Alpha's Cursed Luna

Chapter 61

ELEANOR

I turn my head only to see a massive jet black wolf lunge straight at them, catching three of the men off guard whilst the three others backed away almost immediately after he attacked. There was one huge gray wolf trudging close behind him and he started attacking the others too.

Dumbfounded, I watched the scene wide-eyed with my mouth agape while they growl and claw violently at each other. Canines descending like daggers from their rabid mouths. Their ears were closed down their foreheads, and their nozzles crinkled as they growled.

Vaguely aware that I was naked, I look around and see an extra large, dirty white button-down polo shirt lying on the ground. Hugging my fully-exposed breasts, I reached out and grabbed it from the ground.

This will have to do.

I fumbled for the shirt's opening before tossing it over me. It was big and long, and it touched below my knees but I'm grateful for it. Relieved to finally have some clothing to cover my exposed skin, I sighed.

I whip my head to the sound of multiple bones snapping and gushing of blood, followed by a succession of loud whimpers.

I let my eyes travel across the scene and saw two wolves lying on the ground. Unmoving.

I squinted at the brown wolves while the huge jet black wolf stood fiercely above them. My eyes widening at his immense size. Could he be an alpha?

He watched as the color leaves their eyes. Their lifeless bodies became nothing more than dust on the solid ground.

On the other side, the gray wolf pinned down two of the enemies, but I knew they were all from my old pack. Each of them struggled yet they were unable to free themselves from his tight grasp.

My heart jumped when his companion dashed towards him and sank his canines in their necks. Meanwhile, two of those men chasing after me shifted into their wolves, and was about to run off but the huge jet black wolf jumped in front of them, blocking their path.

His black fur glistened under the bright early morning sun, like a knight in shining armor in the form of a shiny black wolf.

He lets out a thundering growl, staring down at those wolves who whimpered and lowered their heads in extreme and visible fear.

"Coby... fuck!”

Out of curiosity, I slightly twist my head and saw blood oozing from the other man's back.

It wouldn't stop although Ezekiel pressed his hand on his wound as he couldn't find any cloth to cover it up with.

I sprung to my feet and kneeled before the man named Coby to inspect his wounds.

I was confident I knew what to do given that I had been healing my past wounds for over five whole years, since the pack began to express their hatred towards me.

"Let me see.”

Ezekiel let me have full access on the wound and stepped backward a little. I couldn't help but notice the thing dangle between his muscular thighs.

I looked over the wound carefully and clicked my tongue seeing the severity of his wound. My eyes darted to the dagger lying on the ground.

I bent down to pick it up, shrugging off the intense feeling of having a pair of piercing eyes watching me intently.

After picking it up, I instinctively let go of the dagger, causing it to fall to the ground before me.

My eyes locked with Ezekiel after that.

“Th-This is silver!”

He furrowed his brows before a gloomy expression etched his handsome face

“Silver?” He repeated

I nod but my eyes snapped back to Coby's face as I heard him groan.

He's in pain.

“The silver is what's preventing his body to heal. At this time, he might need to shift. But his body is too weak to do that,” I explain.

Coby groaned then screamed in both agony and pain. Out of instinct, I touched his wound in a bid to put more pressure, biting my lower lip.

More blood was seeping out from his back, and somehow I couldn't help but feel guilty for the pain I've caused. This was all my fault. If they hadn't come to my rescue, this man wouldn't be lying helpless on the ground while losing more of his blood.

A feeling of deep regret and anger filled my heart as I stared hard at the blood.

It just keeps flowing nonstop. All I could think of in my mind was to make the blood stop. I don't understand why but I kept picturing his blood to rush back into his veins.

All of a sudden, bright red strings of light intertwined beneath my fingers as I press onto his wound. “What the..." Ezekiel muttered.

Shellshocked, I froze, my body turning into solid rock as I blinked at my hand.

I stilled as my eyes followed the movement of the blood flowing backwards and into his skin.

In a short moment, his wound began to close in itself as the huge amounts of blood rushed towards him in reverse.

As soon as it was finished, I pulled my hand away in confusion as well as shock.

Coby groaned but he was able to sit up as if he had not been stabbed by a silver dagger on his back.

Coby felt for his wound, glancing over at Ezekiel who kept his gaze pinned on my puzzled face. How..

How the hell did that happen?
