Orion’s POV~

As Renata and I walked into the dining hall, Aaron said “I heard from the pack earlier. And Renata..you need to call Barney, little fairy! It’s important” I linked him 🐺 What’s going on? 🐺 It isn’t good! Her restaurant was attacked and two of her servers were seriously hurt! 🐺 Prepare the plane. We are wheels up in an hour! 🐺 Yes Alpha! And I ran as fast as I could to get to my love as the sky opened up, the winds howled and her sobs crushed my soul!

The plane was taxiing out to the runway..as Renata curled into a ball and dozed. I looked at the guys and said “What do we know?” Aaron replies “They were rogues…it’s reported they seemed to target the females..trying to abduct the two who are injured. The restaurant is destroyed.. I won’t know what it will take to renovate until I can assess” Brian speaks up “I have watched the security video…approximately 20 wolves came in from the northeast and broke through front and back doors, both…breaking things as they went. Barney was knocked out at the start of it…and Levi disappeared off camera at the start..I didn’t pick him back up in view, until the authorities arrived. They targeted the women…And brother! Those women fought like hell!”

I want answers. “Heracles is unsettled and ready for a fight! Rogues? Are we sure!?” Brian says “I can’t be certain.. I am trying to ascertain if what is happening at Matthew’s and this incident are related in any way… or if they are two separate incidents. Matthew is sending Kenneth down in a few days to be able to keep your dad updated. He’s worried about his daughter!” And he chuckles.

I gently wake Renata, to let her know we are landing and she mumbles “coffee”. She is a caffeine fiend! She straightens and stretches her limbs..and looks at us “I am going directly to the hospital. Then the restaurant! I am done taking a backseat in my own life! These fuckers that want to come for me are making a mistake! And they will find out they would rather be jacking off in a phone booth full of bobcats instead of pissing off a fairy!”

And I lost it! That was hilarious! I’m sorry…a phone booth full of bobcats? Abraham held it together longer than I lasted..but Aaron and Brian were rolling! I have learned a very valuable lesson “Don’t piss off a fairy”

As we walk out of the hospital, Renata looks over at me and says “I really am done being Mrs. Nice Guy… We will discover who is involved and Goddess help them!” I smiled and told her “I’m your muscle baby!” And I watched her face go beet red to the tips of her adorable ears.. I laughed and said “where’d that precious mind of yours go? Are you interested in checking out my ‘muscle’?” She giggled and said 24/7…. “But right now, we need to see the restaurant “ I whispered “Later” And grabbed her and lifted her into the truck.

As we were pulling into the parking lot, it was full of people…all watching Renata. She hopped out of the truck…staring at the group. She took 4 steps forward and spoke “I know I am not one of your favorite people. And you need to understand..that I don’t really care.. If any of you know anything about the men who attacked my friends..I will pay handsomely for that information! Until I can repair..or rebuild..know there can’t be any parties..I can do no catering.. and this is the only place you can go out to dinner. And if I do not receive the necessary information I require…I will rebuild my restaurant in Rapid Run…and all the tourism my restaurant brought in..will disappear! Don’t think I didn’t know that is the only reason you tolerate me!”

I am so proud of her! She flat out told them she was through taking shit in this town! Absolutely perfect..my mate! As we turned to walk inside..I linked Abraham 🐺 Wolf at the northeast treeline..watching..dark brown..I’m not picking up scent.. so I’m curious. 🐺’On it boss…taking Brian

As we walk in, Renata touches Barney’s cheek and the bruise disappears as the cut healed. Amazing! Everywhere she looked….utter destruction. I walked to her and pulled her close..rubbing her back..and she smiles “I’m fine! But I’m pissed!” I told her we will figure it out..she nods, and says “Can we go home now?” I smile and nod.. 🐺 Abraham, anything? 🐺’No Alpha…caught the scent faintly..same one inside the restaurant 🐺 Okay..let’s meet at the house. Luna is ready to go home”

All of us pulled into the driveway of Renata’s beautiful Victorian style home..she sat there..not moving.. I asked “Baby? Talk to me” She said “Evil has been here. The magnolia is weeping…” and she jumped out of the truck. Her beautiful magnolia tree had gashes in its trunk..branches chopped off and lying around it. Renata wrapped her arms around it and began to heal the gashes. She said “This was personal. This was done with malice and intended to hurt me. They hurt Maggie to hurt me!” I said “Maggie? At work?” She laughed and said “The tree.. magnolia…Maggie” and we both laughed! How genuinely sweet this girl is!

As we walked in the back door…she stopped..and said “They have been inside our home.” I stopped her on the porch and told her to wait for me to check it out I linked the guys…I told them to go through the front door and I was coming in the back.

I entered the kitchen…and it no longer existed. Her ovens were ripped from the walls. The range top was shattered. The refrigerator was on its side and all the contents covered the floor. She’s right! This IS personal! I look up and she looks……Really pissed! Nuclear detonation pissed’

“I know who the fuck did this! That fake boobed, bleached blonde….spray tanned…leg spreading..stank ass crotch..5’gargantuan bimbo! Where are my keys?! I am going to stomp a mudhole in her ass and walk it dry! Who’s coming with me? ……… WHO is coming with me. The train leaves in 5 fucking minutes! Be on it!” And she stormed out the door.

🐺 She’s mad. Hella mad! Follow her! 🐺’ We don’t even know where she’s going…or who she’s talking about. 🐺 Get in the Goddess damned truck or I will eat you! 🐺’You can’t eat me, hairball! 🐺 I won’t let wee willie winkie get hard for a month!!! 🐺’On my way! We will figure it out!

Brian was the first to move..he was sitting in the backseat..and Aaron jumped in beside Abraham.. leaving me the front passenger seat…beside a literal steaming woman! The car is Hottt…the windows are fogged over and I’m trying to wipe the windshield so I can, at least, see the tree that will decapitate me..and she says “Chill the fuck out…we’re practically immobile anyway!” And the guys crack up!

I asked “Baby..where are we going?” She snapped “Lionel’s! Fucking Alicia and her cronies! I let it slide. Did I go after them for setting my ass on fire? Noooo! Did I go after her when my car was shot at? Nope! Did I beat her ass when she told me to stay away from MY Mate? No..I did not! I wanted to…Holy fucking shit! Did I want to! Did I knock fatboy Lionel on his ass for trying to buy my silence?! No! But I should have! I so should have! But I didn’t!!!! And now? NOW it’s too personal to let her get away with it! She hurt Maggie! She took arms from her! And left her bleeding into the earth! No! No! That is not okay Orion! It’s not.And I don’t care what you say!” I stated “I only asked where we were going. I’m fine if you kill the bitch!”

The guys laughed hysterically…then Brian said “Should have warriors within the perimeter in a few minutes, Alpha.. Didn’t figure we’d wanna be there unarmed. If Luna starts World War 3, we want to be able to contain it.” We all laughed at that!

She didn’t even stop at the border! She rammed the gates, slammed the gas pedal to the floor and, as I watched…concerned she was just going to ram the house.. She loosed the gas pedal, jerked the emergency brake into position..and slid us sideways, to come to a halt at the front door! Impressive, as fuck! And I didn’t piss my pants…so, there’s that!
