What on earth is going on?

Keaton was absolutely livid, and if it weren't for Megan being a woman, him being a dedicated public school teacher, and Tyler standing right there, he might've just blown his top and let loose with a string of curses!

"Tyler, don't let her words get to you!"

Even though Keaton was fuming, he made sure to turn back and reassure Tyler, worried that Megan's harsh words might leave a mark on his young mind.

"You had to leave middle school for some reasons, and that's not on you. The fact that you've got the guts to come back to school just shows how incredible you are." He spoke earnestly, "But now that you're back, let's buckle down in class, pay attention, and steer clear of the troublemakers, okay? If something's bothering you or if someone's giving you a hard time, just come to me. Don't keep it bottled up." Getting used to a new place can really bring on the blues.

Plus, the kids in his class weren't exactly the easiest bunch.

Tyler, who'd been standing there kind of slouched, gradually straightened up. He looked at Keaton and gave a quiet nod.

"Yeah."

"It's all good." Keaton gave his shoulder a reassuring pat. "It's no biggie. The more folks underestimate us, the harder we'll work to prove them wrong. Heck, you might just be a genius, and I've hit the jackpot!" After Keaton had comforted him a bit, and saw that Tyler seemed to be perking up, he led him to Class 19. "Class is about to start. You head in, and during the second period, which is study hall, I'll get you a test paper to see where you're at."

"Yeah."

Tyler nodded once again.

When Keaton and Tyler reached Class 19, the bell hadn't rung yet, and the teacher wasn't there. "The guys in this class are a bunch of rascals. They're not bad kids, just a bit wild. So, try not to get caught up in their antics."

As they made their way to the corner of the hallway, with Class 19 just around the bend, Keaton continued, "There's this kid named Nash. He's a real character, the wild type, kind of the big boss of the class, and pretty intimidating. Do your best not to tick him off, alright? And then there's a girl named Fiona, she's the "

"Fiona! You're amazing! Fiona, you rock!"

"Flora's incredible! Haha!"

"Come on, let's see some action! Go for it!"

He had barely finished his sentence when a loud burst of cheers and screams erupted from the Class 19 classroom!

Keaton's face fell, thinking it was Nash and his crew causing a ruckus again. He barged in, boiling with anger-

And then he saw the scene that nearly knocked his socks off!

being really well-behaved, but there she was, sitting all cool and collected While everyone else was seated in their chairs, she was perched on the backrests of two chairs, legs apart and resting naturally on the seats.

Standing out a mile from the crowd, she's the first thing he saw!

In her left hand, she held a smartphone, still on a game screen.

With her right hand, she held a pen between her middle and index

fingers, mimicking smoking net

air of defiance and mischief from

head to toe.

Opposite her sat Nash.

Nash was looking down at his phone's now dark game screen, his face a picture of defeat.

But he was a good sport about losing the bet, leaning in to let Fiona draw a massive turtle on his face! "What on earth are you all doing!"

Keaton let out a scream that could rival any banshee's!
