Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny ( Quintessa and Tyrone )

Chapter 322

Quintessa nodded vigorously, "Aunt Jane, you're absolutely right. I've realized you're pretty wise."

Mrs. York smiled bashfully, "Oh, stop it. I mean, even though I think my son could be better in some ways, at least he can't be gay, right? Think about it, he's not that bad." Quintessa agreed, "True..."

That night, Quintessa and Mrs. York talked until the early hours of the morning, around 2 or 3 A.M.

The bond between women is built on shopping sprees and shared secrets. After they spent a night chatting, their relationship skyrocketed.

The next morning, Quintessa woke up with bags under her eyes and headed to the set, while Mrs. York knocked on Tyrone's door, "Son, for your sake, I've even played the villain. You better step up!" On set, Quintessa ran into Jonathan and gave him an odd look.

Feeling uneasy under her gaze, Jonathan couldn't shake off the awkwardness, even days after the shoot wrapped up. Whenever he tried talking to Quintessa, she avoided him, which left Jonathan utterly confused.

After the wrap party and a group photo with the cast, Quintessa flew back to Emberbrook that very day.

Tyrone, being a businessman, couldn't stay in Zion City indefinitely and had returned to Emberbrook with Mrs. York two days earlier.

Landing at 11 P.M., Manny, carrying the luggage, asked, "Tess, where to now?"

Standing at the exit of Emberbrook airport, Quintessa suddenly didn't know where to go. Emberbrook was so vast, yet she felt homeless. The house at Harmony Retreat was now Tyrone's, but was a hotel really home?

After a moment, Quintessa decided, "Let's head back to Harmony Retreat for now... It's about time I bought a place of my own."

Manny wanted to offer some comfort but couldn't find the right words.

As they arrived at Harmony Retreat, someone called out, "Quintessa..."

The voice sounded familiar, which sent a chill through Quintessa as she slowly turned around to face the person behind her.

"Quintessa... It's Dad," Sean looked at Quintessa with what appeared to be 'a father's love'.

Quintessa felt nauseated by the sight. A father's love, right.

His sudden change in attitude clearly meant he needed something from her.

A security guard peeked out from the window, asking, "Ms. Young, is this your father? He's been coming here every day, and had waited for over a week."

Quintessa offered a faint smile in thanks.

"Manny, could you take the luggage up?" Quintessa handed the keys to Manny.

She then led Sean to a gazebo in the community, which was surrounded by darkness with only a few street lamps illuminating the area.

"Quintessa, how have you been?

Dad's always worried about you. The

entertainment world can be a tough place, and I worry you might be taken advantage of," Sean's gaze was earnest, seemingly genuine.

Quintessa scoffed, "Let me guess, what brought you here today? Sean, it amazes me how you can spew such disgusting words. How many times do you have to rehearse them?"

"Quintessa, I know you've always

hated me, but some things were out

of my control. Everyone made

mistakes in their youth, and I've been

living with guilt and regret. I hope you can give me a chance to make amends."

Quintessa chuckled and nodded, "Oh, so your 'little mistakes' led to my mom dying with resentment. Forgiving you is easy. See that building? It's 28 stories high. Jump offit, and I'll forgive you!"
