Chapter 767 Get You Another Endorsement
He told Skylar to toss the medication into the trash can.
Skylar hesitated to discard the pills. "I've been struggling with sleep issues and constant overthinking lately. Is it really not advisable for me to take these pills?"
Tobias asked, "First, tell me why you've been feeling moody. Why would you take these pills when you're not ill? Toss them away."
Hearing that, Skylar obediently toss the pills into the trash can.
After that, Tobias picked her up and brought her to the bed. Spreading her legs, he leaned nearer to her and brushed his rough palm on her thigh. "Let me do something to make you happy. Don't take medication that might deteriorate your health, okay?"
Skylar shuddered uncontrollably as her pants were forcefully taken off by Tobias, causing her skin to be exposed to the air.
She shot Tobias a pleading look. Exhausted from today's events, she hoped Tobias could spare her tonight.
Tobias' wet fingers unbuckled his belt as he pulled it out slowly and discarded it at the end of the bed.
His voice was hoarse as he commented, "Your body has always been sensitive. My fingers are getting wrinkly."
He told Skylar to get up to help him take off his pants. Skylar propped up from the bed and swiftly unzipped his pants, pulling them down.
"Lie in the middle of the bed. You'll roll off the bed if you stay at the side," Tobias told her. He knelt on the bed as he found her the most suitable position.
There was no foreplay, and Tobias didn't bother uttering sweet nothings. Skylar felt a jolt of pain, and she gripped the bedsheets tightly, feeling helpless.
She didn't let herself go all out, as she was still upset at Tobias for not being a gentleman. He didn't bother with any foreplay and only focused on satisfying himself.
Skylar's eyes fell upon the discarded antidepressant medication in the trash can. Half of the box peeked out, partially obscured by soiled tissue papers discarded by Tobias.
She glanced at the red marks left by Tobias on her arm and let out an inaudible grumble. Pulling on Tobias' T-shirt, she gracefully stepped off the bed, revealing her long, captivating legs. It was an enchanting sight to behold.
Alas, no one was there to enjoy the sight. Tobias was still sleeping, and it seemed that they were in different time zones.
In the past, Skylar could sleep anywhere in any bed. She had never suffered from insomnia. On the other hand, Tobias had to depend on pills to fall asleep.
Right now, it was the total opposite.
Skylar had trouble falling asleep, but Tobias was sleeping soundly. He had missed over a dozen of phone calls. She attempted to wake him up three times, only for him to switch off his phone eventually. Skylar casually picked up his belt and draped it over her arm, unable to determine its brand as there was no discernible logo. She couldn't help but ponder how truly wealthy individuals preferred maintaining a low profile, unlike the many who flaunted the prominent "H" on Hermes logos these days.
Startled by the noise she had unintentionally created, Tobias slowly opened his eyes, still groggy from sleep. His voice was still thick from sleep as he mumbled, "Why are you up so early? Are you heading to the office today? Or do you have other plans?"
Skylar considered her schedule and told him, "I have a meeting to discuss an endorsement contract. My last movie didn't perform well, and the brand isn't happy with me. Kate has reached out to them, so we're meeting today. I'm uncertain about their final decision."
Tobias had always wanted to talk to Kate but couldn't make the time.
He replied, "I'll get you another endorsement if you lose this one."
