“Why should I do a DNA paternity test with you?” Yoel coldly rejected. Lynda’s request.
It wasn’t that he felt guilty, but deep down, he didn’t believe the boy could be his child. The so–called DNA paternity test would only be a farce.
Lynda simply smiled faintly. “Could it be that you’re feeling guilty since you’re so impatiently rejecting my suggestion?”
Yoel sneered, “Provocation won’t work on me, so you might as well save your efforts.”
However, right after he finished his sentence, a deep male voice interrupted him, “We’ll do the DNA paternity test.”
Yoel turned around with a bewildered expression, only to find that George and Anna had unexpectedly rushed over.
“Dad, Mom, why are you here?” Yoel didn’t expect Lynda to actually inform his parents. He grimaced in response.
Lynda shrugged. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m not the one who notified them.”
“It doesn’t matter who informed us. What’s most important now is to determine the relationship between this child and our family.” George looked at Lynda with a grave expression. “Are you sure this child is really Yoel’s son?”
Lynda, for once, reined in her usual carefree demeanor and nodded, saying, “I’m sure.”
George and Anna exchanged glances, and both agreed in unison, “In that

case, let’s do a DNA paternity test.”
“I’m not going! She’s nothing but a liar! Why should I believe her?” Yoel glowered at his father. “Do I have to cooperate with every woman who shows up requesting for a DNA paternity test in the future?”
Thud!
George slapped Yoel on the shoulder, “What nonsense are you talking. about? If it weren’t for your absurd behavior back then, how would we be facing this situation now? Since you’re so sure the child isn’t yours, go do a DNA paternity test!”
Yoel averted his gaze. “I won’t go! The more you pay attention to her, the willfully she behaves.”
“You can’t even handle these ridiculous matters, yet you want Ms. Shelley. to be with you?”
At that critical moment, Anna hit the nail on the head for Yoel. “Illegitimate child is never a pleasant term, no matter when it’s
mentioned. If you are certain this is not your child, you should prove your innocence and put Ms. Shelley’s mind at ease by doing the DNA paternity
test.”
Yoel opened his mouth, wanting to argue, but suddenly turned to look at Cynthia, who had been silent from the beginning. In the end, he agreed, the end, he agreed, “Fine! We will choose the location for the DNA paternity test and have someone monitor the entire process to ensure no one takes any undue advantages!” Who knows what tricks Colton might pull behind the scenes?
Lynda had no objections to this and simply held the child’s hand.
Cynthia, who had been quiet all along, noticed that the child shrank imperceptibly the moment Lynda took hold of him. Although his head was lowered, there was still a hint of suppressed fear in his eyes. Is he afraid

of his own mother?
Cynthia always felt the scene was quite strange, but seeing the obedient. child holding Lynda’s hand, she didn’t say much.
“I’ll–Before Cynthia could finish her sentence to express her intention to leave, Yoel interjected her.
He looked intently at Cynthia and said earnestly, “If I can’t prove my innocence in front of you, this DNA paternity test will be meaningless.”
Anna also fathomed Yoel’s feelings for Cynthia, so she quickly persuaded, “Although we all believe that Yoel is not a foolish person, we still need to prove his innocence with facts! I think that if you don’t go, Ms. Shelley, he won’t be at ease either.”
After hesitating for a moment, Cynthia finally nodded and agreed, “All right. I’ll tag along.”
The group left Fashn Group and arrived at a laboratory under the Zabielski Group.
The person in charge personally collected samples from Yoel and the child and even supervised the entire testing process.
Two hours later, the person in charge came out with the results. He uttered solemnly, “I was present throughout the entire test, so there was absolutely no chance of any tampering.”
Yoel’s heart suddenly skipped a beat after he heard that.
He swiftly snatched the test report from the person in charge and immediately flipped to the last page.
Yoel widened his eyes in incredulity and firmly denied with a darkened expression, “No! I refuse to believe this result!”

Cynthia stood by his side, and as she saw the astonishing ninety–nine point nine percent compatibility rate, she couldn’t help but reveal a hint of surprise on her countenance. Is this child really Yoel’s?
“We did this test at your facility with your men personally carrying out the test and supervising the process,” Lynda said indifferently. “Even if I wanted to play tricks, I couldn’t do so.”
Colors drained from Yoel’s face as he glanced at the child beside Lynda.
“When I was with you, I clearly…” At that moment, Yoel was overwhelmed by an urge to go back in time and slap his past frivolous self. Why is this happening now?
Anna also glared at Yoel before stepping forward and asking the child kindly, “What’s your name? How old are you this year?”
“My name is F–Fergus Zabielski, and I’m six years old,” Fergus stammered. for a while before finally managing to say his own name.
A glimmer of pity flashed across Anna’s eyes as she stepped forward and took Fergus‘ hand. “I’m your grandmother. Would you like to come home. with me?”
Upon holding the child’s hand, Anna realized how thin the child’s wrist. was, and her heart filled with even more compassion.
Instead of immediately agreeing, Fergus turned his head and glanced at Lynda.
It was at that moment that Lynda finally chirped, “I believe I have proven my innocence. Now it’s time for you to show your sincerity.”
“What do you mean?” Yoel asked with his brows furrowed, feeling utterly exasperated.

Lynda stepped forward and took Fergus‘ hand, hinting at something as she spoke. “You don’t think the child has grown up without requiring any care of sustenances, do you? It isn’t an issue if you want him to acknowledge hist ancestry and return to the family, but I want to be Mrs. Zabielski.”
“Impossible!” Yoel was the first to deny it. “Even if you are the only woman left in this world, I still won’t marry you.”
Lynda knew getting his consent wouldn’t be easy, so she grabbed Fergus arm and was about to leave. “In that case, there’s nothing more for us to discuss.”
“Wait a moment!” A trace of pity flitted across Anna’s eyes as she watched the staggering child leave. “What do you want? Do you want money or shares? There’s always room for negotiation.”
Lynda stopped in her tracks and enunciated at Anna, “I don’t want any of those things. I just want to become Mrs. Zabielski. If Yoel marries me and hosts a grand wedding for our marriage, I’ll let the child recognize his ancestry and be registered in the Zabielski household register.”
Yoel really wanted to curse at Lynda, but when he noticed the awkward expression on Fergus‘ face, he held back and said, “No way.”
“I’m giving you three days. After that, I’ll take the child and leave Zosteylor,” Lynda said with a faint smile. “Whether or not you’ll see him again in this life depends on your sincerity.”
After saying that, she suddenly let go of her grip and said to Anna, “Since Mrs. Zabielski likes the child, why don’t we let him stay at the Zabielski residence for a few days?”
