Chapter 32 

Grace felt empowered with Harry backing her up and was about to hit Ella. But then Ella pulled out a recorder. She had recorded all of Grace’s nasty words. 

Ella addressed everyone. “You all saw it, I didn’t provoke her. She came at me with her foul mouth. Oh, and she also said you all suck up to her” Hearing this. Grace’s followers glared at Grace and sided with Ella. 

Grace was suddenly at a loss. These people might not be as powerful as the Rhys Group, but they were sull from top–tier familles. And now she had offended them all. 

“Those recordings are fake! They’re doctored!” Grace tried to defend herself. 

“Should I get an expert to analyze them on the spot? Grace, ever since you framed me for pushing you down the stairs. I’ve been careful. I learned my lesson and bought several recorders. I carry them every day, especially around you. Not only that, I have recordings of all your aunts about me. I could post them online and let everyone see your true color. Ella pulled our a hard drive from her purse and handed it to Harry, who looked furious. “This has all her calls. You can pay me to take it, or let everyone know about your wife’s dirty deeds tomorrow.” 

“Everyone leave, this is a private matter. Harry, still rational, didn’t want to make the Rhys family a bigger joke. He dismissed the guests and glared at Ella, eyes filled with venom, like a rat in a gutter, wanting to kill and devour her. But she was unafraid. Things were already out in the open, and she had nothing to love. 

It wasn’t even Ella who started this. It was Grace being stupid, thinking she could keep winning after making Ella take a big fall over the kid before. She got careless and jumped at the chance to humiliate Ella again, but what happened? She ended up shooting herself in the food Harry, your wife is really stupid.” Ella mocked. 

“Ella, you’ve been playing me all along, haven’t you?! Acting all innocent and devoted, while actually waiting to catch my mistakes and ruin me.. You’re really vicious! Harry felt tricked, realizing she had been hiding her true intentions and now had him cornered. 

Ella didn’t respond, just gave a batter smile. In fact, she had truly wanted to marry him and spend her life with him, deceiving herself willingly and overlooking his repeated betrayals. But now, Harry called her a vicious woman! 

“Save it. I just want to know, are you going to buy this or not? There are dozens of recorded calls, plus your naked photos” 

“Naked photos?” Harry was stunned and immediately looked at Grace. 

“I blurred them!” Grace panicked. 

“Yes, you did, but I had someone restore them. I guarantee anyone who sees them will recognize you two Ella sneered 

“You… Harry glared at Grace, seething. Grace was an idiot, How could she share such intimate photos, even if blurred! 

Grace was now full of regret. She had only wanted to show off, and these photos were sent a long time ago. She thought if Ella wanted to use them, she would have done it already. So she got careless, never expecting it to become a sword hanging over her head. 

Grace panicked. “I was wrong, Harry, what do we do now?” 

Harry gritted his teeth. If it were just audio, he could manipulate public opinion, claiming it was fake. But photos were different. As long as his face was in them, there would be a massive scandal. Even if he claimed they were fake, the damage would be done. People believe rumors more than denials, and the photo would leave a lasting negative impression. 

“How much do you want?” Harry asked. 

“3 million dollars,” Ella replied. 

“Ella! How dare you!” 

“What do I have to be afraid of?” Ella raised an eyebrow. “You did so many bad things, and I can’t Make up your mind. If you don’t pay, one call from me and you two will be trending online, and not in a good way.” 

The reason she hadn’t used these photos earlier was that the expert needed time to restore them. Plus, these photos were sent to her a long time ago, and at first, she was too disgusted to look at them and didn’t save them. But eventually, she had her phone cleaned and recovered a few remaining photos, getting the blurred parts restored. She got them just yesterday, still fresh, 

Looking at these photos now, she felt different. The first time, she was heartbroken, pretending nothing had happened. Now, without any left for Harry, she saw them again and thought Harry’s body was mediocre and that Grace wasn’t even as pretty as she was. 

*Fine. I’ll give you the money. Give me the hard drive! I have to see if it’s worth it.” Harry reluctantly agreed to pay up.

“Sure thing. I have plenty of backups anyway. Take your time to enjoy it!” Ella retorted, then added sarcastically, “Oh, by the way, Grace cursed your deceased father and brother. She did a lot to get you where you are now,”

“Enough!” Harry’s face was dark. 

He took the hard drive and immediately went to check it on the computer. Grace gave Ella a vicious glare and hurried to follow him.

After waiting for like thirty minutes, Ella started bugging Harry with texts to send the money. Before long, he sent a guy million dollars. 

Ella was all smiles when she got it and headed off to find Marcus. When she walked in, he was sull glued to his screen. She gave him the money. saying, “This is for the classical vase. It was Harry’s cash, and she didn’t think twice about it. Holding onto this money too long would totally gross her out.. 

“Where’d the check come from?” 

“Harry’s,” she said casually. 

Marcus looked totally confused. 

“Mr. White, why’d you send me a classical vase?” She wasn’t explaining why Harry forked over the dough, just curious why Marcus was helping her 

But Jaden was distracted, her words spinning in his head. Why did Harry give her money? Had she already confessed, so this was child support? Or payment for the abortion” He pondered. 

“Mr. White? Mr. White?” Ella called a few times, but he wasn’t snapping out of it until Hank came over to remind him 

“Get out,” Jaden growled, his voice low and angry. 

“What’s wrong?” Ella was caught off guard. 

Just go! Don’t piss me off. The farther away, the better” 

“Ms. Willow, you should leave. Mr. White is not in a good mood,” Hank apologized 

Ella hurriedly slipped away, afraid of causing any more trouble. 

After seeing Ella off, Hank returned to Jaden’s side. He noticed Jaden hadn’t been acting like himself since they arrived at the auction room. There was a screen displaying surveillance footage of the entire auction At one point, the camera focused on Ella. Jaden couldn’t take his eyes off her. When he saw how much Ella wanted that classical vase, he insmediately ordered Hank to go downstairs and bid for it himself, despite his team already handling it. 

“Hank, if a woman breaks up with her ex, in what situation would she sull have a child with him?” Jaden rubbed his temples lightly, feeling tension and a headache coming on 

“She must still love him” Hank replied instinctively, then suddenly realized something. Could it be Ella was pregnant, and the child wasn’t Jaden’s? Hank wondered. 

“Cancel your vacation. You’ll be working overtime Jaden opened his eyes, his voice heavy and ominous. 

Ella felt strangely elated on her way back, but her mood sink immediately afterward. The doctor called and said her grandfather had been awake for longer periods. He had a request: he wanted her to bring Harry to visit him.
