Everything was grey, people walking uniformly like robots but human. She got pulled into the masses with the corner of her eye she saw them banging bloodily against the glass ripping each other apart. She stumbled back. Someone grabbed her from behind, she fought to get loose and fought to get free. She turned and it… he attached face front…
Awake, she hadn’t even realised that she had fallen asleep. Her light still on. She had never been a fan of the dark. She got up and walked out with a blanket round her shoulders, weird dream, she thought. It was scary silent. She opened the door and walked into the dark hallway. Jacobs room door was slightly open, the light still on. She walked across the hallway and pushed his door open silently. Walked in without looking at him. She turned to partially close the door as it was before.
His wings, she stood against the wall, “Jacob,” she mumbled. He stood up startled. “I thought you said you were more human?” she was scared.
“I am.” He withdrew his wings. He was shirtless. He scratched his head and walked toward the bed to get his shirt.
“Hopefully, I’ll wake up in a moment so don’t mind Me.” she said as she stumbled to his bed and lay down.
“Oh-kay,” he got back to fiddling with the gismo. Almost done… tired. He lay down beside and watched her sleep until he slept.
