Fight for Me

Chapter Soon?

As she’s walking down one of the halls, she sees a certain tanned and curly haired man leaning against the wall, deep in thought.

As if sensing her presence, he instantly looks her way, and gives a gorgeous pearly-white smile, like some excited child.

She pulls her eyes from him and continues down the hall.

Just as she walks past him, he steps in front of her, blocking her way.

“Hey gorgeous.” He says with that perfect smile.

He can’t help but admire her figure, which only has her rolling her eyes.

“It’s Rebecca.” She says with attitude.

“I know.”

Mike slips his hands into his jean pockets, trying to focus on her face, her eyes. If he spent a second longer staring at her body, he knew his hands would find their way around her. He can’t help but wonder, what she would have done though, had he done it. The possibilities excite him.

But his growing confidence is irritating her. Rebecca knows she’s attractive. Whenever she walks into a room, more than two thirds of the people would be looking at her. And that would be men and women. But it’s the cocky ones that always infuriate her. They always approach her like she’s easy prey. Something her wolf does not stand for.

She folds her arms, not realizing she’s tempting him to admire the spilling swells of her breasts.

He clenches his jaw, as he gives in to peeking at her chest.

“Can you not look at me like I’m some piece of meat. If you’re that hungry you won’t have to wait for long. Dinner will be soon.”

Before she can even think of sidestepping him, she freezes in her spot hearing his response.

“I’d rather have you for dinner.” He can’t help but bite his lower lip.

Hearing her breath hitch, he instantly realizes, - he just said that out loud.

Shit. Oh well. Too late to take it back now.

He knows he’s too outspoken, but he can’t help admit his attraction to her.

She starts thinking to herself. This prick. He’s just a player. And too much of a proud one.

But before she can tell him off, she thinks back to her previous talk with Nick. They are guests here. She can’t risk making a scene here.

She speaks hesitantly but looks him straight in the eyes. “It’s disrespectful of you to speak to me that way. I will be the next Luna of this pack soon.”

But just looking at her challenging gaze, he can feel his jeans suddenly feeling tighter. Everything about this woman is pulling him towards her.

“Soon? If you were mine, I wouldn’t let you wait a second longer to put my mark on you.”

“What?”

She can’t help but feel agitated. She knows that the cocky ones are also the thick-headed ones. Never listening and just speaking their mind in hopes of getting what they want.

Mike suddenly purrs as he gets a hint of her scent. But the purr is so low and deep, it sends an unexpectant quiver running through her. She clenches her thighs and notices him give a victorious smirk.

She scoffs as she walks around him. But before she continues down the hall, she partly turns back towards him with an indifferent expression.

“I hope you got your fill on my scent, coz you’ll never get a taste. It’s reserved for someone else.” She ends off with a smirk and walks off, giving him full view of her figure walking away.

He growls lowly, with anger and excitement.

Just as her figure disappears around the corner, he finally pulls his hands from their pockets, and pulls on the jean, trying to ease the tension.

She’s the one. I just have to be patient with her. But, fuck! I don’t know how long I’ll be able to hold out.
