Endless (Clarity Coast Omegaverse Book 1)

Chapter 27

I’d never taken so many pictures in my life.

Janet was absolutely right, the more we took, the easier it was, and by the time I was posing in the next outfit and on the bed with nothing but blue velvet ribbons covering me—barely—I was laughing and having a great time.

Somewhere in the middle, Hawk disappeared. Not entirely. I could still feel his eyes on me. It could have felt strange or creepy with anyone else. With him, it didn’t. It felt like a whole new type of freedom. I was doing this for myself, and he gave me space to enjoy it while he enjoyed it too.

“Okay,” Janet finally said. “Only one thing left to do, if you still want to take some pictures with Hawk.”

“Yes. I do.”

He appeared again from around a corner I’d barely noticed was there. “One condition, baby girl. You already know what it is.”

I sighed and smiled at Janet. “He wants me to take everything off. Is that going to be weird?”

“Nope.” She wasn’t even looking at me, flipping through the last set of photos we took. “That’s fine. Hawk, start in underwear and we’ll progress from there. Isolde, sit on the end of the bed when you’re finished undressing.”

Hawk stripped out of his shirt. In the gentle light of the studio he already looked like a photo. A photo that I was allowed to touch. “You’re staring.”

I blushed and looked away only to find him in front of me making sure I couldn’t look away. “I never said it was a bad thing.”

So I still stared while he stripped out of his pants, suddenly remembering I was supposed to be naked too. I untangled myself from the gorgeous death trap of lingerie I was wearing and tossed it aside so the camera wouldn’t catch it. I wasn’t brave enough to just walk across the space fully naked.

“Sit,” Janet said to him. “Isolde, kind of curl yourself around him from behind.”

I did as she asked, and Hawk grabbed my legs, leaning back to look up at me. “Hi there.”

“Hi.” I couldn’t stop the smile on my face. This was fun. He’d been right, and in spite of my nerves, I felt light. Happy.

We took pictures as we kissed, with my hands draping down his chest as I leaned over him. And when there were enough of those, we were on the bed and Hawk lost the clothes entirely.

“Although I really want you to fuck me,” I whispered, “I want us to be alone for that.”

“Don’t worry.” Hawk breathed the words against my cheek before nuzzling his head into my own. “No actual pictures of me fucking my perfect Omega.”

I whined, barely noticing Janet. Hawk was the one moving us per her instructions. Even when she climbed on a ladder to take pictures from above, I felt like I was in a trance. Sweetness and cream. Frosting and sugar. I wanted to drown in his scent. Drown in him.

“You guys are great,” Janet said with a laugh. “I’ll have the pictures for you guys in a week or so.”

It drew me out of my haze just enough. “We’re done?”

“You’re done. Stay put for a second and I’ll get out of your hair. Hawk, you owe me one for this, and don’t leave unless you’re ready. The door’s gonna lock behind you.”

“Will do,” he said.

“And change the sheets,” she called over her shoulder.

My Alpha burst out laughing, but I couldn’t. He was so close, and I hadn’t had enough.

As soon as the door closed his mouth was on mine, rough and claiming. He growled, finding my hands and pinning them to the bed. “Do you have any idea how hard I’ve been for the last three hours?”

“It’s been three hours?”

“Every fucking second. Delicious torture, watching you seduce that camera in lingerie I picked for you.”

I’d been so wrapped up in his scent and the weight of his body on mine I’d hardly noticed the length of him pressed against me.

But I did now. And it felt different from when it was pressed against my back. Hawk raised himself far enough to shove my legs apart, and I saw him. A thick metal stud came through the head, glinting in the soft light. “You’re pierced,” I murmured.

“I am. Have you ever felt one?”

I shook my head.

“I think you and this piercing are going to be good friends, baby girl.” He reached between us and dragged his thumb slowly over my clit, showing me how wet I was—how aroused and ready after hours being watched by him and bathing in his attention. Like the longest foreplay in the history of the world.

“Why?”

Hawk didn’t answer with words. Only lined himself up with my body and entered me with one long, delicious thrust. Deep inside me, pleasure tingled, like his cock had found a secret button to push and make me moan.

“That’s why,” he finally said.

Every movement of his hips gave me more of that feeling, and it clicked in my horny, hazy mind. His piercing was the source of that pleasure. Tiny fireworks exploded behind my eyes. Sparks that spread.

“I—” My whole body shook. An orgasm approached. Probably the fastest I’d ever come in my life, if you didn’t count the three hour edging session we’d just had.

“I see those thoughts in there,” Hawk’s voice teetered on the edge of an Alpha bark. “Don’t think yourself out of pleasure, baby girl. Close your eyes and hold on to me. Nothing else, understand?”

There was no chance to respond. I wrapped my arms around his neck just in time.

Hawk fucked me. No other words. Ruthless and raw, pushing us both into the bed until the headboard slammed against the wall, marking the rising pleasure like a beating drum.

It came so fast I gasped, one second rising, the next second crashing over me so quickly I was no longer in control of myself. My body arched. My limbs shook. My voice came out ragged, begging for more, and he gave it to me.

Hawk gave me absolutely everything.

I was long past the orgasm, slipping down into the bliss of still feeling him, aftershocks shimmering in my bones, when he slid home and locked us together. I swore light flashed behind my eyes.

Hearing his moan nearly made me come all over again. “Just a little deeper. Even with my knot, you can take more.” And he did press harder, deeper, knot bumping up against every piece of me that needed it. “You did so good.”

For a minute we simply breathed each other in, his forehead resting against mine. Then he laughed softly. “The only thing I wish I’d done differently is eat your pussy first. I still haven’t tasted you, and I’m jealous.”

That made me smile. “It didn’t seem like you could wait.”

“I definitely, definitely couldn’t. Not after seeing you in all those positions and poses. There wasn’t a single one I don’t want to fuck you in.”

“I think you’ll have to wait,” I breathed, slowly wrapping my legs around his hips. “I can barely move right now, let alone do that again.”

Smiling, he kissed me, deepening the way our lips met until he had me questioning my own statement. “We’re going to work on that.”

“In what way?”

“You’re going to need more orgasm stamina for all the things we want to do to you, baby girl.”

I rolled my eyes but pulled him closer, savoring the feeling of his weight on me. “I can barely get there as it is.”

“Contrary to popular belief, orgasming is a skill, and you need practice. Maybe it will always be a little harder for you than someone else, but I’m guessing with some practice and some Alphas who are willing to practice thoroughly and often, it will get easier.” His nose brushed mine. “If you want that, of course.”

How could I say no to that? I didn’t think there was anyone in the world who would say no to more orgasms. “Guess I’ll need to practice a lot before the wedding.”

Hawk nodded slowly, but he didn’t seem thrilled by that statement. “Yeah. Before the wedding.”

I chose not to focus on the idea that my lack of orgasms could be because Beau hadn’t cared enough to really try. I’d come, but not nearly every time. Nope. Not thinking about that when I was fully blissed out.

A different question popped into my head. “When we first met, I asked you why people call you Hawk. Is there a reason the story couldn’t be told right then?”

Chuckling, he pulled us onto our sides, my leg draped wantonly over his hip while his knot still stretched me full. “No. We just didn’t want to linger in the airport. I did some falconry when I was a kid.”

“Then why isn’t your nickname ‘falcon?’”

His large hand stroked over my hair, my whole body leaning into the touch like I was a cat lounging in the sun. “I worked with a hawk. People just call the training of birds of prey, in general, falconry now. But I quickly got the nickname ‘hawk boy,’ in school because I spent so much time doing it, and you know kids. They go for the easy nicknames. In high school I embraced it, dropped the ‘boy,’ and it stuck.”

The soft ambient light of the studio revealed the truth of Hawk’s eyes. As dark as they looked, they weren’t black. Instead, they were the deepest of browns when you could really see them. I reached out and traced the lines of his face, marveling at them.

Was I sex drunk? I felt so relaxed and easy. It wasn’t normal.

“Do you still do it?”

“No.” He shook his head, taking my hand and moving it to his shoulder. “When my hawk passed, I didn’t think I could raise another one. I still have him here, though.”

The incredible tattoo of a bird in flight. I stroked the feathers on the wing, so lifelike I could almost feel them. “What was his name?”

“Signet.”

“That’s beautiful.”

“Kind of like you.”

Every Omega instinct I had came to life. I pressed closer. Buried my face in his neck. Clung to Hawk like he was the only thing rooting me to the earth. And he held me back just as fiercely.

His strong arms locked around me, Hawk murmuring softly in my ear. He called me baby girl. He told me what a good Omega I was. How beautiful I was.

My eyes closed, the aftermath of pleasure and the overwhelm of everything else making me tired enough to drift with him. Nothing bad would happen while I was here with Hawk. Nothing bad.

Nothing bad.

Nothing bad.
