Chapter 9
Irene’s POV
I don’t know if it’s what happened at breakfast, bur Noah’s fists are clenched tightly on the steering, and the silence in the car after he explained how the car got there was stifling.
He took one sharp turn that had the car swerving to the right and my b*dy hit the car, I sent him an angry glare.
However, Noah just parked the car like nothing happened. Just who was it that raised these princes?
Other than Alek, both of them sure needed lessons on manners.
One minute, he’s giving me a goodnight k*ss; next thing, he’s standing in front of me and possessively telling his brothers that I was his fated mate.
And now, he was sulking and could barely tolerate me.
Just what was going on?
“We are here,” he informed me, and I looked outside.
My mouth fell open as I stared at the huge buildings in front of us.
It was built in a very similar style to their palace, and while it was smaller, there were a lot more buildings.
Also, there were a lot of students around.
Whatever this academy was, it had clearly been around for a long time.
Following closely behind him, we entered the building that we were parked in front.
There were two people at the desk, and as soon as they saw Noah, they stood up and bowed.
“Your Highness,” they echoed, and I stopped the internal eye roll.
If they were greeted like this everywhere they went, I could already see why he was such a spoiled prince
“I have a new student here, my brother asked you to admit her to a suitable class and give her everything she needs.”
On hearing that Alek was the one who sent me here, both of them gave me a curt bow.
“We would do our best, Prince Noah.”
“Okay then, I’ll leave the rest to you,” Noah said, and then he f**king left.

I turned, watching his departing back with my hands clenched tightly beside me.
Jerk.
I hadn’t expected that he was just going to drop me off like some sort of baggage and then walk
away.

“Miss, can you please let us know your educational background?” the lady asked, and I turned my attention back to them.
I didn’t have any significant education back in my pack. But since I handled most of the pack duties for the Luna, I had learned basic arithmetic and English to communicate with humans if we ever needed to buy anything from them.
Also, I had a lot of knowledge that I had never been able to explain where I knew it from.
But I wasn’t sure that was enough for them here.
“None,” I replied, and I didn’t miss the look of surprise on their faces.
“Well…” the lady started and then turned to her colleague.
The man cleared his throat and picked up the conversation, “since you have no problem communicating, I think that you can take a simple test to let us know that you would be able to handle the first year.
I nodded, letting them know that I agreed.
Some moments later, they passed me a question sheet and a blank one for me to answer the questions.
I read through the questions, and my tensed b*dy relaxed slightly. While there were some that I couldn’t make sense of, I could understand most of it, and I got to work immediately.
In what seemed like an hour. I was done with the thirty questions and handed the answers over to them.
While the man looked through my answers, the lady scuffled around the shelves behind them.
“You did quite well,” the man announced, and my shoulders sagged with relief.
It would have been embarrassing if I had to go back home and inform Alek and Elton that I didn’t
make the cut.
“I prepared your file already. You would be starting from the first year,” the lady said and passed me a file.
After that, she gave me some briefing on how things worked around here.
“Also, as it’s your first day, you should let Prince Noah take you around so that you don’t get lost or

into trouble,” the man advised, and I nodded in understanding.
The disappointment I had felt earlier returned even more when I opened the door, and Noah’s flashy sports car was no longer parked there.
He had really gone.
I took one look at the busy map that the lady inside handed to me and took a left turn.
My first class was something along the lines of physical training. I wasn’t dressed for it, but I guessed since it was my first day, I wouldn’t have to necessarily join in.
However, the most important thing was getting to the classes and getting to know what I needed from tomorro
Since Noah had ditched me so easily on my first day, I didn’t have any hopes of him being my
anchor.
However, after taking two more turns, I realised that I wasn’t even close to any of the buildings the map marked out.
I turned back, yet, after two turns again. I was not in front of the building I had just left but in some remote and quiet area.
Just what was going on?
“Stop..” a whimper that clearly belonged to a girl rang out, and I looked around, trying to figure out where it was coming from.
“Stop?”
“Didn’t we warn you already?” A masculine voice rang out.
“Perhaps she thinks that she could get away with disobeying us,” another masculine voice said, and my eyes narrowed.
One girl and two women, the situation didn’t seem like it was anything good. However, I didn’t want to rush and interfere since this was my first day here.
I had no idea how things worked here and wasn’t even sure if the girl was really being bullied.
“Why don’t you want to take the test and be our breeder?” A male voice that was quite distinct from the other two spoke
“Do you think that would stop us from taking you as our woman?” He continued, and this time, I didn’t hesitate. Whoever these three were, they were scum that needed to be purged from the world.
I walked to the place their voice was coming from, and I peeped to confirm what was happening.

“Bastards!‘ I cursed in my mind as I saw the scene before me.
Two men were holding a girl captive while a third one was starting to undress.
“Don’t you dare!” I yelled and then lunged at the man who was about to undress.
