Chapter Benson 63
Chapter 63 Silent Communication
Yvonne’s cheeks flushed. She hadn’t expected Benson to speak so bluntly.
Looking at him, she nervously tugged at her tie, trying to mask her unease.
“Benson, I have work at the office…” she tried to find an excuse to leave, her voice trembling slightly.
“Whatever it is, it can wait. From now on, just listen and be gentle,” Benson said with an undeniable authority. His eyes were firm, as if he had already decided her fate.
“Tonight, can it be tonight? I’m not used to this during the day,” she tried to stall, hoping to find a chance to escape.
Benson knew she didn’t want this. “Do you think I can wait until tonight? I didn’t even want to wait last night,” he said, his voice revealing a strong desire as his fingers gently traced her cheek, causing a tingling sensation.
Yvonne swallowed hard, her gaze drifting outside. The sun was shining brightly, and his shirt was slightly open, showing his alluring physique. She knew she couldn’t easily escape his control.
He kissed her deeply, and although she resisted internally, she felt a bit dizzy.
He was insistent, and no matter how much she struggled, his grip was stronger.
Not wanting to fight, Yvonne took a deep breath, trying to relax. She hugged his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “You wouldn’t force someone, right?” Her voice was low, with a hint of pleading.
Benson smiled at her, “Would you help me?” His voice was playful, as if he was enjoying
the game.
At nine o’clock, Benson came downstairs in high spirits, and George, waiting in the living room, stood up to leave with him.
His steps were light, clearly in a great mood.
Shortly after, Yvonne came down with a gloomy expression. Megan hurried over, “Yvonne, are you okay?” Her voice was full of concern.
Yvonne shook her head, her eyes showing a hint of exhaustion.
She knew she needed time to process everything and find her balance to move
forward.
On the way to the office, Megan, sitting in the front passenger seat, turned to Yvonne and said, “Yvonne, I rescheduled a meeting for you. A niche jewelry brand wants to join Agya Entertainment, and they hope to talk to you personally.”
Yvonne sighed, her eyebrows furrowing slightly, seemingly resigned to this sudden

arrangement. “I understand.” Her voice carried a hint of fatigue.
“Oh, and Mary will be visiting today,” Megan added, her tone slightly reminding.
Yvonne responded with a nod, but her mind was far from calm.
Yvonne took out her phone and lightly swiped the screen, searching online for information about Mary’s pregnancy.
The night before, the news of Mary’s pregnancy had nearly crashed a social media platform, with countless speculations and discussions flooding in.
However, today, there was no news about it at all, as if the storm had never happened.
Yvonne couldn’t help but admire Benson’s methods. He always managed to control the situation at critical moments, preventing any negative news from affecting him or his family.
Benson’s tactics were brilliant, his influence far–reaching, always stabilizing the situation during crises, protecting his and his family’s reputation.
As for the pregnancy, Yvonne believed Benson was mindful of its impact on the Taylor family and likely wouldn’t let Mary actually be pregnant.
She speculated that it might be a carefully planned façade for some unknown benefit exchange or political marriage. Benson’s shrewdness and calculations left Yvonne feeling deeply helpless and sad.
But every time she thought of Benson holding Mary in a moment of passion, she felt a wave of nausea. The feeling was like swallowing a fly, impossible to get over.
Recently, Benson’s behavior had become increasingly excessive. He seemed to have an obsessive fixation on Yvonne, and she couldn’t escape his touch.
Each time he touched her, she felt a deep sense of disgust and helplessness.
At the office, Yvonne threw herself into work. She had a two–hour phone call with Daniel discussing important company decisions and future directions.
After the call, she felt tired, but the work was far from over.
At
noon, Yvonne decided to take a break from work and went to the company cafeteria for a moment of peace.
She chose a window seat, hoping to relax and escape the office’s hustle and bustle. However, her peace was short–lived because Mary, a well–known star employee in the company, entered the cafeteria with her assistant.
Mary’s arrival immediately caused a small commotion in the cafeteria.
Her presence was like a beam of light, brightening the ordinary dining environment Many employees, both na
to get close to this company star, perhaps even getting her autograph.
Mary maintained her gentle and patient demeanor, smiling and agreeing to every
autograph request.
Her elegant behavior and kind words made her seem like a true star, maintaining her kind. and pure image both on stage and in daily life.
Seeing this, the head of the marketing department stepped forward to help Mary, politely refusing the employees‘ requests and explaining that she needed some private time to rest and eat.
Mary gratefully glanced at the marketing head and then turned her gaze to Yvonne.
She walked over with a warm and friendly smile, “Ms. Yvonne, may I sit with you?”
Yvonne nodded and also invited the marketing head to join them. She turned to him and asked, “How’s the shooting progress?”
The head smiled awkwardly, realizing his presence was a bit out of place but answered honestly, “Ms. Yvonne, we don’t have your contact information yet.”

voice carried a hint of apology, knowing this was a basic oversight for a project head. Yvonne glanced at him without blame, then took a business card from her bag and handed
it to him.
At the table, Mary complimented Yvonne’s skills and efficiency while quietly sending her al message.
Switching to her messages, Yvonne saw Mary had sent an ultrasound image with a note to return in 7-10 days.
Soon after, Yvonne received another message from Mary: “Early ultrasound doesn’t show much, but other tests confirmed pregnancy.”
