Devoted: A Dark Mafia Romance (Beneath The Mask Series Book 3)

Chapter Devoted: Epilogue 1

I watch in the mirror as he leans on the doorframe, his piercing green eyes eating me up. I pop a deep red gloss onto my lips, but I can’t take my eyes off him. His hair is perfectly styled, and his black tux hugs his muscular frame.

He’d make my panties wet if I was wearing any.

He stalks towards me, and I clench my thighs together. His tattooed hand trails along my collarbone, softly moving my curls over one shoulder, exposing my neck to him.

“Mmm,” I mumble as he kisses along the column of my throat. His fingers lace around my neck, and my eyes flutter closed, and I lose myself to the sensation of his soft lips.

“You look spectacular, tesoro.”

My eyes meet his in the mirror, and he grins.

“That hand tattoo finishes off the outfit. My own custom necklace.” I giggle, and he squeezes tighter.

“The only hand that ever goes around your neck is mine. Wife,” he growls.

My stomach flutters, wife.

“Not yet.”

“In about forty-five minutes, you will be. Regardless, every breath, every beat of your heart, every smile is mine, and only mine.”

“It always has been. Forever and always remember.”

The warm breeze flows through our balcony door. The only sound is that of the waves crashing against the shore. Greece is our tranquility. The past month, all we’ve done is swim, sunbathe, and explore each other and our list that seems to grow by the day.

We have our own little private beach; we spend our evenings watching the sun set and the stars appear over the white sand.

When I wake up cuddled into him, I am home. I’m no longer running from my demons, I’m no longer fighting. I am finally living for me. I’m so deeply in love with this man, I will forever be grateful that he took me.

He stole the broken version of myself; he helped put me back together and now he just simply loves me.

I can never forget what I went through. Every day, I have this battle in my mind, but the choice is easy when I look at him. I choose him, us, and myself.

“Shall we go down there and make this official?” he whispers against my neck.

He brushes the tip of his finger over my tattoo on my collarbone and down to the one I had for him.

“I have a little present for you first.”

His hand slips under my silky lingerie. “Would that be that you have no panties on?”

I laugh. “No, I can’t wear any with my wedding dress.” It fits so snug on my figure. This time, we picked my dress together from a little boutique store in town. It’s a mermaid style gown with lace and pearls and a beautiful open back which ties up into a bow.

He lifts me up in the air, and I shriek as he spins us around.

He slides me down the front of his body. “Today is going to be the best day of my life. I don’t think anything will ever come close to this moment.”

His face scrunches for a second, so I run my fingers along his perfectly trimmed stubble.

“Nothing ever comes close to being loved by you, Luca.”

His lips crash over mine and I squeeze my arms around him.

“Now, help me get into my dress.”

“Rosa Russo has quite the ring to it.”

What he doesn’t know is that I’ve arranged for Keller, Sienna, Maddie, and Grayson, and their kids to come to our wedding. Frankie couldn’t. He’s too busy hunting down Romano by the sounds of it, so he will be there on FaceTime.

I couldn’t let Luca get married without his family here.

It’s safe here.

And without them, we wouldn’t be standing here today.

“You’ll have to get us down to that beach to find out.” I wink.

“You tease.” He kisses all along my jaw and down my neck to the point it tickles.
