Alpha's love

Chapter Meeting my mate

Aria let out a breath she hadn't known she was holding, turning to Eve she said, "prepare our pack for war, they will attack soon, I'm sure of it.'' With that she dashed out the door, calling upon Milean to shift. She directed her wolf to the club where she would meet the alpha. Milean ran with such confidence and stableness that it gave Aria a chance to think of what she would say to the alpha. She had to attempt to keep her emotions in check, Milean would want to attack, verbally or physically, but she couldn't afford for the alpha to think that she was weak, especially not now after she had lost her Beta. She had the upper hand, she knew that. She would make it clear to the alpha that she was going to kill his beta, whether he waged war against her or not, it was only fair. The pack way had always been an eye for an eye, especially when death occurred. Milean arrived at the edge of the town in record time, 5 minutes before her meeting. Aria was able to change into the dress and heels she had stashed in the tree a few hours prior. Thankfully, Eve had thought to clothe her in a simple white t-shirt that hung to her mid-thigh, so she didn't have to talk to the Delta naked, but she was thankful that she had stashed the clothes here. While they were a little too skimpy for her liking, with a high slit from lower thigh to hip, it allowed for a classier look than a white t-shirt. Plus, Aria had the assets, so why not make the alpha uncomfortable with her presence in a dress that was clearly for the clubs. Besides, the dress made Aria feel more confident and powerful than ever, even Milean approved of the dress telling Aria that she was bound to turn heads.

As Aria brushed past the bouncers, who let her pass without a second glance, she was hit with the most intoxicating scent she'd ever smelt in her life, woodsy with a hint of ocean. MATE, Milean screamed in her head and Aria cursed. The last thing she needed was for her mate to be here when she was meeting with a MALE alpha. Milan saw him before she did, her yips of delight and demands to run to him overpowering Aria's senses as she muttered under her breath, Milean, stop it, we are here as an alpha to declare war, our mate can wait. Milean snarled at this and barked some cuss words of her own directed in Aria's direction before slinking off. The man that Milean had spotted sensed her too, his green eyes flying up to meet her electric blue ones. She could sense his aura of power from here, and that's when the pit of dread formed in her stomach. It's him, he's the alpha. My MATE is the alpha who ordered the beta onto my land. Milean snarled at this, first that he was the alpha, but then she howled in despair when Aria stalked towards the alpha. Stealing her shoulders and trying to hold her breath as much as possible, to ward off his intoxicating scent.

"Mate," he growled as she approached and he went to grab her but she stepped back quickly, using most of her self-control not to melt into his arms.

"I am Alpha Aria of Full Moon pack and I am here to make my declaration of war against the Crescent Arc Pack official according to the Wolf Code." The alpha dropped his outstretched hand, his brows furrowing.

"You can't be serious, we can't wage war against each other, we're mates." Aria let out a short, harsh laugh, letting her cold side take over.

"I think we should take this outside...alpha, the humans don't need to see two wolves fighting here." Aria brushed past him, leading the way out two back doors concealed behind a curtain, that led into an alley. She slammed the doors behind her, and for a second she was free of his scent, but then he barreled through the doors searching frantically for her. She smirked, leaning against the wall, trying to appear at ease, even though she was anything but. Milean was still muttering under her breath, but Aria pushed her away as she turned to face the alpha, whose eyes were darkening with anger. "You ordered your beta to trespass on my land, and then he..he killed my beta, my best friend." Aria cleared her throat, trying to keep her voice from shaking as she recalled Ellia's dead body on the ground surrounded by blood.

The alpha stepped towards her, his eyes troubled, his hand wavering as if he wanted to reach out and comfort her. Then he shook his head and glared at her,"I ordered my beta to scout, he was in no way ordered to attack, it was a peaceful mission."

Aria snorted,"Right so somehow trespassing onto my territory and then challenging me is peaceful, Alpha....." His jaw worked as she said this before he leaned against the wall his eyes flashing as he battled his wolf for control,

"Marcus... Alpha Marcus, and I didn't order him to attack you, if he did that then he went against my orders, which he'll be punished for, of course." Aria stepped back, trying to increase the distance between them, but Alpha Marcus only stepped closer, his scent crashing over her again and again.

"Stop," Aria breathed putting her head out in front of her to stop him from coming closer. ''I can't concentrate when your this close to me, your scent...it's overpowering, step back." Marcus smirked, leaning forward to press his chest against her hand and she breathed in sharply as tingles erupted beneath her palm. She looked up from her palm to meet his eyes which had turned completely black, his wolf now in completely in control. Aria immediately snatched her hand away from her chest, despite Milean's howl of protest. "I won't let your beta live, if he's not dead already, not after he killed my beta and nearly tore my guts out." Marcus snarled suddenly, pushing Aria against the wall bending in, he breathed in deeply, his nose buried in her neck. Aria stood frozen, his hands on either side of her, his nose buried in her neck, her mouth slightly agape at his sudden actions.

He pulled back after a few moments, "He...........hurt you?" Marcus questioned, his tone dangerous. Aria thought for a second,

"I'm okay, my doctor healed me, but yes I was bleeding out....we are not here to discuss me though, we are here so that I can tell you I am declaring war."

Marcus grunted in response, "you won't wage war against me, I'm your mate. You'll come home with me and I will mark you and then you will be my Luna." Milean howled her delight in Aria's mind, urging her to go with him, but Aria quickly dampened it. Shoving his arms away from her, she moved away quickly standing several feet away from him as he glowered at her.

"I..know I am your mate, and I know that our bond will keep me from killing you, the moon goddess made us mates for a reason, perhaps it was so that this war wouldn't happen. Therefore, I will suspend my declaration of war, until we can make a truce, but as of right now, I can't acknowledge you as my mate. I am an Alpha and my first duty lies with my pack, as does yours," Aria rushed. She knew that Marcus was eager to mark her, and she was scared that if he tried she wouldn't be able to say no. This whole mate business is dangerous Milean, my first duty MUST lie with my pack and their safety, pleasure next. She muttered to Milean, who after several moments of contemplation agreed.

Marcus however, was not ready to agree with Aria, "Yes, my first duty does lie with my pack, but you must be my Luna that is the way it must be, you must relinquish your duty to your pack and come with me...." Aria cut him off before he could finish his sentence, her anger boiling over,

"I will NOT Relinquish my duties as alpha for YOU! We're done here, I'll send your delta a date and time that works for me for the truce." Aria muttered the last part over her shoulder as she ran back inside the doors that she had been backing towards the whole while she had yelled at Marcus. She locked the doors behind her and then ran as fast as she could out of the club, shifting in the middle of the street, urging Milean to run. She heard his wolf behind her after a few minutes, but urging Milean towards their territory she spun when they crossed the border. She shifted back into her human form, completely naked she yelled back into the forest behind her, "IF YOU CROSS THIS DAMN TERRITORY LINE, I WILL WAGE WAR......ALPHA!" With that, Aria turned and walked away still in human form, smirking as she felt his wolf eyes burning into the back of her virgin body. She'd changed just to test his boundaries. She could have growled in her wolf form and he would have gotten the message, but she knew that this would be a breaking point for him. He couldn't reach her, but he could see her all right. Well, her backside anyways.
