His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 386

Fruitless.

He was brutally overpowered by the man.

He dashed into the house and burst into a room that screamed luxury.

Inside, a man with a cigar clenched between his teeth spun around, gripping a beer bottle. He looked up at the intruder, eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Who the hell are you? Barging into my turf like this?" One of his goons rushed in, breathless. "Rick, he's here for that woman."

"Got guts, I'll give you that," Ricardo said, flicking his fingers, signaling his men to back off.

"Where is she? Did you touch her? Give her to me" Bang!

Before he could finish, a cold beer bottle whizzed through the air and smashed onto his head.

As the bottle shattered, warmth spread instantly.

Blood trickled down from his forehead, quickly soaking his hair and dripping onto the floor, creating crimson splatters.

"Yelling in my place? Do you think this is a damn marketplace?" Ricardo's lips curled into a mocking grin.

He tossed the broken bottle aside and took a deep drag from his cigar.

Spinning around, he settled back into his chair. "Just a woman, why all this fuss? The girl's high, waiting for me. I'm in a good mood, so I'll treat her nicely."

"Did you touch her?" The man's voice was low and taut, like a bowstring about to snap.

Casper unclasped his Patek Philippe watch, slipping it onto his hand, teeth gritted as he advanced, grabbing Ricardo by the collar.

"I'm asking you, did you touch her?"

His eyes blazed with fury.

Bloodshot, he raised his fist, the watch glinting coldly on his knuckles.

"You... what are you to her...?"

Ricardo's swollen eyes burned with anger and mockery, his lips curling into a twisted, sinister smile.

"No woman leaves here untouched, you should know that."

His voice was raspy and menacing.

"So, what are you trying to say?" Casper seethed, teeth still clenched, ready to rip Ricardo apart. Ricardo laughed.

The sound was like it came from the depths of hell, dripping with malice and mockery.

The more he laughed, the harder Casper's fists flew, each punch delivered with unbridled force.

Under the barrage, Ricardo's face

"You better not have touched her, or I won't spare anyone here."

Casper harshly shoved Ricardo aside and stormed toward the bedroom, frantically searching for Eliza.

On a cramped sofa, he found her.

She was curled up like an abandoned doll, helpless and fragile like a tightly wound ball of yarn.

Her face was flushed, lips parched, eyes shut tight as if in a deep stupor.

"Val," he called softly.

No response.

Casper bent down, carefully picking up Eliza, and turned to leave.

Suddenly, Ricardo blocked his path, eyes glinting with malice. "You hit me, and think you can just walk away with her? Where do you think you are?"
