Chapter SEBASTIAN - Look What I've Found
SEBASTIAN
Sebastian tugged Elsabet, clad in her cloak, beyond the foyer to the Dining Hall for more privacy. “Why did you come?”
“Does it matter?”
“I’ve been searching for you.”
“I know.”
“Is everything I’m hearing true?” He asked urgently.
Are you working with Radix? Why?
“Have you spent time with Savage Jack?” She changed the subject.
“Elsabet.” He reached for her shoulders, but she took a step back and he lifted his hands and slowly closed his fists in frustration.
Everytime she heard the door open, she stepped to the doorway to peer into the foyers.
She’s nervous.
But this time she stared from the Ballroom doorway to the foyer. “Where’s everyone else gone?”
“What do you mean?” He joined her in the doorway.
“There’s no one else here. We’re alone.”
They knew we were here. They left on purpose.
“Yes.” His eyes landed on her predatorially. “We are.”
“Sebastian.”
“Mmm…” He purred. Closing in on her. “I love it when you say my name.”
He pounced on her. Shielding the back of her head and her shoulders with his hands as he slammed her against the wall. His lips descending on hers ferociously. Kissing her until she was breathless.
“Sebastian…Please…”
“Please what, Elsabet?” He growled. Pressing against her to hold her in place as he leaned sideways, holding her gaze to see if she’d stop him. He tossed through her cloak and skirts until finding the smooth flesh of one knee. Trailing it up along the back of her curved thigh. Guiding it up the side of his leg until it hooked over his hip. He slid his hand from behind her head and rubbed his fingers tenderly down the side of her face as his tongue danced with hers.
His body was exploding in heat feeling her body planed against his. Unlacing his pants, he quickly joined with her. Then stopped.
She gasped. Tipping her head back and her eyes widening. Lush lips parting as her cheeks reddened with pleasure.
“I’ve missed you.” He leveraged her chin down with his to speak against her lips.
“You mean this?”
“Not in the least.” He shook his head methodically. “I’ll take this anytime you’d offer it, if it’s all I can have of you.”
Her brow furrowed in confusion. “But?”
“But I want more, Els.” He nuzzled her cheek. “To wake up with you and see the sun on your face. To see you happy, see you sad, and keep you safe during the nightmares you bring to life. I loved you too much to let you go but if its any consolation, I do see now how utterly selfish that was.”
He saw the tear trailing her cheek. He made love to her there against the wall. Slow and methodical despite his need. Trying to convey his affection, apologies and every other emotion he was feeling in that moment.
