Chapter 43 Teach Lisa a Lesson

“Ms. Braun personally called me, asking me to take good care of you. She said to brew some honey grapefruit tea when you wake up.”

The assistant subconsciously held back the phrase “Let Lisa come over” and didn’t say it.

“Hah, I told you she was saying one thing but meaning another.”

Quincy sat up, rubbing his temples, covered with the blanket that the woman had draped over him.

It was clearly a deliberate attempt to draw one’s attention, a farewell to bachelorhood party was specifically arranged to lure oneself in.

He was just pretending to be drunk just now.

The man looked up, “I told you she still has feelings for me, doing all these things just to attract my attention. She still can’t let go of me. Ha, such clumsy and childish tactics.”

The assistant fell silent for a moment, not uttering a word.

He felt that Ms. Braun was not quite the same as before.

Even if he had a hundred times the courage, he wouldn’t dare to tell the truth.

Morris tentatively asked, “Regarding the bank, will they continue with the subsequent loans for the movie star’s company?”

“Don’t worry, haha, I wouldn’t let her use this trick a second time. She wishes!”

Quincy emerged from the bathtub, his tone calm, “Have her report to the Secretary Department tomorrow, so she won’t be too idle and have time to hang out in bars.”

Assistant: “Yes.”

The next day, Renee received a notification from the HR Department, instructing her to report to the Secretary Department.

She didn’t want to go at all.

Soon, she received the work content sent from the Secretary Department. the first item of which was the matter of Quinjoy Group developing plots in cooperation with Good Friend Company.

The corner of her mouth twitched, it was definitely a threat.

After much consideration, Renee decided to change her clothes and report to Quinjoy Group.

However, this time she appeared in the Secretary Department, and her colleagues were all quite polite to her, even though she knew the reason.

After all, my current identity was Quincy’s ambiguous object.

She couldn’t be bothered to explain either. With Quincy backing her up, at least no one dared to bully her.

Ms. Braun, you will primarily be responsible for the president’s daily affairs in the future. These are the president’s usual preferences and taboos. Please remember not to get them wrong. Other than that, there’s nothing much. Welcome, Ms. Braun, to the big family of the Secretary Department.”

The manager of the Secretary Department was a shrewd person, and was exceptionally polite to Renee.

He had spent a lot of money to communicate with Morris about how to deal with this parachuted–in Ms. Braun, to which the profound reply was, “Don’t offend her.”

This sentence was very interesting.

Whether they could rise to power in the future was uncertain, but with Mr. Patel backing them at the moment, they indeed couldn’t afford to offend them.

Renee nodded, “Thank you, I’m new here, please take care of me in the future.”

After the manager left, everyone exchanged glances, and some people came over to cozy up to Renee.

Soon, Morris came over: “Ms. Braun, please take a drink to the president.”

“Good.”

Renee casually set aside the handbook of precautions, the records within were actually quite basic. Her understanding of Quincy was far greater than what the handbook offered.

She went straight to the tea room. It must be said that the president’s tea room was really different, it had everything.

She didn’t make coffee, but directly brewed a cup of honey grapefruit tea, after all, a certain man had drunk too much and was hungover from the night before.

The people from the Secretary Department exchanged glances, but no one spoke up to remind.

Renee carried her grapefruit tea into the conference room. As she entered, the chatter inside significantly decreased, becoming much quieter.

Quite a few people looked over with shocked expressions.

She walked straight to the end of the long table without glancing sideways, placing the cup to his left, at a distance that was neither too far nor too close.

Quincy was on the phone, speaking foreign language in a low, rapid tone, discussing something, without even glancing at her.

Renee didn’t speak, she prepared to leave after accomplishing her mission.

But at that moment, another woman in a white dress walked into the conference room. Lisa was also holding a cup of coffee. She had a smile on her face, but almost lost it when she saw Renee: What was she doing here?

The atmosphere in the meeting room became a bit awkward.

Renee walked over, a slight smirk on her lips, “Are you here to bring a drink too? Too bad the CEO doesn’t drink coffee.”

After dropping that sentence, Renee left.

Lisa’s hand was tightly clutching the coffee, she maintained a smile, walked over and placed the coffee closer to Quincy’s hand, deliberately closer than the honey grapefruit tea.

After doing all this, Lisa returned to her seat, but her eyes were fixed on that side

Quincy hung up the phone, turning back to see two drinks placed beside him

He glanced and casually picked up the coffee

It seemed that a hint of victory flashed in Lisa’s eyes. See, she knew all along that she would be the one to win.

But the next second, Quincy handed the coffee to the executive next to him: “Drink more coffee next time you stay up late, don’t make mistakes again.”

The executive reluctantly nodded.

After speaking, the man casually took a sip of the honey grapefruit tea he was holding, and his furrowed brows relaxed considerably.

This sweetness, was the kind he liked.

Although Renee was not particularly dazzling and liked to play petty tricks, she was quite talented in cooking and making tea.

Before long, Quincy had finished the entire cup of honey pomelo tea.

Lisa watched from the side, her eyes terribly gloomy. Why had Renee suddenly returned to the corporation, and even had the audacity to serve tea

Renee, why couldn’t you just leave simply?

You dared to compete with me, as if you were worthy!
