Chapter 1464
They thought they'd see papers covered in red marks, but to their surprise, they were filled with ticks. There seemed to be quite a few correct answers. So why did Mr. Keaton look so troubled? The teachers, curious as cats, gathered around Keaton. Those who were friendly with him casually grabbed the test paper next to him.
Starting from the first question-
At first, he was grinning, and his grin grew wider with each question. But soon enough, his smile morphed into pure astonishment. He couldn't believe his eyes and went over the paper from start to finish again, then quickly reviewed the other papers, his face a canvas of disbelief and shock!
Seeing his reaction only fueled their curiosity. What was going on? Why were they all making such strange faces just from looking at a paper?
Unable to resist, a few teachers huddled together to peek at the paper, and then-
"Holy crap... How is this even possible!"
They couldn't help but blurt out.
Megan scoffed. Considering the misfits in class 19, scoring zero seemed more likely.
"Mr. Keaton, who's the genius behind this paper? It's absolutely mind-blowing!"
"Check out this last science question. I remember nobody in the whole grade could solve it last time,
right? His logical thinking is so sharp it's scary!"
Megan, still wearing a mocking grin, was caught off guard by what she heard. She stared in shock as the teachers circled Keaton, clutching the paper and gasping with amazement.
Suddenly, a wave of panic hit her. This wasn't what she had imagined at all.
"Nearly perfect scores in every subject!" One teacher flipped through the paper, eyes wide with
excitement, "Mr. Keaton, spill theret
beans, did you discover some prodigy? This is the diagnostic test you gave that genius, isn't it?"
Seeing this, Megan couldn't sit still. She jumped up from her seat and joined them, her curiosity getting the better of her.
She was so eager she snatched the paper right out of a teacher's hands, earning a disgruntled look. But Megan didn't care. She stared at the paper covered in correct answers, her mind buzzing.
How could this be...
Keaton was still reeling from the shock, and when he heard this, he swallowed hard, "It's a diagnostic test, but..."
It wasn't some prodigy from out of nowhere; it was Tyler, the one everyone underestimated, who had nailed it!
"Mr. Keaton, that's not really fair!" Megan cut him off before he could finish. She looked at Keaton, urgency in her voice, "I was wondering why you'd take in a
struggling student like Tyler
Turns
out, you had a diamond in the rough! With such a stellar student, you wouldn't mind taking on a struggling one. Plus, you even impressed Mr. Garcia, earning his praise."
Keaton's face darkened.
Megan ignored his expression and continued, "But a student this good shouldn't be in class 19, you're holding him back. Since you have such a gifted student, you should share him with us."
In
They prided themselves on being the best teachers. With their guidance, this student could very well become the top scholar in the state next year. Being the teacher of the state's top scholar was a huge badge of honor!
Sharing this student with them? Keaton looked at Megan's self-righteous face and couldn't help but burst into laughter.
