Cottonmouth: Chapter 10

After a couple minutes, Cotton announced, “Time to clean the rest of you.” He then took one of her legs and propped it up on the wall. Grabbing the shower head, he gently directed the warm water over her folds. He pushed two fingers into her and aimed the sprayer closer to her core, directing the water to her button as he exposed it with his other finger.

“Ohhhh,” she gritted out between clenched teeth as her body tightened and heat spread through her.

Intent on his task, he stroked his fingers in and out, as he smiled warmly. “You wanted to see how good I was.”

“T-that was for washing m-my hair,” she weakly defended. “Ohh—Cotton—no-no…” Her body bucked while she helplessly came, yet again.

Cotton watched her with an intense heat in his eyes.

Panting with breaths as her chest heaved—the shower stall kept whirling around her, she then slumped down.

Catching her, he pulled her tight to his warm, wet body.

Tory felt grateful for his strong embrace. “How do y-you do that to—me?” Her speech was almost slurred with the heady effect of it all.

He held her tight and kissed a warm path along her neck. “Just comes naturally when I’m with you it looks like. Believe me, it hasn’t happened for me like this before.”

Tory sucked in her breath, it hadn’t ever been like this for her either. But her thoughts now centered on her mission, again. No, she couldn’t just stop everything she’d been doing, because of a man…she couldn’t.

Again, as if he couldn’t get enough, he kissed the skin along her shoulder. Cotton raised his head and looked at her. “Are you okay?”

She swallowed heavily and then her answer came out on a panting whisper, “No.”

Looking concerned, he gazed into her eyes. “What’s wrong?”

“Wrong?” Tears formed in her eyes. “Nothing…nothing.” He wouldn’t get it. She, herself didn’t get how this had grown so huge in such little time.

“What is it?” he asked again.

“I-I can’t get distracted by you. I mean… you are so wonderful and have been…But I need to leave soon.”

Cotton stilled as he grabbed her face with both hands and looked into her eyes. “You don’t need to leave, sweetness.”

“B-but, I do.”

He shook his head. “Nunuz is out there waiting for you. We will take this guy down together. Do you understand?” His gaze bored into her yes.

Someone else helping her? Standing with her? “I’m just not used to having anyone, except Wolf.”

“Well, you forget that insane fucker came in here and threatened us all. He threatened my dad. That’s about family and we don’t let that shit go.”

Nodding, she released a breath.

“Come on. We’ll towel off and go get some food. Coffee sounds good after you just ravished me in my own shower.”

Her eyes rounded as he turned off the shower. “Me?” she gasped in shock.

He laughed. “Oh, I can see teasing you is going to be more fun than…” His voice faded away. “But first. You’re right. We got a man to kill.” He stepped out of the stall.

“A man to…” She shook her head.

“You know what I mean. A man to apprehend, okay? Let’s get dressed.” He went into the bedroom.

Tory toweled her long hair as she watched him. She knew she was already attached to him. How? This had never happened to her before. Instant attraction, instant heat. She paused and wondered if it would turn into instant heartache.

They came into the main room, twenty minutes later. Cotton kept ahold of her hand as he maneuvered her to the buffet table.

Tory stared at all the food. “Wow, who cooks here?”

“Kayman,” Cotton replied. “He’s an old biker that always wanted to be a chef. Mean as hell, but man, can he cook.” He handed her a plate. “Been with the Demons for a long time.”

Tory and Cotton got their breakfast and coffee then turned around.

Python, Boone, and Cobra were sitting at a table, staring at them.

Cotton stalked right over, set his plate and cup down then turned and got hers from her hand. Setting them down, he looked at them all. “What? You all so bored, you need us for entertainment?” He motioned for Tory to sit.

She did, then he did so himself.

Python was the one to reply, “Nah, not bored but who is this fresh faced, smiling beauty with you, son?”

Tory and Cotton stared at him, seemingly clueless.

“What are you talking about Pop?” Cotton took a sip of his coffee.

“He’s talking about the miraculous change in your lady friend here.” Cobra raised a brow with his words. “This can’t be the gun toting, pushy bitch from hell of yesterday.

Tory raised her fork then stopped to look at Cobra. “Bitch from… I will need to speak to your Mama about your lack of manners, Mr. Innocent Of all Wrongdoing Asshole.”

Cobra didn’t even flinch as one of those rare smiles snaked out onto his lips. “Oh, there she is, I knew she was in there.”

Tory tossed a long length of her now sparkling hair over a shoulder and promptly ignored the big snake smiling at her.

Python chuckled. “That damn Valen charm.” He stated as he stared at Cotton, not Cobra.

Tory looked back and forth at father and sons.

Cobra snickered as he drank his coffee.

Cotton began to eat, seemingly ignoring them. Though he met his father’s gaze for a few seconds and smiled slightly, as he shrugged.

Tory gave up wondering, as none of them said anything more, so she ate too.

The men all drank their coffee in silence for a bit, as the couple ate their breakfast.

“My men told me there was a blood trail, going out to the lot,” Cobra broke the quiet. He looked over at Tory. “Your dog friend got a good piece of him.”

Tory nodded and swallowed her scrambled eggs. “He always gets em, or a piece at least, anyway.”

As if knowing they were talking about him, Wolf suddenly appeared and came over to the table.

Boone sat back and watched the animal. “How does he do that? Just appear like a specter.”

“Yeah,” Cobra added. “Where the hell does a dog that huge hide?”

Tory chuckled at their questions, as she removed her fork from her plate and set it down in front of Wolfie.

Wolf ate, but not like you would think. He was neat and slow about it. One type of food then the next as he ate the eggs, moved to the bacon, then the toast. Not sloppy, not greedy. Just graceful and particular.

Python stared down at him. “He was down here early this morning and he growled at my men till one of them opened the door. I was hoping he hadn’t come back in.”

Cotton let a chuckle slip.

Python paused to glare at him. “Sumpthin’ funny there, junior?”

Cotton shook his head and hid his grin behind his coffee mug.

“Yes,” Tory went on, missing the exchange entirely. “He finds his way all by himself.”

“Yeah, that’s fine an all,” Python replied with a growl in his voice. “But he’d better not think of using my balls as a chew toy again.”

Coffee spurted from Cotton’s lips as he laughed.

Cobra set his mug down and stared at his dad.

Boone’s brows rose up.

Python raised a brow at them and stared at each one of them in warning. “That’s all I’m gonna say about that.”

His sons and the other men knew better than to say anything.

Tory seemed to have the sense not to reply either.

Pappy came over and sat down on the other side of Python. “Trudy got right on it. The third man’s name is Juan Nunuz and he is the son of Garcia. Stepped into his shoes just recently and his direct boss was Brago. He has quite a number of men too, so I don’t get why he came in here last night, alone. Those types always bring their army with them to take bullets for them.”

“This man thinks he’s invincible,” Tory offered.

Cobra agreed, “He wanted to make a point and he was chasing a woman, so his ego won out.”

“He waited until we all went to bed too,” Boone added.

“Damn cartel fuckers with their asshole tendencies,” Python grumbled.

A commotion sounded at the entrance as scuffling and shouting could be heard.

Python, Cobra, and Pappy stood from the table.

Remaining in in their seats, Tory and Cotton turned their heads to look.

Jett and Thor dragged a struggling, spitting man over to the table.

“Fuck you, bendehos!” Juan spat at them.

“We followed the trail,” Jett explained to the brothers at the table. “Then one of our lookouts told us they’d followed him downtown. We made an early before sunrise call on the asswipe.”

Thor swung Juan around easily and sat him in a chair like he was an empty garbage sack.

“You all are gonna fucking die!” Juan sputtered as he squared his shoulders.

Python cocked his head at him. “Nah, man. Looks like you are about to die.”

Juan stilled and gazed up at Python. “You’re older but I still remember your face, puto.”

Python shrugged.

“You killed my father.” Juan raged.

Python gave a nod his eyes like steel. “It was me or him.”

“You fucker!” Juan shouted.

Thor grabbed Juan’s shoulder and squeezed hard. “Watch your mouth!”

Juan winced from his grip and laughed. “You dumb gringo bikers. You think you got Brago yesterday, huh?”

Python, Cobra, Pappy and Cotton all stared at him.

“You stupid dogs.” He sniggered.

“What do you know about it?” Pappy asked.

Juan shrugged. “I know he’s still alive and fifty miles from here. You just got a captain. One that can be replaced.”

“By you?” Boone asked.

“Nah, I got other interests.” He chuckled while looking thrilled, even as his nose and lip bled.

“Well, during your stay here, you are going to tell us where he is.” Python sneered.

“No, no. I’ll pass on that.” Juan snickered now.

“You will be going through lot of pain, amigo,” Cobra warned. “And you will tell us.”

“Ain’t worried amigos. My men will be here in a minute or two. So, I will not be here that long.”

As if on cue, shouts rose up from the door.

Python as well as Cobra’s phones buzzed.

Men from all over scraped their chairs along the floor while rising up as boots shuffled in the room.

Juan grinned at them all through bloody teeth. “Right on time.”
