Chapter 181
Chloe
Lyra... Kain... Uncle Gauss...
Everyone who had a hand on our child's death will definitely die!
In front of our child's tomb, a frigid wave of revenge brewed in my heart. With my mind darkening, I remembered each and every expression of these three people in my memories.
Their eyes filled with contempt and treachery. Their eyes continued to look at me without remorse nor a tiny bit of guilt.
“I will make sure... to avenge you... my child...”
I vowed, digging my nails deep into the my palms If I could, I would immediately rush to the Blood Hound's camp and kill all of them. I will bring their bodies to this very same place and let my child see who his murderers were.
Just then, a warm palm covered the hand that had been digging hard as I heard a resolute voice beside me, “We will avenge you... son...,just wait for mom and dad...”
Blake held my hand tightly, his eyes hinting me to not inflict hurt on my body any more. And with his determined expression, he knelt in front of our child's resting place.
“My son, see us from the moon... watch your mom and dad give the justice you deserve.”
Mom...
Dad...
“Blake... Blake... wake up..."
It took me several times to become successful, but the moment his eyes opened, I saw the desperation and sorrow in his eyes. It seemed like he was still half awake when he sat up and panted heavily, as he did not realize that I was beside him.
“Blake...” I called out once more, this time worried that he might succumb to the nightmare he just had.
"Ah.. Chloe...” Finally hearing my voice Blake's eyes looked at me in surprise then suddenly shifting to relief as he brushed his already wet hair from the dreadful dream.
“Chloe.. I'm sorry did I scare you-" I no longer let Blake finish his sentence when I moved my body and quickly embraced him.
I no longer need to think too deeply. Seeing Blake's torment, it reminded me of the nights where I would be haunted by the pain of the past as well.
The scars were still here, it is still too painful whenever it was exposed in the light, but... now that Blake and I chose to be together, there is no need for us to suffer alone and in silence.
We will share the pain and bear it together... That's what I thought.
“Chloe...” Startled at my actions, Blake froze for a second but wrapped his hands around my waist in response.
“I'm here, Blake..." I uttered as I looked straight in his eyes.
"Hmmm..." He answered as he took my hand and kissed it gently.
He pressed his lips at the back of my hand, his warm breath tickled my skin making my heart skip a beat, however, I did not have the slightest thought of running away. His lips brushed into my skin, slowly working up to my shoulders and neck.
Wherever his soft lips landed, I would feel a wave of electric shock that would make my mind go haywire. I held on tightly on the back of his neck as I closed my eyes to control my breathing.
Even so, Blake did not seem to be planning to stop as his hot breath swept past to my chin and to my lips landed his soft supple kiss.
Just like that, my heartbeat went crazy as my mind went blank. Like a rabbit being entrapped by a predator, I realized that the way we were positioned was as ambiguous as it could get.
Even so, my body had no plans on resisting Blake's approach as well. When Blake pried my mouth open my legs curled to cling tightly in his waist letting him control my body which is now completely in his beck and call.
The air in the bedroom heated as our soft gasps blended with the birds singing. Two of us held each other, with Blake slowly shifting to make my body lay on the bed.
“Chloe... may I." Blake's voice sounded hoarse yet carried an alluring charm, his eyes were as gentle as a doe, looking at me as if asking for permission.
I could feel my cheeks heating up when suddenly being asked for something directly. Even so, my body was already screaming for his presence for a long time since we decided to be together.
But before I could open my mouth, a soft yet rhythmic knock came from the door.
Blake and I froze, as our eyes both turned to the door. The next moment, a sweet childish voice came out,
"Dada! Wakeyyyy wakeey! It's already noon Dada!"
