“Are you having fun?” Ella asked. 

“It’s not bad. Let’s not come here next time. I’m not a kid anymore.” Jaden emphasized, causing Ella to smile inwardly. 

Clearly, he was looking forward to it Yet he pretended to be disinterested as if those exciting rides didn’t appeal to him. 

Ella sensed that he actually wanted to try those thrilling rides. Whenever they passed by, he would glance at them. 

She encouraged him, but he refused. 

Time passed quickly, and soon it was evening with water activities and a fireworks show. 

This amusement park was one of the few with fireworks. 

Brilliant fireworks soared into the sky and burst overhead in all colors, forming shapes of animals and even a pumpkin carriage. 

The firelight reflected on Jaden’s face, and he looked very serious. 

His long eyelashes fluttered, with a faint glint in his eyes.
