Chapter CHAPTER 362
Chapter 362
She spoke with such confidence and determination that you couldn’t help but believe every word she said.
Eilies was a bit moved. Had she really misunderstood her?
Jillian continued, “Professor Thompson, I’m completely innocent. Go ahead, call the campus police and have them investigate me!”
The counselor had always liked Jillian and found it hard to believe she had anything to do with it.
Jillian’s record was spotless. Coming from a family of military doctors, she had always been a top student and a young medical prodigy, already participating in numerous surgeries.
If it weren’t for Flora suddenly showing up at the

The counselor asked, “Flora, think carefully. Could anyone else have tampered with your speech?”
Cynthia was straightforward and didn’t seem like the type to plot schemes, and Eilies didn’t seem likely either.
But they had to find the culprit.
Flora slowly turned her gaze to Jillian, with a meaningful look.
Just as she was about to speak, Cynthia suddenly slapped her thigh in excitement and said, “Counselor, I know who it was! It must have been Odelia!”
The counselor looked puzzled; Odelia was from the Fashion Design Institute and she didn’t know her.
Cynthia quickly explained the history between Odelia and Flora: “Odelia was always jealous of Flora. Back at the military base, she did all sorts of things to target Flora, even put needles in her shoes! Later, Flora got back at her with itching powder. Odelia must have been holding a grudge and waited for a chance to get back at Flora, hoping to embarrass her at the ceremony!”
Cynthia’s reasoning made some sense.
The night before, Odelia had been to their dorm.
Cynthia hadn’t liked her from the start but didn’t say anything because they were classmates.
After Odelia’s visit, the speech went missing–too much of a coincidence!
“Flora, is what Cynthia said true? Did Odelia give you a hard time at the military base?” the counselor asked curiously.
With a serious tone, the counselor asked Flora, who nodded solemnly. The counselor then quickly called the Fashion Design Institute.

Fifteen minutes later, Odelia and her counselor, Daria, rushed into the office.
“Odelia, tell us the truth. Do you have anything to do with the speech?”

Odelia had a bad feeling the moment she was called in. Hearing the counselor’s question, her heart skipped a beat.
It was indeed about the speech.
She insisted it had nothing to do with her: “Yes, I did go to Flora’s dorm, but I had nothing to do with the speech being switched! Just because she didn’t take care of her speech doesn’t mean she can blame me!”
If this escalated, it would become an issue between two departments.
Without solid proof that Odelia was the one who switched the speech, the counselor was at a loss.
The situation hit a deadlock and became tricky to handle.
Flora suddenly said, “Professor Thompson, let’s search Odelia’s room. If she switched the speech, it should still be there.” “Flora, are you out of your mind?” Cynthia quickly pulled Flora aside, anxious.
Anyone who switched the speech would have destroyed it by now.
Flora’s suggestion to search the dorm, if it led to nothing, would surely be used by Odelia for a counter–attack.

Eilies also gave Flora a puzzled look, not understanding why she would suggest such a thing.
But they didn’t notice that at the mention of a dorm search, Odelia’s face turned panicked.
The counselors made a quick decision and led a team to Odelia’s dorm.
Inside, three roommates were lying on their beds. The sudden influx of people startled them, and they were confused about what was happening.
