chapter 7
Chapter 7
My daughter loved adventures.
In the past, I often refused her for the sake of her
safety.
As a result, she never got to see the forest she dreamed of before she died.
Now, what else do I have to care about? My little
princess is gone, and I need to fulfill her wish.
from when she was alive.

man he once was.

“Anna! It’s all my fault. Please, don’t do this to yourself! It’s like you’re going to your death!”
Aaron’s face was full of sorrow. He had lost his
daughter and was now on the verge of losing his wife as well.
“Aaron, what are you doing now? It’s too late for everything! There’s no one left in this world that
I care about!”
My cold attitude deeply broke his heart.
“How can you say there’s no one you care about? Don’t you care about me? We used to be
so in love!”
“Aaron, you said it yourself, that was in the past! I don’t love you anymore. Someone else will
love you.”

I coldly shook off Aaron and headed into the forest without looking back.
Through the rearview mirror of the car, I saw Rita, who looked like a shrew, Aaron’s cold
expression, and Ronnie crying uncontrollably.
The once seemingly complete family was now in
disarray, all at the cost of my daughter’s life.
Thinking of this, I couldn’t help but cry again.
