Chapter 1154
Xena kept pushing the issue. It was obvious she could not provide the paternity test results and was just trying to squeeze out more money by making a scene. Otherwise, why wouldn't she follow the proper legal process? Nina, not wanting to waste any more time, raised her voice. "Someone, show them out!"
"You!" Xena shot to her feet in anger. "Nina, Nash, you're going too far!"
"Yeah! My mom's pregnant. If you stress her out and something happens to her, can you afford to pay for it?" Xena's son chimed in.
"I'm telling you, if we don't get money today, we won't leave! We have no way to survive!" Xena and her children stood united, with Xena even putting on a show of exaggerated pain.
But Nina wasn't falling for it. She turned to the house staff and ordered, "Don't lay a hand on her. Just call the police and an ambulance."
"Yes, ma'am," the staff replied and followed her instructions.
Nina then added coolly, "We aren't family, nor are we friends. Since you refuse to leave, I have every right to report you for trespassing and extortion. If you're greedy enough to demand everything, well, that's a pretty hefty sum." She turned to Nash, pretending to be puzzled. "Nash, isn't that a minimum of three years in prison?"
Nash shrugged. "I'm not sure. I'll have to check with Ben."
By bringing up Ben, Nash made it clear that once the police and doctors arrived, if it was proven that Xena was faking her condition, it would be up to them to decide the legal consequences.
Realizing the threat was serious, Xena panicked. "You-you'll regret this! Karma will catch up to you! I won't let you get away with this!"
With no other options, Xena grabbed her two kids and hurried out of Riverside Estate.
Nash wrapped his arm around Nina's shoulders. "I told you to go upstairs, but you didn't listen. Are you planning to face every challenge with me from now on?"
"Yes," Nina answered without hesitation.
There was no doubt in her response.
She gently pushed him, smiling. "You still think like you used to, always wanting to push me to the side. But Nash, life doesn't work that way.

together. You've helped me, So when something happens to you, I can't just sit back. I have to stand by your side."
Her eyes shone with unwavering determination.
Nash's heart warmed, and he chuckled softly. "Having you by my side is all I'll ever need."
But just then, Nina received a call from Yvonne.
Though they kept in touch, Nina never expected Yvonne to call her out of the blue to ask for money.
"Nina, I need some money. Put it in
your account and give me one of your unused bank cards. I need you to help me leave Birkham tonight!"
Yvonne was not short on cash, yet here she was, asking Nina for money.
Nina quickly realized Yvonne must be in trouble. Her expression grew serious. "How much do you need? Nine hundred and eleven thousand?" She was testing to see if Yvonne needed to involve the police.
As longtime friends, Yvonne understood what Nina meant and let out a soft laugh. "No need for that, Nina. I need five million."
