Finding Them

When Eddie arrived home from school he saw the twins sitting with Uncle Bill doing some small wooden puzzles quietly while Daniel was sound asleep on the couch. Eddie chuckled at the sight of his father and snapped a photo wanting to tease the old man later with it. "Sssh" Darcy scolded her older brother not wanting to wake Addy up. Uncle Bill had told the twins that Addy needed some sleep as he was tired and old. Eddie raised his hands in surrender before heading to the kitchen to grab some food.

Eddie returned with food for the twins as well as they hadn't eaten a lot while sick. He cut up some fruit for them and placed it on the coffee table. "Uncle Bill, how did you get the twins to play with you? They don't take to people easily" Eddie asked his uncle just as Hunter got home. Hunter looked to see his uncle playing with the twins while his dad slept. Hunter took photos of them playing and listened in on the conversation. "Daniel fell asleep after the twins told him they loved him and they were hungry and bored. We got some food and then started playing with the puzzles. Red here liked me so the twins did too" Bill told Eddie confidently. "And besides the old man needed sleep" Bill added causing Hunter to laugh and alerting them all to his arrival.

"Sssh" Dakota bit out "You will wake the old man" he added. "Who is an old man?" Daniel asked causing Eddie and Hunter to chuckle. "Addy sleeping old man" Darcy chirped out. Daniel smiled at his daughter "Who taught you that princess?" Daniel asked. "Buck" Darcy told Addy happily. Daniel looked at Bill who shrugged his shoulders trying to stop the smirk on his face. "Who is Buck?" Asked Eddie. "Buck" Darcy said while Dakota and Darcy pointed to Uncle Bill looking at Eddie like he was an idiot. "He is older than me" Daniel defended himself. Darcy shook her head, Addy was the one that slept while Buck played with them and gave them food. "That's it, princess, I'm getting the tickle monster" Daniel called out.

Darcy was feeling a lot better and squealed standing up and looking for somewhere to run. Dakota was smiling he liked the tickle monster coming after Cc just not him. He loved to hear his sister laugh. Daniel stood up smiling at Darcy who was watching Addy while smiling. Daniel quickly began making his way over to Darcy ready to tickle her while she tried to hide somewhere. Darcy ran behind Buck and crouched down so she couldn't be seen. "Cc gone" Darcy called out. Everyone but Dakota was laughing at her, he was worried she was gone and Daniel noticed he looked scared. "Hey Dakota come help me find Darcy" Daniel said taking his youngest son's hand.

Daniel made a show of looking for Darcy looking behind the lounge, under the coffee table, and checking behind Dakota "Oh no where is my princess?" Daniel called out. Darcy was giggling behind Uncle Bill thinking she was hidden from everyone. When Daniel noticed that Dakota wasn't coping with not knowing where Darcy was he made his way over to Bill who had a smile on his face. "Look we found her. Let's get her Dakota" Daniel stated. Darcy squealed again while Dakota looked relieved but saw his sister smiling and giggling. "We have to catch her now Kota" Daniel said before going to chase his princess who started to run away. Dakota was laughing and running after Darcy just as Mitchell and Jamie walked into the house.

Darcy ran towards Mitchell squealing and laughing trying to get away from Addy and Kota. "Mitty tinkle monta, up" Darcy called to her biggest brother who scooped Darcy up saving her from Dakota and Addy. Dakota stomped his foot, he wanted to continue to chase his sister and hear her laugh, this in turn caused Jamie to laugh at his baby brother. "Come on bud I'll pick you up and we can chase Darcy" Jamie said putting his arms out for Dakota. Dakota nodded his head smiling and Jamie scooped up his brother. "Oh no princess we have to run" Mitchell called out and started to run towards the outdoors so nothing for broken in the house. Jamie took off after Mitchell with Dakota and Darcy squealing and laughing. The entire family was outside watching the twins. It was great seeing the twins happy again when they had been sick and miserable.

After 20 minutes of running Mitchell and Jamie were exhausted. They too hadn't slept while the twins were sick wanting to be there for their father. "Come on, let's get a drink" Mitchell called out earning a nod from Jamie. Darcy pouted, she wanted to keep playing. She wasn't tired at all and she didn't need a drink. "Old man," Darcy said while pouting. Dakota nodded his head agreeing with his sister and crossing his arms over his chest. Hunter and Eddie laughed so hard at what the twins had said. The twins didn't even know what it meant but that's how the game started and the twins didn't want the game to end. Daniel chuckled "Now who is being called old?" He teased his sons. "Says the guy who was sleeping on the couch an hour ago" Eddie laughed.

That's all it took, Daniel took off after Eddie and tackled him to the ground. "I'll show you old" Daniel called out beginning to tickle Eddie who was extremely ticklish. Darcy and Dakota were watching on. Dakota was smiling while Darcy was trying to get out of Mitchell's arms, she wanted to be involved. Mitchell put Darcy on the ground and she ran to tickle Eddie with her dad who was laughing and rolling around the grass. "Me too, me too" Darcy called out. Bill headed towards Darcy ready to tickle her as well. Bill began to tickle her tummy causing Darcy to laugh and start running around. She liked being tickled but she also liked to be chased she discovered today.

Dakota wiggled in Jamie's arms. Jamie put Dakota down who took off towards Darcy wanting to chase her and tickle her some more. He liked chasing too. Eddie managed to get up taking hold of Darcy's hand "Run princess the tickle monsters are coming" Eddie called out while they ran around the yard. Everyone was laughing and having fun. Bill was enjoying his time with his family and couldn't wait to spend more time like this with his youngest nephew and niece.
