Chapter 5 - Storm
As I watch in disbelief, he suddenly rips off his clothes and stands naked before me. My heart races as I try to avoid being noticed by him as he dives into the water. From beneath the surface, I gaze up at him, marveling at the way he moves through the water with ease. I can’t help but notice the appendage dangling between his legs, and it sends a jolt of excitement through me. My skin tingles, and I’m filled with a new sensation that I can’t quite describe. I’m lost in the moment, captivated by this man and the raw energy he exudes.
I swim underneath him and pop up on the other side of him, before I duck under out of sight and swim deep. I need to gather my thoughts about what is happening here and how this stranger is affecting me.
I get this strange feeling and as I twist whilst swimming; I catch him staring under the water at me. The scales on my body fade on my top half as excitement fills me.
As he gracefully glides to the side, the sound of the water rippling around him fills my ears. My heart skips a beat as I realize he’s moving away from me. Panic sets in as I watch him prepare to leave the water. I quickly dart in front of him, my heart pounding in my chest as I come face to face with him. His eyes widen in surprise, and I can feel the warmth of his breath on my skin as his mouth falls open in shock.
“Hi,” I whisper, afraid of scaring him away.
His body goes rigid, as if my greeting has struck him like a bolt of lightning. I watch him sink down, his eyes wide with disbelief, and I wonder if he’s ever seen anything like me before. Did he really think mermaids were just a myth?
With a sudden realization, I understand that the shock has effectively shut down his brain functions. Without hesitation, I dive deep into the water and wrap my arms around his body, feeling the weight of his muscular form pressing against me. My powerful fin propels us back up towards the surface, the sound of rushing water filling my ears as we ascend. As I break through the surface, he gasps for air while still clinging to me.
He gazes into my eyes, and I blush. Part of his lower appendage is growing, and it sends an unbelievable sensation through my scales where, If I were human, it would be the gap between my legs. I’ve never been in close contact with a human before, so I don’t know how my body will react.
“You… You’re a mermaid?” he gulps and his eyes trail down.
Where scales once covered my breast, they are now exposed as soft flesh. My nipples tighten into buds as they press against his well-defined chest. My fin flaps below us, keeping us afloat.
His erection is hard against me, and he slips out a groan.
“My name is Storm,” I whisper.
His eyes roll back in his head and he shudders against me before blacking out. I twist him and hold his back against me so I can rest his weight on my chest and pull him backwards.
Inside the caves, there are rocky outcroppings where I can perch and rest on the cool stone beneath me. The sound of dripping water echoes through the cavern, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The water still laps at my fins, reminding me of my aquatic home. As I sit here, I can’t help but wonder what it would feel like to leave the water and experience the unknown world beyond.
As you step inside the cave, the sun’s rays reflect off the walls, casting a warm glow that fills the space. The light dances across the rocks, creating intriguing shadows that seem to move with every breath you take. Echoes bounce softly against the walls, creating a mystical atmosphere that feels both enchanting and eerie. The caves go deeper and darker the further you venture in.
I pull him into the shallow water and rest his head on my arm. I take my time to go over his features, and bite my lip as his hard member is still active. It bobs in the water and I find it amusing.
I’ve never seen a man close up before. His delicious pink lips are full and willing me to kiss them. Now all the dirt is off his features and is softer than I first saw. Apart from his manhood bobbing about in the water, I’m amazed at the thickness in his thighs. I run my fingers over his stomach and over all the bumps he has formed there. The water barely covers him and every part of him is delicious.
My heart races like a stampeding herd of wild horses. Every beat pounds against my chest like a drum. A tingling sensation spreads from the tips of my toes to the crown of my head, making every hair on my body stand on end. A burst of energy explodes inside of me, sending shockwaves through my veins. The heat rises from within me, making my skin feel like it’s on fire. I shake uncontrollably, as if caught in a violent thunderstorm.
His eyes snap open and he sits bolt upright as if I had just shocked him. His hand flies up and knocks me backwards simultaneously and I fall to the side of him.
He scrambles away from me and stares at me from a distance. His gaze travels up my body from my fin all the way up to my breasts.
“Er, who are you?” He tears his gaze off my eager nipples, which are hard pebbles begging for his touch.
“I told you, my name is Storm. What’s yours?” I try to relax, but it is hard when every part of my body is aching to be touched by him.
“Richard. What is this place?” Taking a moment to survey our surroundings, he scans the cave with his piercing gaze before returning his intense stare to my face. The sound of dripping water echoes off the rocky walls, forming a steady beat that reverberates through the cavern.
“This oasis is not just a mere location, but a place where I am destined to be for a particular purpose.”
“Am I in some sort of in between place?” He furrows his brow.
I slide back into the water, and he watches me. My fiery red hair flows behind me as I flip and twist in the water, diving, then powering myself up and in front of him.
As I kneel before him, I run my hands up his taut, muscular legs, feeling the texture of his skin and hair against my fingertips. The sound of his sharp intake of air fills the cavern, and he clasps a hand over his manhood. I catch a whiff of his musky scent. “Do I feel real?” I ask, gazing up at him with a mischievous smile. “No need to be shy,” I add, my voice barely above a whisper. “I’ve had a good look at it.” He blushes, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red.
The lower part of my body is a unique and beautiful spectacle, with its iridescent green scales that glisten and shimmer in the light. This sets it apart from the rest of my body. As I expose my top half before him, the scales seem to disappear as if by magic, revealing my natural skin. My breasts are now on full display, inviting his gaze to linger on them. I watch as he takes in the sight before him, his eyes flickering with a mix of desire and awe. I move closer to him, taunting him with my body, and the cool, smooth scales on my lower half brush against his feet. The air is thick with anticipation, and I can feel the heat rising between us.
“I better check on my horses,” he goes to move, but clashes with me and we fall into the water.
His body flails around in the water as he tries to swim as fast as he can away from me. I swim underneath him and glide up with ease.
“Are you scared of me?”
He stops swimming and treads the water, staring at me. “You’re not real. I’m seeing things. It is the heat that made me this way.” He splutters and looks terrified.
“You came to me. Fate brought you here for a reason.” I swim around him. “What would make you believe I was real?”
“How can this place even exist while the world outside is slowly collapsing under the weight of scorching heat and relentless destruction? The world is dying out there.” He chokes up, his eyes brimming with tears as he tries to suppress the anguish raging in his heart.
“I am unaware of the subject you are referring to. This place is an oasis of serenity, where the air is crisp and the scent of blooming flowers lingers in the breeze. The sounds of birds singing and leaves rustling in the gentle wind create a symphony of peacefulness. Where the sunshine warms your skin and the soft grass is lush green, everlasting and comforting.”
We reach the side where he once undressed. All his clothes are dusty in a pile. He seems to think over my words, and before he has a chance, I flip my fin and grab his clothes in my hands.
“Hey!” he shouts and tries to snatch them back.
I dive under the water and swim down, smiling to myself. They need a clean anyway. With a quick flip of my tail, I use it to beat the clothes and then I gather them up to take back up to the surface. A rather angry looking cowboy greets me as I surface.
“You had no right to touch my things.”
“They were dirty. I was trying to help. If you hang them by the tree there, they will be dry soon.”
As I catch his gaze, I notice the way his eyes narrow and his eyebrows furrow, sending shivers down my spine. His breaths come out in short, sharp bursts, and his jaw clenches as if he’s struggling to hold back his anger. The tension is palpable, and I can feel my heart rate quickening. Despite his obvious anger, there’s a hint of confusion in his expression, almost as if he’s struggling to make sense of what has just happened. And then, as if to add to the already tense situation, I notice he is holding himself. The realization hits me like a ton of bricks - he’s turned on.
My cheeks flush with a warm sensation as I contemplate the possibilities of what that could do to me if I were human. Would he emit a pleasurable sound if I were to touch it? I grasp an understanding of what humans do, but the idea of seeing and experiencing it is another matter entirely. The scent of his skin is intoxicating, and the sound of his breaths deepening with each passing moment only adds to my growing curiosity.
As he picks up the pile of wet clothes, he throws me an awkward glance, his eyes darting away quickly. He turns his back to me, and I watch his movements as he hangs up the clothes, admiring the way his muscles flex and tense with each movement. A small chuckle eludes me at the whiteness of his ass cheeks.
When he is done, he grabs his hat and holds it in front of him, turning back to me. His eyes light up when he spots the fruit trees on the other side.
“Are you hungry?” I ask him.
I lay on my back, feeling weightless as I float in the water. The sun beats down on my skin, warming me from the inside out. Or maybe it is him? My hair spreads out around me in a tangled halo of fire. His eyes fix on me, filling with a heated intensity that I can feel even from here. The water laps gently at my skin, creating a soothing soundtrack that lulls me into a relaxing state.
My cowboy stands, his hat in his hand covering his modesty and not giving anything away. “Are you afraid of me?” I swim up to the edge.
His skin prickles and all his hairs on his arms stand on end. When red creeps over his cheeks again, he gulps. “I’m not afraid of you,” his voice and eyes lie.
“Tell me the truth, Richard,” I purr.
His fingers clench around the hat, and he inhales sharply, holding his breath. He grits his teeth, his confusion clear in the furrow of his brow. “I should be grieving the death of my father,” he says, his voice strained and heavy with emotion. “Yet here I am talking to a mermaid, and...” His voice trails off.
“And what? Richard.”
