Chapter 28
Aubrey had sent her a string of text messages.
There were images, videos, and voice messages.
Mikayla opened the pictures. Aubrey had taken them from the lobby of Kylie's apartment and outside her door.
The videos were also several minutes long. Mikayla played a voice message.
"Kay, I've helped you teach that bitch Kylie a lesson! I couldn't just sit by and watch you get hurt!"
Right after the message finished playing, Michael returned with the milkshakes.
"Miss, here's your rose vanilla milkshake."
"Thanks." Mikayla took the cup and stood. "Sorry, but something came up. I need to go."
Seeing her tense facial expression, Michael knew better than to ask. He just waved politely and said, "See you at the gym."
"Sure."
Mikayla played the video after leaving the milkshake bar and getting in her car.
The footage showed Aubrey opening Kylie's door.
When she saw that Jerome was there too, she blew her top. She yelled at Kylie for being a shameless mistress and meeting up privately with someone else's husband.
Kylie looked embarrassed. She tolerated the yelling and explained, "Ms.
Saunders, I wanted to thank Jerome for what he did for my father. That's why I invited him for a
meal."
"Hmph, who would believe this? Kylie White, I'm warning you-Mikayla is Jerome's real wife. Don't think that you're special just because you've known Jerome for a long time! You're nothing but a housekeeper's daughter. Even if you look noble, you're not worthy of Jerome!"
"Ms. Saunders, please watch your actions. You're trespassing on private property," Jerome suddenly said coldly.

Kylie stumbled backward from the push. Jerome got up and caught her in time.
"Enough! Get out of here!" Jerome's face was stone cold. "Tell Mikayla to behave. Otherwise, even Grandma can't protect her!"
Still upset, Aubrey wanted to spit a few more harsh words when security guards showed

Below, Aubrey had sent her another two voice messages.
"Kay, Jerome keeps defending that bitch! How infuriating! You need to interrogate
him about his intentions when he comes home!"
