning?” Falcon nods…saying absolutely! So we all head to the office.. We get situated and I plug Robert’s phone into my laptop to run my program against it to hunt for Emmet’s cell.. Allison and Charlotte are sitting on the sofa ..whispering to each other. My ladies are decorating for our ceremonies on the full moon in three days. Falcon is waiting patiently for Pete to speak, when the phone rings. Falcon answers and hits speaker… “Go ahead, Marcus… you’re on speaker…I am here with the New Alpha and Luna.. so report. New alpha and Luna? Yes. Long story. Robert is in the cells. Okay..well…wow… I have spoken with two-thirds of the pack and no one can verify any attacks. That’s kind of what I figured. But do me a favor…hang back out of sight…I don’t care if you get your men motel rooms nearby…I’m wanting to test a theory..when Robert doesn’t call to check in with his brother. Brother? Again…long story dude! I am never leaving home again! Okay Marcus…call me if anything changes! I yell out “Love you Uncle Mark!” Love you too peanut..Marcus out!

Falcon asks “Peanut?” I giggle…”yeah…I don’t know why” I go back to tracking phone numbers and Falcon asks Pete “Why? Why did all of you lie?” Peter responds “I was under Alpha oath…if you noticed, I didn’t speak at all…It went against everything in me to play it this way! As it was..the only reason I was even still with the pack is Lindsey. My wolf wouldn’t let me leave her” I look up… “She marked you!! I can feel the power of the mantle settling! Congratulations! Soooo happy for you both!!” And Allison jumped up screaming “What??? Mother! How could you!? You whore!” And I stood up and slapped her! I growled “You have some fucking nerve! I can smell the scents of at least eight different men on you! One as fresh as last night…which means you fucked one of our men! And you have the audacity to call your mother a whore? That’s rich! You’re mother has been with two! The man who forced her into mating and her true mate! You’re just tripping balls because you know you’ve lost the mantle! Suck it up, buttercup! You aren’t worthy of Alpha! You are your father’s daughter! Now sit down and shut the fuck up before you are actually disowned and homeless you selfish twatwaffle!”

Brady laughs “Damn Luna! Tell us how you really feel!” and even Lindsey and Peter laugh! Peter says “Alpha Falcon…I would like to negotiate an alliance with Amber Mountain Pack…for trade, commerce…and warrior training. I am ushering our pack into a new era. There will be absolutely no contact with any Culver…and I will never permit any member of our pack to betray our alliance. Will you consider giving us a chance?” Falcon nods and replies “I have been in your mind, Peter. I know you to be an honest man! Brady…draft an alliance with…is the pack name remaining the same…Okay then …with Midnight Sierra Pack…Alpha Peter and Luna Lindsey Bridger… Now…let’s go to the cells…we have an alpha title to strip!” And I say “I wanna go….their family was ranked zeta so I want to watch him collapse in on himself! Lying sack of shit! How he ever convinced anyone he was Alpha is beyond me! Whimpering, whiny fool!” Falcon takes my hand laughing and asks “You okay baby?” And I shrug and laugh.

Walking into the jail…..I whispered..”There has to be a way to allow for air circulation, at least, the guards are breathing this in…..They shouldn’t have to smell this stench… every day. It’s almost like they’re being punished, too!” Falcon agreed and told me he would arrange it.

As we got closer to Robert’s cell…I could see how defeated he looked. If I didn’t know what his brother is capable of…and what he had done..I would feel sympathetic. As it was… although, he might not be evil to the core…he didn’t try and stop him…

Falcon stepped up to the cell and spoke “Robert, I don’t understand…We have known each other for years…I never took you for someone who would harbor criminals…exploit his own daughters..or abuse his mate.. You had risen above what your family had done…and you let your brother draw you in. Robert Culver…You are hereby stripped of any and all strength and rights of Alpha” and Robert dropped to his knees! I felt the power shift to Peter and we walked to the pack house together.

Peter turned to us “ My mate and I will be getting out of your hair. Did you want me to arrange transport for Robert to return to our pack? Essentially, he betrayed the alliance he had with you..but he betrayed our entire pack. And I plan to put him on trial for what he’s done” and Falcon agreed. It’s time to get him away from Anna
