Fated Hellhound

It’s been several days since the overload of garbage that is Elden…Renata has been cooking up a storm.. she bakes early..then preps the daily meals for the cooks to take care of. She’s such a walking contradiction…She’s not angry.. but she wants revenge.

Orion finds her in the kitchen and she dances her way to him and says “I need some herbs and plants. Some I can find in the woods..but I can’t go foraging alone. The rest I have to get from the apothecary.” He smiles at her..and says “you and me? Foraging in the forest? And the word naked comes to mind” and she laughs! She said “Our warriors will be here today. I need to make potions to keep them safe from wolfsbane. I almost didn’t get to your dad in time. I don’t want to feel that way again.” He smiled at her…so pleased she loves their people…and replies “Our hounds are immune to wolfsbane. But Matt and Kenny’s people need potions.” She smiled so bright!

She spun back to me and asked “ Those idiots have been so busy trying to keep us apart …that they don’t realize we are already marked and mated! So now what?” Orion nodded and he says “Smart girl! We need to talk to Dad!” He takes her hand and they stroll off to find Charles!

They found him in the study.. researching anything he could find about the legends of the trio of fate. Orion asked him about their being mated and marked already. Charles sat there….and sat there some more…after a half hour or so… he said “We have to have her Luna ceremony. On the full moon..when her mark is glowing..you remark each other. And that’s in four days!”

“Well..fuck me running!” Renata says “I have to go find Becca and Melody..we need flowers and food and I need a dress..but I don’t want to go anywhere right now. Do I have a pretty enough one in the closet!? Oh my Goddess! Where will we have it? I have to be in the moonlight to glow. Oh! And my wings come out! They need the full moonlight to maintain their strength! I have a dress… you can’t see it though! I have to go! I love you! Bye” and she ran out the door

And Charles burst out laughing. He said “Boy! That girl could talk the ear off a donkey…I have never heard anyone talk that fast!” Orion laughs.. “I just let her ramble with it…she says things! It’s too funny to stop her…like when she said she needed panties because hers keep getting torn off. She never realizes what she’s saying. It’s funny!” They laugh together…and walk down the hall…only to see Renata talking to Melody and Becca..and both girls look like deer caught in the headlights! Charles links the girls and said 🐺 Luna ceremony on the full moon…4 days, girls. Just nod yes..and say let’s get started now and that might shut her up and he laughed!

Renata and Orion had gotten all the plants and herbs she needed for her potions. She then went to welcome the warriors and gave them each either cookies or brownies. Then she left Orion with them so she could work on her potions.

Matt called Orion into his office..so they sit there watching the video feed from Elden’s pack house Orion snarls “so he brought all his sons in. And they will all die with him! Any threat to my Luna will not go unpunished!” Matt laughs and says “Damn Heracles! Chill out brother! She’s safe!” And Orion laughs…”Yeah! He’s a dick! He just pops through my control now!”

They heard Elden say “Robert screwed up. He had the mate and fucked it up! The best part…oh the best part is priceless! He never learned her name. The night he met her.she said her name was Reni.. But, genius right there couldn’t get her to tell him her name…not after he burned her with that poker..or stabbed her with a knife that he left in her leg all night! No! The girl never told him shit. So we have no idea if her name is Reni…we have no last name. And we know she’s not in this area. Which is a good thing with Orion here.”

Matt says “He did that to her?? And she held true? Holy hell! She is strong!” Orion nods saying “I know. She’s unbelievably strong..but she’s soft. And kind. She cried because the tree she was tied to was burning…she cried because the tree was in pain..and she apologized to the tree! The girl was essentially being burned at the stake and she hurt for the tree! It was also the night she discovered she can control lightning “ he laughs “That girl has been through some shit! No wonder she wants to get even! Lightning??” Orion laughs and says “a story for another day!”

“Orion? Hear what I can do? The girls taught me! Orion hears in his head and smiles says “The girls taught her how to link” and Matt laughs… 🐺 Mi Amor…I am so proud of you! Now we can talk whenever we want. I love you! He hears her giggle. He says “no better feeling in the world knowing she’s happy!” Matt says.”I know what you mean! Happy Spouse…Happy House!” and they both are still laughing when the other guys come in

Matt fills them in on what they learned about Renata and Abraham pipes up “I’m a little concerned,, if they get wind of the restaurant..it could put it on his radar.. and I don’t have to tell you, if they start asking questions around town..Alicia will sell her up the river…in a heartbeat!”

Orion says “Good point! But what can we do? There or here..a showdown is coming! And it will end! Because once the ceremony is over…and our bond solidifies…we will make plans to take them out! Even if I have to kill his 8 sons to do it!”

“I need to know their defenses Brian. If we need more warriors..we will bring more in. I won’t have our people outnumbered.. not that it matters…one of ours is worth 3 of theirs! This battle will be here…on the first land I claimed for my hounds!” Orion said

Kenneth tells the group “Our warriors stand with you! With Renata’s potions..we will be good to go!” Matt says “we have to find a way to keep dad here…maybe ask him to aid Brian with your Luna!?” They laughed and Orion said good luck with that!

Renata knocked on the door and Orion was pulling it open before she finished knocking! She smiled and kissed him saying “I came to get you guys for lunch!” Matt asks “did you cook?” She nods and he runs around the desk and grabs her hand leading her down to the dining hall…saying “Hurry up guys! Orion..I get your share” and laughs all the way to his seat!
