Chapter 345
Chapter 345
Timothy came to a hat and respectfully smiled. "How reckless Dupler wa You've chosen their people, and they deceived you. We'll ensure to pursue this matter."
It was no secret within Lupier's ranks that Xavier originally planned to assign this deal to Lily. However, they replaced her with Nadia
"Go ahead." Xavier raised his eyebrows and seemed satisfied
Timothy had a decent grasp of Xander's temperament after working with him for so long.
He suddenly remembered something just as he was about to leave. "Mr. Fulton, Mr. Shane has been asking about your schedule recently. He suggested for you to take some time to visit home!!
Shane and Tamara had called him and asked him to return home, but he had rejected them with work as an excuse.
Therefore, they called Timothy and tried to fit the plan into his schedule.
"Handle it as you see fit." Xaйeт no longer refused
It had been awhile since he returned to Fulton Manor. It was ever since the news of his divorce from Lily had reached the Fultontaily
Edith had berated him each time they met. She had suppressed her anger during her last visit to the company to talk to him about Lily.
He didn't do as she wished which further enraged her. It was time for him to check in on his family.
Timothy had arranged for him to return home that night, shane was informed in advance about his return before telling Edith about st
"What's he coming back for? Edith looked visibly worn out. "Is he coming back to see if I've dropped dead from anger yet?
"Mom, our children and grandchildren have their paths to walk. You stop worrying about his marriage. Although Shane shared her concerns, he felt Xavier should be lett to handle this matter by himself as a man.
He understood his son's nature all too well. The more they meddled, the more resistant Xanier became. It would only worsen the tension in his marriage.
Edith rubbed her forehead with her wrinkled hand. "What sin did I commit to have a useless son and a grandson who drives me mad?"
"Mom, Shane said helplessly. "Tamara and get along so well because we care about each other."
"Fine, you're all doing well. I'm the only one who isn't." Edith let out a long sigh before she lifted her thin blanket and stepped out of bed after a moment. "Aren't you heading out to bring something to your wife later? 1 Tgo to the kitchen and give them a few instructions."
Shane couldn't help but laugh. "You still care for your grandson. Don't worry. I called him back because I wanted to talk to him about the current situation and see how things are
Edith waved him off without another word. The mist rose halfway up the mountain on a cold winter at 7:00 pm, leaving a layer of water droplets on the car windows. Xavier's chiseled profilereflected on a single droplet, looking sharp and striking.
He parked the car neatly in the courtyard of Fulton Manor before opening the car door and stepping out of the car into the biting wind as he entered the "Xavier, you're back." Shane had just arrived home as well. He went upstairs to change into fresh clothes to shake o Xavier nodded. "Dad, GrandmL"
ske off the cold.

He nodded in acknowledgment and took off his coat which carried a chill from the outside. He hung it up and changed into slippers before stepping into the house. Edith rolled her eyes at him without saying anything before she got up and walked toward the dining room. "Grandma knew you were coming back and specifically asked the household staff from the kitchen to prepare your favorite dishes. Come on." Shane tried to ease the tension. The father and son entered the dining room only to find the table bare. There wasn't even the faintest aroma of food coming from the kitchen.
The household start was nowhere in sight. Edith emerged from the kitchen with a small covered plate in her hands.
"Mom, what are you.... Shune was puzzled
She placed the plate on the table and pushed it toward the two men, "Food. I made it myself."
Xavier's lips tightened as he walked forward to lift the lid. It was empty.
"Mom, Xavier rarely comes home. What are you doing? Shane disagreed with her overly rigid approach to discipline.
Edith feigned surprise. "The food 1 made is something any normal person would love and see with their eyes! Only the most ungrateful and underling people would fail to see it Are you guys.. unable to see it?!
Xavier pulled out a chair and sat down. He rested his fingers against his forehead and silently endured her pointed remarks.
