Chapter 143.

Chapter Forty: Dream Come True

Kiara, at the age of Fourteen

Kiara POV:

19

Confused about what to wear as king Kayden and Jayden hadn’t told me where we were going. I went with a simple pink dress that fell a little above my knees with white sneakers and did my hair in a ponytail. If there was one thing, more like who, I absolutely missed during my time here in the castle was auntie Meg. She was a second mother to me, she always had my clothes out and did my hair, and now that I have to do it myself, I’m always second–guessing whether what I choose is nice or not. I was scared I would either go too girly with my still lowkey obsession with Disney and bright colours or go completely tomboy because all I have done over the years was spend time with guys around me. I was broken out of thought when I heard a knock on the door. Then it slowly opened, but no one came in.

“Can I come in?” I heard Beta Tim say

Yelling a yeah, the door opened, and both beta Tim and Gamma Chris stood smiling at me. The look of pity in their eyes was long gone, and just happiness shone. Did they get a promotion or something? They were at their peak at this point, so I doubt that was the case.

“You look really pretty, little queen.” Said Gamma Chris

I blushed and squeaked out a quick thank you.

“You sure? I’m not sure where we’re going, and their highnesses didn’t mention a dress code. I hope it’s not too much.” I said, looking down at my clothes

Maybe pink was too bright. I should’ve gone with something lowkey, but unfortunately, I only had bright colours. Maybe I could go shopping with Rex and JJ soon.

“Not at all, little queen. If anything, it fits the place perfectly.” Said,

Beta Tim.

That meant they knew where we were going. I gave them my best. puppy dog eyes and smiled at them.

“Can you please tell me where we’re going then?” I said in a sweet voice.

They both chuckled and patted my shoulders before telling me to follow them. Huh! Well, that blew up in my face. Here I thought I could get my way, which was ninety–nine percent time the case with all of them, including my friends and family. I tried pestering them as we made our way to the twin’s office, but I was damn out of luck with these two. Ugh! What was it today, and people getting on my nerves? When we reached the twin’s office, Beta Tim knocked, and we were told to come in, but before they let me in and go off and do goddess know what, I turned to them. I gave them my best glare with my hands. on my hips, hoping to look intimidating, but that would never be the case since I was the pipsqueak of the castle.

“Just so you know, I’m mad, and we’ll be having words about you both. not telling me anything,” I said.

They chuckled, nodded, and left before ushering me into the office. I couldn’t help but smile as soon as they left, they were annoying, but I adored them as I did triplets back home. The moment I entered the office, my eyes landed on both king Kayden and Jayden, and those

damn butterflies in my tummy decided to flutter up again. This was the first time I had seen them not in formal wear but in causal jeans and a button–down.

Shit! Stop staring, Kiara; they’ll find you weird. But as much as I repeated those words in my mind, it was like my eyes had a mind of their own. Goddess! How I wished they could’ve been my mates, but beggars can’t be choosers. I was no queen, no leader. That thought bummed me a bit that I would eventually leave, and they would be so occupied with their luna they would forget about me. However, I pushed the thoughts away and smiled at them, and for some reason, they had smug looks on their faces, which I didn’t get why.

“You look beautiful little one.” Said, king Kayden

I couldn’t help the blush that crawled up my cheeks. I had always loved. when they complimented me.

“Thanks.” I meeked out. Looking anywhere but them.

I heard them chuckle.

“Let’s go. We don’t want to be late.” Said, king Jayden.

But before I could ask where we were going, his eyes faded, mind linking someone, and suddenly a portal opened.

What the heck? Portals were for multiverse travel. Were we leaving the wolf kingdom? King Kayden came over and offered me his hand, which I didn’t hesitate to take as king Jayden stood on my other side. Both looked down and smiled at me.

“Hold tight little one.” Said king Kayden as he and his brother led me through the portal

White light flashed that had me shutting my eyes tight and clasping the twin’s hands in a death grip. Getting lost in portal travel is like getting lost in time if you don’t know how to travel properly. I was going to feel the effect of this come tomorrow. The first time is always awful. However, it was over before it even started, as I felt the hard pavement under my feet. Not waiting for a second longer, I opened my eyes and gasped at where we stood.

We were in front of Walt Disney World in the earth realm. Tears gathered in my eyes; I had always wanted to come but never had the

time. Growing up a Disney fan and being here was like a dream come true. I didn’t know what came over me, but I turned around and hugged both the kings. They both stiffened for a bit, then completely relaxed. I swear I even heard a purr, but that was probably my own. With the amount of happiness going through me, I was surprised I didn’t bark.

“Goddess, thank you! Thank you! thank you! You don’t know what this means to me.” I said.

The twins bent down, so they were more on level with me as they each hugged me. Their musky scent woke up those damn butterflies again, but I ignored them and focused on how weirdly satisfying this felt. When they pulled back, king Jayden spoke up.

“Does this mean we’re forgiven?” He asked.

They both held their breaths. I wanted to laugh, the big bad alpha kings. anxious on a mere teenage she–wolf forgiveness. Honestly, I had forgiven them the moment I cooled down; I didn’t have it in me to stay mad at them forever, regardless of what they did. Toxic habit, but it is what it is. It wasn’t like I would see them much after the next year anyway, when I returned home.

I crossed one arm over my chest and tapped the other hand’s index. finger on my chin, pretending to think which had the twins smiling. but I could tell they were both still anxious. I giggled, and without care, I wrapped my arms around their necks and hugged them again. I couldn’t do this back in the castle. What better than doing the one thing I envied the other girls for?

“Yes! But this is the last time.” I said as I pulled back.

They both smiled and nodded, but before they both got up to their heights, king Kayden placed a pair of Minnie mouse ears over my head, and we were off into the happiest place on earth.

The moment I stepped onto the amusement park’s property, I could feel the magic swirling around me. As I walked through the crowds of young and older adults wearing Disney apparel and Mickey Mouse ears, everything seemed so enchanting: The cheerful music. The twinkly lights on all of the buildings. The stores could have been from my favourite Disney movies.

Walking along the streets, I took pictures of everything around me because I did not want to forget a single detail; I took pictures of the vibrant yellow, red, and pink flowers that lined the streets, the buildings with intricate details and designs, and the massive roller coasters that glided so swiftly on their tracks. The air was filled with

heavenly scents of sweet churros, and I had to get one; it was. delectable. Everything at Disneyland seemed perfect like it was out of a movie. I shook Mickey Mouse’s hand, hugged Goofy, and met all of my favourite Disney characters. It was a truly euphoric experience to meet the stars of all my favourite princesses and princes that I so loyally watched every morning. The sound of a blowing whistle or the chugging sound of The Disneyland Railroad as it pulled into Main Street Station. The essence of freshly baked treats flooding down Main Street. Even as I was about to leave, I got drawn back in, spectacular, bright, colourful fireworks started bursting right over my head, and I could not bring myself to go. My first visit to Disneyland was genuinely enchanting and magical, but what made it even better was having the twins next to me the whole time.
