He Wants Me Back After the Divorce by Little Mermaid

Chapter 8

Chapter 8 He is Not My Son

Tammy’s large eyes blinked, her hand instinctively covering her mouth as her gaze wandered through the bustling crowd. “My mom is around here,” she said softly as she appeared to be weak. “She’s always tardy, so I can’t find her…”

Celia immediately turned around and hid herself behind a pillar.

It might not have dramatic consequences if she ran into Dominic right now. On the other hand. Celia knew that if Dominic connected Tammy’s age to her own circumstances, he would undoubtedly delve deeper into her identity.

The reason she came back to the country had nothing to do with the Dawsons. so she planned to leave as soon as she finished her work withing meeting him. She was convinced that avoiding any contact with Dominic was the best course

of action.

Tammy looked around but didn’t see anyone she recognized. “Sir. it appears that my mommy is gone,” she sobbed as she looked at the man through tears.

“What’s her name?”

“Linda.”

Celia went by that name when she was abroad.

Dominic didn’t give it much thought. He reasoned that because the airport had so many international flights and the girl was so cute, her mother had to be from another country.

He directed his subordinates to help the girl to find her mother.

“I’m getting hungry. Would you mind taking me to get some food?” Tammy

asked.

Dominic didn’t love to help others, but he couldn’t say no to a little girl who was pleading with him. “Alright,” he replied.

Carrying Tammy in his arms, he briskly walked away in front of all the

reporters.

Celia observed the scene, experiencing a mix of awkwardness and amusement. Aware of Tammy’s limited English proficiency, she knew the child might mistakenly refer to her by another name.

She texted Tammy to let her know that she should leave soon.
