Chapter 5 The Isolated Island (2)
Perhaps this matter was so ridiculous in the eyes of Kelley. Nowadays, marriage and divorce could be regarded as a game. As a
child bride, she didn't have to abide by any conventional rules. But at this moment, she tried her best to justify herself with the
identity of a child bride, because she inadvertently fell in love with this man. For this man, she could give up herself!
On that day, Kelley had experienced too many things. She was asked by madam to see him in the morning, then took a plane
and a ship. She didn't climb onto the island until it was nearly dusk. After watching the bloody battle in the evening, she lost her
dignity at such a night.
When Kelley was about to walk to the side of the boat that was parked on the beach, Henry's cold voice suddenly came from
behind, "I'll drive you home."
Kelley turned around. She he saw Henry walking towards her step by step with his slender and tall legs. Although his clothes
were worn out and could not be seen its color because of blood, his noble and ruthless temperament dazzled Kelley's eyes.
What kind of person was he? Judging from his appearance, he could definitely be regarded as a beautiful and handsome angel.
However, judging from the ferocious aura around him and the sharp and deep coldness in his eyes, he was definitely a devil from
hell.
The two of them sat in the boat together, speechless. Their noses was full of the smell of the sea water with a slightly fishy smell,
and their bodies were blown by the strong and cold sea wind. In front of them was the boundless sea, making people feel a
sense of loss and desolation.
Perhaps it was because they had been silent for too long. Henry interrupted the silence and asked Kelley, "Did you come here
just for seeing me?"
"Yes, I am here on behalf of madam to see if you are alive or dead." Kelley said angrily. But why was she angry? Maybe it was
because she felt that he would not like her. Did he, such a cold and thin person have feelings?
Looking at the sea in the distance, Henry said to Kelley, "Of course I won't die. As you said, my life is tough."
After thinking for a while, Kelley realized that his father and brother had died because of his born. How could he die so easily? All
of a sudden, something occurred to Kelley. Turning her head to look at Henry, she said, "I remember today is your last
examination. It seems that you have passed it. When will you go home?"
"Hey, do you really want me to go back?" Then Henry looked at the sea in the distance and said, "Today's examination is only
the last one on this island. The real examination hasn't arrived yet."
There was an examination? Kelley wanted to ask why, but before she could ask, Henry pointed at the distant sea and said, "That
ship should be here to pick you up. You can go back now."
The boat was close to the big ship which was sent Kelley here in the daytime. When Kelley got on the ship and looked back at
the sea again, she saw a man lying on the boat. He was calm, floating in the waves, laughing at life and death, looking up at the
vast night sky, with a little desolate and somewhat heroic.
In the summer of that year, Henry was twenty years old. He had ended more than 10 years of strict training on an isolated island,
waiting for the most serious examination.
In the summer of that year, Kelley was eighteen years old. She just graduated from high school and was waiting for the new
college's life in the autumn.
That night, a man suddenly burst into Kelley's life, a man that she couldn't forget. The man was so handsome that after that day,
when she saw all the men in the University, she felt they couldn't compare with him. The man was so domineering that she felt
that all the men except him were gentle. The man was so excellent that she decided if she couldn't marry him, then she would
never marry anyone in her life, because no other man could attract her attention.
In this way, Kelley's heart was possessed by a devil and she was willing to have it in her heart. In fact, it was not easy to live in
the Leng Family. Madam treated her not very well and always tried to torture her. When she was a child, and other children
snuggled up to their parents and acted like a spoiled child, she began to do all kinds of housework. No one knew that she
needed to earn all her tuition by herself.
Kelley had lived a hard life, but she wasn't afraid of it. Before eighteen years old, although she had a hard time, there was a kind-
hearted person secretly helping her, so she didn't have to suffer too much. After she was eighteen years old, she was not afraid
of suffering any more, because as long as she did not leave the Leng Family, she could see Henry again, the man who made her
fall in love with at the first sight.
