Chapter Chapter Twenty Three
"Hey baby" he said, fuck he sounded so sad. He was in his living room, he sadly didn't have a suit on and instead a dark jumper.
"You sound so sad," I tried to giggle.
"I'll be okay, it's like your sadness and anger transfered to me," he chuckled.
"So what's the plan?" I asked, trying to pick him up. I was still freaking, terrified that we would have to end this. I didn't want to lose Zeke, I loved him and I wanted to be with him forever.
"I want to ask you something". His voice was low, I just nodded. Chewing my bottom lip off. "What are your thoughts on living in Manchester?". He whispered the question and I grinned. "I like that smile," he laughed and it just made me smile harder.
"I would miss Liv, Damien but it's not a million miles away. I would do it". Zeke dropped his head back on the sofa, his smile over his face. "But" I said firmly. Zeke raised his eyebrow. "Tooth stays, tattoo stays, you look for another job because I don't want you working with that bitch". Zeke nodded, his face going serious. "You even speak to a police officer and I'm going back to London". I ran my hand through my hair, trying to keep that serious face.
"Agreed. Hundred percent agreed. I would do anything. Add eat your pussy everyday to that list". I threw my head back laughing, he couldn't help himself.
"It does kind of make sense, then you get to keep your house". Zeke nodded, looking a lot better.
"True, mine is a lot bigger. No offence".
"No you're right it's got another room". My stomach was suddenly bubbling with excitement. I would feel blessed to be out of this tiny flat. "I'm excited" I squealed out. Zeke smiled, it was huge and covered his face. "But you said you didn't want to live there. I'm worried". Zeke breathed out, turning his body.
"I just need to be with you, Sash. I know I will be good with you. Then maybe after eighteen months we can move back to London". He shrugged and I nodded, my head nearly falling off. "What have you got to do to get it sorted?" I thought for a minute.
"I can request a transfer, my place has offices in Manchester"
"That's lucky," he laughed.
"Yeah it's like a North company anyway," I chuckled. "Break the news to Liv and put my notice in for here". I gestured to my flat.
"So what a month? Or earlier?" Zeke sounded excited.
"Are you sure you want to live with me?" I chuckled, nervously.
"Literally more than anything in the whole fucking world."
"Liv, you really shouldn't be carrying that." Zeke laughed at her, grabbing the box from her hands. Liv huffed, her stomach about to pop.
"I'm fine, this isn't my first rodeo you know," she laughed and I chuckled with her. I didn't have much, mostly clothes, I sold all of my furniture but made sure to keep my prize possession, my Playstation. It meant we had two but there was no way I was giving that up.
"Zeke, you have the most gorgeous home, why you would want to move to London god knows". Liv flopped on the sofa, her hand over her stomach. Zeke took my boxes up to the bedroom, I sat next to Liv who looked over at me.
"This is super exciting Sasha," she smiled, grabbing my hand. I felt my excitement was going to explode out of me. I couldn't wait for our first night together. "When do you start work?" Liv asked.
"Tuesday, it's about half an hour on the train so it's even a better commute". I shrugged.
"Oh even better. Is Zeke off Monday?" I nodded, turning my head as he entered the living room. Zeke sat on the sofa's armrest.
"He has a job interview on Monday." I raised my eyebrows and he laughed at me.
"Oh no way!" Liv smiled. "Doing what?"
"It's still project management but in a nicer place. I don't think I'm going to get it". Zeke said, less confident than I was used to.
"Yes you are! Shut up!" I smiled at him.
"Let me make some drinks, tea Liv?" Zeke asked her and she nodded. Zeke left the room and I turned to Liv again.
"I think you've really landed on your feet here Sash. This place is gorgeous". Her smile was huge. I looked down, a tear at the back of my eye. She was right, very right. I was lucky, the house was beautiful, Zeke was beautiful and I hoped my new office would give me the opportunity for a promotion in the future.
"Thanks Liv, for everything. For understanding me moving all the way here."
"You're my little sister and this man," she pointed at Zeke who handed her a cup. "Makes you happy so it makes me happy." Her smile was huge.
"He does," I whispered. Zeke pulled a face, getting my PlayStation out of the bubble wrap.
"You two are so cheesy, fucking hell".
