Chapter 74
Chapter 74 A Fight
“What kind of competition method?” Felicity was not interested in competition, but she was intrigued by Startak Gaming.
Zora continued, “Startak Gaming project had a significant investment. Therefore, we needed a comprehensive and feasible tax–saving plan. To give new people an opportunity, the company assigned two people to work together on a tax- saving plan. The company initially screened five groups to be considered by Startak Gaming. Regardless of which one is chosen, the company will provide an additional reward of 16 thousand dollars to each group.”
Felicity immediately said, “Then I will be in a group with Camila.”
Zora glanced at Camila. In fact, she hoped that Camila could find someone with more experience to pair up with. This way, the chances of success would be higher.
Camila laughed and said, “Aren’t you afraid that I would bring you trouble?”
“I believe you’ll be fine,” Felicity hugged Camila’s neck and whispered in her ear, “The bonus will be yours. Just get me into the project team.”
Camila was at a loss. She had no certainty of victory.
The grouping was finally completed. The deadline was one week.

When Camila was packing up to leave work, she was called into the office by Zora.
“How come you’ve been getting so close to Felicity lately?” Zora asked bluntly as she opened the door.
“We probably joined the company at the same time and got along well.”
“Do you know her identity? Her father is the chairman of the famous jewelry company named Felicity Jewelry. She is a true second–generation wealthy. She is here just to pass the time out of boredom. Mr. Conner said that whether she comes to work or not, she still gets paid. So, don’t you understand yet? You are not on the same level as her. Getting too close to her will only harm you and bring no benefits.” Zora said seriously.
Camila knew a little about Felicity’s background, but she didn’t think it would hinder her from being friends with Felicity.
“I didn’t quite understand.”
Zora was somewhat frustrated with the lack of progress.
“Someone like Felicity was the most hated person in the company. But Felicity didn’t care. She had connections and money. But what do you have? Being with her would only make others transfer their envy, jealousy, and hatred onto you.”
Camila sighed.
“I seemed to understand what you meant.”

she would be criticized for being friends with Felicity. How idle were these people?
“Do you really understand?” Zora felt that Camila seemed to understand, but Camila didn’t care.
Camila was the kind of person who appeared gentle on the outside but had a strong–willed nature within. She only stuck to what she believed was right and didn’t care much about others‘ opinions.
“I understand. Thank you,” Camila knew that Zora had good intentions for her. But she felt that she and Felicity were just ordinary friends. They couldn’t be considered close friends. She didn’t need to overthink it.
Finally, Zora had no choice. She had to remind Camila to take this competition seriously, because Camila had the
opportunity to collaborate with Startak Gaming and prove her abilities to others.
Camila left the office building and saw Felicity waiting for her.
“Zora spoke ill of me to you again, didn’t she?” Felicity is a straightforward person.
“No. She just reminded me to take this competition seriously.”
“I thought she didn’t want you to be in the same group as me,” Felicity seemed to know a lot. “After all, I didn’t do well. I would have held you back.”
“Don’t say that. I’m not that great either. There are many things I still need to learn from you.”
“What do I have that is worth learning from?”

“I think you are very good at dealing with people. You know what to say to different people. I can’t do that. I am really bad at this aspect.”
“But you have strong business skills. Seriously, how confident are you?” Felicity asked.
“I’m not sure,” Camila shrugged. “But if I have your help, maybe I can give it a try.”
“What can I do?” Although Felicity studied economics at Louiswick, she was not actually proficient in the financial
aspect.
“You helped me gather information. All the information about Startak Gaming project. The more detailed, the better.”
Felicity laughed as soon as she heard it.
“It’s a piece of cake. I’ll take care of this matter.”

After saying goodbye to Felicity, Camila arrived at the hospital.
Because Gideon had changed rooms, Camila took a while to
find him.
The caregiver was not there. Camila entered the ward and coincidentally encountered the nurse delivering meals.
She arranged the food, placed a napkin around Gideon, and started feeding him.
Not long after, the nurse arrived. Svetla followed behind her.

“Camila, how did you come here?” Svetla asked.
Camila ignored her.
“I was talking to you. Are you deaf?” Svetla came over and tried to snatch the bowl from Camila’s hand.
Camila angrily put down the bowl.
“Didn’t you see me feeding him?”
“Hey, there’s no camera here again. What are you pretending? Why did you tell Maxwell that I talked to you yesterday?”
“It’s my business whether I tell him or not. It’s none of your concern,” Camila said, refusing to indulge Svetla any longer. The thought of her brother’s leg ignited an uncontrollable anger within her.
“Hey, you have a bad temper. Do you know what you are? A country bumpkin. How dare you be so arrogant! Let me tell you, as long as I lift a finger, I’ll make you leave.”
Camila was trembling with anger.
Gideon picked up a roll of toilet paper from the table and threw it at Svetla, hitting her forehead directly.
“Gideon!” Camila didn’t expect Gideon to be so protective of her.
However, Svetla was annoyed. Although it didn’t hurt, she couldn’t help but feel angry when she saw Gideon protecting Camila so much.
“You old bastard. How dare you hit me?” Svetla swung her bag and smashed it towards Gideon’s head.

Camila quickly blocked with her body. Immediately, her hair was forcefully pulled by Svetla. It hurt so much that her scalp went numb.
“Stop!” Suddenly, a stern voice rang out at the door.
Immediately after, the door to the ward was kicked open.
Svetla let go. Camila fell to the ground.
As she turned around, she saw an angry Maxwell walking in.
Maxwell pulled Camila up from the ground. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” Camila said as she rubbed her sore scalp, feeling as if some hair had been pulled out.
“Svetla, what’s gotten into you?” Maxwell exclaimed angrily. “This is my grandfather’s hospital room, not your home. If you want to throw a tantrum, go back home. You’re not welcome here. Just leave.”
“Maxwell, you’re kicking me out for this woman?” Svetla didn’t expect Maxwell to be at the door. Otherwise, she would rather let Camila hit her than lay a hand on Camila.
“This woman? Camila is my wife. Show some respect to her at least. Hasn’t my uncle taught you the most basic manners?”
