Chapter Preface
Alex Rogers has no idea why someone is shooting at him. All he did was do a little research on the internet to check out the dreams he was having about seeing stars vanish.
The next thing he knows, he is being shot at, unexpectedly rescued and whisked off at high-speed to a place no government knows exists…a place buried deep in the earth’s crust…a place that was put here just after the Earth had cooled after its creation.
In that place is vast computer with knowledge of everything in every galaxy, in our universe…and beyond. The computer knows something is coming and is sending out the signal to awaken those who can stop it: Travelers.
Travelers are ancient warriors, designed to be embedded into the DNA code of unsuspecting hosts. That DNA is passed on from generation to generation, for thousands or millions of years, waiting patiently in the event they are needed.
They are designed for one purpose: to stop it if it ever enters the reality that they exist in. Once awakened, they move instantly to deep space, preparing for the battle to come…one where they use exploding supernovas, black holes and a barrier of pure, living energy to stop it in its tracks.
It has come to our galaxy…the thing that can cancel out entire star systems, universes, galaxies…eventually entire realities, leaving nothing in its wake as it moves from reality to reality. The Travelers, four ancient beings assigned to each reality, are awakened from their long dormant sleep to stop it before it destroys everything in our universe and then move on to the next.
Our universe is a small part of only one reality…there are an infinite number of alternate realities…and they are all in danger.
Alex does not know it yet, but he and two very unusual human sisters are the only ones who must stop it!
Space is full of stars, but not much longer. It is here…and Earth is in its path.
