Chapter 22: Do You Have No Shame at All?
It was morning.
Fleur was used to waking up very early, when the sky was still dark. When she opened her eyes she was covered with deep-coloured, fresh sheets.
She was the only one in bed. Sitting up, she saw Olivier on the sofa.
She tiptoed to him and observed him in his sleep. Even in his sleep he was so rigid.
In deep sleep, his handsome features were especially attractive, as if his face was a masterful painting.
Fleur pulled off the quilt on Olivier's body. Just when he began waking up, Fleur quickly climbed onto him.
Holding onto his neck, Fleur smelled how clean his body was. Strong and manly.
But at that moment Olivier turned to his side, sandwiching her between his body and the sofa.
"Fleur Leroy." Olivier's eyes were clear as day. "Do you have no shame at all?"
"When it comes to you, I don't care about shame."
Olivier's glanced down as Fleur timidly hooked her legs around him.
"Why are you so stubborn?" Fleur raised a brow and asked.
"So this is how you seduce men? Very skilled." Olivier's low voice rang aloud.
Fleur did not have much space to maneuver around, though it was clear what she was trying to do. Her eyes remained indifferent, as if she did not want to do this. Their breaths and energies mingled together.
"Not just any people. Just you." She said with a fake smile.
Olivier hated when she spoke like this. Her charm was strong, sure, but it only got further and further lost as she tried to force things to happen.
"Get up." Olivier had finally lost his patience.
Since when did Fleur obey him? Her eyes were bright as sparkling spring water. She said, "The second condition." On that offer Olivier gave her. "Kiss me." Fleur raised her lips.
Olivier frowned and gripped her leg as if intent on crushing it.
"Alright, alright, I'll change it." Fleur was not dumb. "No kissing. Hold me to sleep."
"Fleur," Olivier said through gritted teeth. "You seriously want me to retract my offer and banish you out of Y City?"
Fleur blinked and said in a complaining tone, "So now you're going back on your word? I'll be secluded for two years when I go to your Grandma's place. Right now I just want you to hold me to sleep for a while, and you won't even do that. Were you lying to me all this time about your offer? Trying to deceive me into marriage?"
Olivier's eyes darkened but he said nothing.
Seeing his silence, Fleur laid down and curled a hand close around him. "Why don't you find someone else to enter into this agreement then? Though if you find someone uglier than Virginie, you might be laughed at."
"Be quiet!" Olivier growled and pulled Fleur's arm off him.
Fleur stayed quiet. Virginie really was a touchy subject.
"Then..." She squirmed a little. "You..."
"Say another word and I'm kicking you out."
Fine.
Fleur quietly laid, hugging his waist. She covered their legs with the quilt.
Olivier's heavy heartbeat slowed. She could tell he was holding back.
