The hotel offered a variety of types of breakfasts. While Lucas and Tiara were enjoying their breakfast, the sunlight poured. in from outside, making the atmosphere even better.

voice.

at her.

When she picked up her phone, she noticed more than two dozen missed calls from
Darren.
She was shocked for a while before giving a mocking smile.
To stay calm and undisturbed, she muted her cell phone yesterday after she got into the car. Although she had guessed that Darren would look for her, she didn’t expect him to be so
crazy.
Clearly, he had been anxious.
It was rare for him to call her during the time she was with him. Even when he called her, he mostly wanted to talk about work.

After looking at the flickering name for a while, she turned to glance at Lucas, who sat at the table calmly eating breakfast. Elegant and handsome, like a fairy–tale prince, he looked noble and unattainable.

After what had happened last night, her relationship with Darren was completely over. She no longer had to conceal from him her present relationship with Lucas.
She did nothing shameless and had nothing to fear.
“What’s wrong?”
“Tiara, where are you?”
Darren’s hoarse voice was heard. It appeared
that he had not rested well.

“Mr. Fred, is there anything?” Tiara asked deliberately, pretending not to know why Darren had called her.
“Tiara, don’t try to escape again. That’s not
use.”
Tiara could hardly control her smirk. “What do you mean by that? Why should I escape?”
She didn’t hurt anyone or do anything illegal. Why did she run away?
“Then, why didn’t you come back last night? I’ve been waiting for you the whole night.” After a pause, Darren continued, “I know there must have been some misunderstanding about what happened yesterday. As long as you come back and explain it to me, I won’t blame you. Do you hear me?”
After pondering for a moment, Tiara smiled, “OK. I’ll see you in the company later.”
It was only when she had finished her call and returned to the table that Lucas turned to look at her. He asked, “Are you leaving

“It’s in no hurry,” Tiara replied with a smile and moved her chair forward before sitting down.
As her spirits rose, so did her appetite. She went on eating calmly. “It’s not me who eagerly wants to meet him. Why am I in a hurry?”
She had waited for Darren numerous times, and finally, it was his turn to wait for her.
“He won’t let you off easily after what you did yesterday.”
Darren was too parsimonious to accept even the slightest loss, much less the enormous indignity that Tiara had inflicted upon him yesterday.
More importantly. Tiara’s resignation would definitely be a huge blow to his company.
“I won’t let him off either.”
Tiara looked at Lucas.
Lucas laughed.

Darren had been waiting almost the whole
day.
He didn’t even have lunch. When it was three o’clock in the afternoon, however, Tiara still
did not appear.
He tried to call her but got no answer. He became so irascible that he had a hard time keeping himself from smashing the phone.

Leticia, half reclining on the spacious leather seat, was peeling an apple with a fruit knife. “She played a trick on us last night. No wonder she was weird yesterday. You said she would not betray you. You were fooled by her…”
“Stop!” Darren shouted out. He wanted to call Tiara again, but he knew that it was useless. Thus, he was vexed and could hardly control his temper.

At the shout, Leticia pursed her lips and looked down in a bad mood. “Why are you venting your anger on me? I didn’t betray your or the company, okay? It’s me who keeps staying with you and caring for you.”
Then, she walked over to Darren and handed him the peeled apple. “Here you are. No matter how angry you are, you have to eat something. Don’t hurt your health, okay? What should I do if you are ill?”
As she said, her big eyes turned watery. It looked as if she would soon burst into tears.
Darren softened instantly at her pitiful look. With a sigh, he took the apple and patted her shoulder. “I didn’t mean to vent anger on you. I was just not in a good mood. Sorry, I know you are worried about me. Don’t cry.”
“You’re just trying to smooth me. In your mind, Tiara is more important…” Leticia moved her body closer to Darren’s, igniting the desire in his heart.
