ANNABELLE.

“Annabelle, what happened to you?” he asked, his eyes roaming over my gown, a frown forming.

“Who did this to you? Did you tear your dress this way?” he asked again, his tone dripping with anger.

I remained silent, not wanting to create more enmity between him and his supposed fiancée.

His eyes landed on my cheeks, and the frown on his face deepened. “Why are your cheeks red?”

I stayed silent again, making him extremely angry.

“Who did this to you, Anne?!” he yelled. “Lorraine, do you know what happened to her?” He turned to Lorraine, hoping she would answer since I was unresponsive.

“I met her this way, and when I asked who did this to her, she said…”

I shook my head, not wanting her to say a word about it. I didn’t want to be the one to damage his relationship with Lady Emily.

“She said what?” Derek asked.

“Uh, she didn’t answer me, and I’m just as confused as you are… But she said she wanted

back to the castle, and that’s what I was about to do.”

I gave her a small smile, thankful that she didn’t tell him anything.

“That won’t solve this issue, Anne. I’m sure someone did this to you, and if you don’t open your mouth and talk, I’ll go to the CCTV room to find out what exactly happened!” he threatened, and I felt as if cold blood rushed through my body.

I had totally forgotten about the CCTV.

“So if you don’t want that, I suggest you open your mouth and start talking because I won’t take your silence as an answer…”

*Alpha Derek, I will say it. I’m sorry, Anne,” Lorraine spoke. “It was Lady Emily.”

“What?!”

“Exactly. I was just as shocked as you are when I found out. She did this to her, and not just Lady Emily alone, but also-”

“-Other ladies!” I immediately spoke up, not wanting Lorraine to mention the Luna’s name. “Along with other ladies…” I repeated. I wanted to avoid involving the Luna in this misunderstanding, as I didn’t want to cause a huge rift between Alpha Derek and his mother. That would only make me feel worse.

“But… I did… I did slap her, and I’m sorry, Derek, for slapping your supposed fiancée. I understand if I am to be punished for my actions,” I finished and bowed my head slightly, already ashamed.

Alpha Derek sighed. “That serves her right.”

“Uh?”

“Yeah, she deserves whatever slap you gave her,” he replied, surprising not only me but also Lorraine.

“Come on,” he urged, raising me up. “Let’s go.

“No, no, you don’t have to take me back to the castle. Please go back to your party. I wouldn’t want to disrupt your enjoyment.”

“Pfft, I would so happily leave it just to be with you alone,” he replied. “Uh, Lorraine, thanks a lot. I’ll take it from here.”

“Alright, let me go back to my husband. I’m sure he’s already searching for me.”

“Thanks, Lorraine,” I appreciated.

“Anytime, Anne.” She smiled and left the restroom, leaving me with Derek.

When she left, he locked the door and cleared his throat.

“Undress,” he spoke, his eyes a shade darker.

“Uh?”

“Undress,” he repeated, and I stood still, totally confused and surprised. “If you don’t

undress, I will do it for you, and you might not like what happens afterward right here,” he threatened, and I gulped.

I nnned my back to him and began undressing, wondering why he wanted me to get undressed so suddenly. But of course, I didn’t have a choice since I was already sold to him. He owned me as well as my body.

“Face me, Anne. Don’t try to hide from me,” he said in a hushed tone. “And if you’re uncomfortable, I’ll turn my back instead… I don’t want you catching a cold considering how wet you look.” He turned his back to me, making me smile. I didn’t know what I might do if he wanted to take me right now.

As I undressed, I watched him in case he turned around, but I was glad when he didn’t.

By this time, I was almost naked, with only my bra and panties left. I used the dress to cover my nakedness, just to be safe in case he went against his word and turned around.

“You done?”

“Yes! I gulped, wondering what he wanted to do next.

He checked his watch, his eyes fixed on the door as if expecting someone.

Soon, there was a knock on the door, and I started panicking, trying to cover my body with the wet, battered dress.

“Who’s that?”

“Omega May,” I heard May’s voice and sighed in relief.

“Alright, you may come in.” May opened the door and entered. When she saw me, her eyes widened.

Alpha Derek turned around, facing me and May.

“I told May to bring some clothes for you.”

I smiled sweetly, my hands still holding the wet, battered dress that was covering my nakedness. “Thanks.”

He smiled, his eyes lingering on my exposed breasts and skin. I felt my cheeks heating up. Realizing he was staring too long, he cleared his throat. “I will wait outside while you dress, but if you take too long, I will have no choice but to barge in.”

“Oh my gosh!” Omega May screeched when he left.

“Shhhh

“I almost melted… His gaze… It could make any girl want to give herself to him completely…” Omega May swooned.

“Shut up!” I shushed her.

“I wonder how you’re not affected by his stares… If I were the one he was staring at like that, I would want him to take me right here.”

“May!”

“Alright, alright, my lady… I’m sorry if I went out of context…” She bowed curtly.

“You’re not at all serious.” I chuckled.

“By the way, what happened to you and your dress? I was so surprised when Alpha Derek contacted me through the mindlink telling me to bring you some clothes.”

“… It’s a long story. I will tell you everything when we return to the castle.”

“I already know. It’s Lady Emily, right?” I nodded.

“It’s obvious.” She scoffed as she helped me put on the knee–length flowery gown she brought for me. “I don’t know why you don’t want to report Lady Emily for locking us up in that room…”

At that moment, Alpha Derek opened the door and pushed his head through the opening.

“So it’s true,” he snarled angrily.
