Joshua walked downstairs step by step and approached Anika. He noticed tears on her face, her hands. tightly clenched into fists, and she was sleeping on the couch in a defensive posture. Because the air conditioning temperature indoors was set very low he reached out and covered Anika with

a blanket.

Then,as Joshua was about to make a phone call to have breakfast delivered, the door of the house was opened from outside.

Violet walked in wearing high heels,carrying breakfast in her hands.

"Joshua,I brought breakfast for you. Today is the company's anniversary.right? Later, let's go together..."
